Chapter 78

The crowd of skaters were talking amongst themselves while leaving the arena not looking to happy. "Hi, everyone." Greeted Helios as he and Luna were waiting outside. Marcella, Danica and Jovana were puzzled.

"Where's Selina and Hermione?" Asked Luna.

"Hermione is staying behind. The coach offered her a special lesson." Explained Danica.

"I'm jealous." Added Marcella.

"Hey, Selina was with us until just a moment ago." Said Jovana as she turned around to look at the entrances.

"Baksheesh, she's such a dull turtle." Complained Marcella. All of a sudden, the doors closed locked themselves up and a barrier went on top of that as well. "Wh...What's going on?" Marcella was as surprised as the other two witnesses.

"It's fishy. Was it really a trap of the Evil Will?" Jovana suggested.

"Oh no!" Danica didn't even want to think about that. As for Selina, she was snooping around the hallways of the arena, checking here and there to see if anybody is in the building with her.

"I can't leave now. I'll get my lesson, too!" Selina was determined. In the security room, Janelyn continue to watch Hermione and Michael skate together.

"How could that girl skate so lightly with my Michael? Michael! I won't allow it!" Janelyn threw her fist at the monitor, instantaneously destroying it. Selina continue to sneak herself around the place until a door swung open and smack her face to the ground. Janelyn wasn't even aware of the impact and continue on to the rink ready to rip someone's head off. Selina sitting in the floor rubbing her pain away from her face.

"That was mean, who swings open the door like that!? Huh..." Selina stopped complaining when she heard a crackle sound. She peeped inside the newly opened room and saw the jacked up monitors electrocuting themselves. "What the heck is this?" She stepped inside and took a closer look. One of the working monitors has a still image of Hermione skating with Michael being compared by the program of matching to the Guardians. "It can't be!" Selina realized the place is about to blow. She ran for her dear life and within seconds it blew up behind her. At the rink, Hermione and Michael continue to dance together.

This can't be your first time figure skating. He said to himself. Trust me. Maybe you can tell me the truth.

Coach... Hermione was in cloud nine.

"Michael!" Called out Janelyn. Michael and Hermione stopped and looked toward her. "Michael, is it really over between us? I won't let you be stolen by an amateur like this one! I'll kill you first!" Janelyn's eyes glowed red.

"Wait!" Michael tried. Janelyn started to transform to her other form.

"Coach, run!" Hermione realized she ain't dealing with regular people. Michael grabbed Hermione's arm and pushed her away.

"Hold it, Janelyn! I just wanted to see if she was Guardian Moon." Explained Michael. Hermione started to panic.

"LIAR!" Janelyn changed into a pale skin white-gray hair, a gray dirndl skirt with a black waist apron on top, a gray crop top with ¾ length sleeves. Her skates were from white to black.

"Her skill is excellent. But you know very well that skill alone doesn't make a good pair." He explained.

"What are you doing..." Hermione had a bad feeling of what's going to happen.

"Michael! It's too late! I can't stop now!" Janelyn added a gray scarf around her neck. "Take your hands off him!"

"An enemy!" Hermione was in a pickle.

"Janelyn!" Michael call out to her. Janelyn in her new form skated down the rink with such speed, jumped up in the air and did a triple axel.

"Ice KICK!" Janelyn kicked Hermione away from Michael with her razor sharp blade. Hermione slammed her body against the boards.

"Ja...Janelyn." Michael was confused.

"Come to me, Michael. My partner." Janelyn reached out her hand to him.

"We are the world's greatest pair." Michael's eyes began to glow red. He reached out to her hand and transformed into a pale skin white hair, a pair of white pants and a necklace of white feathers and white beads, and did I mention he is shirtless? On his wrists were white leather cuffs. His black skates turned white. Hermione saw his transformation.

"He's one of them too?" The two demon ice skaters were dancing together with joy.

"No one can deny it! We are the mightiest pair in the world!" The two said together.

"I'm Louhi! The Ice Witch."

"I'm Aisoyimstan! The Snow God."

"The two of us together are the Chill Factors. Now that you've seen our true form, you can't leave here alive." said the two.

"Oh bloody hell!" Hermione is not liking her day. The two charged after her with a jump.

"Combination Jump Attack!" The two are so in sync and it's getting creepy. The two struck her. Hermione was left injured badly with cuts and bruises. Selina came in the nick of time and saw Hermione at her worst.

"Hermione! Why you...Upon the Rule of Diana, Lend me Your Light!" The two psychos laughed at Hermione.

"We'll finish her." Said Louhi

"As you please." Agreed Aisoyimstan. After her transformation, she did her thing.

"For rights and justice, the white-suited warrior, I'm Guardian Moon! To use graceful figure skating as a weapon to do nasty things to innocent girls! I, Guardian Moon, will not forgive you! Under the Name of Diana, I will defeat you!"

"Guardian Moon!" Exclaimed Louhi.

"We've been waiting for you. We'll take the Moonstone." Said Aisoyimstan. Selina jumped off the seats and aimed for the ice.

"No, you won't!" Selina refused. Before she landed on her feet, blades appeared out of nowhere attached to her boots. When she landed, she slipped and fell on her chest. "Hey!" The enemy pair laughed at her. "Oh, no! Even though I transformed, they still managed to put on skates on my boots!"

"Guardian Moon, prepare to meet your fate!" Said the annoying two. "Death Icicle!" Louhi formed an extremely long and thin icicle and held it like a blade. Aisoyimstan grabbed Louhi's arm and swung her hard to Selina. Louhi comes speeding with the blade aimed at Selina, who is having a hard time getting up. Coming in fast toward Selina is a man in dark green outfit and a black mask. "DIE!" Shouted Louhi. Before she touch Selina, Selina disappeared after a flash of green. Louhi stabbed her blade into the ice looking confused. "Huh?" Aisoyimstan saw the rescuer.

"That's..." He was also confused. Selina opened her eyes thinking she was dead, she look to her side and saw Guardian Earth skating beside her.

"Guardian Earth, well, someone has a change of heart."

"Don't misunderstand me. I don't like them hurting innocent bystanders such as that girl." He indicated the injured Hermione. Selina was dumbfounded. "After I'm done with these rogue demons, I'll come for you and the Moonstone." He explained.

"Of course you are." Selina added not surprising her one bit, in the distance she saw the two psycho skaters.

"Lord Edward, do not try to stop us!" Said Aisoyimstan.

"We won't hesitate to attack even you!" Added Louhi. Edward turned to them.

"Do you think you can defeat me?" He teased them.

"I don't think you should make them mad." Suggested Selina.

"Interesting..." Replied Aisoyimstan.

"Challenge the gold medalists' techniques!" Added Louhi.

"Oh shit!" Selina was not up to it and doesn't want to be a part of it. The demon duo did a double axel.

"Double Ice Kick!" The two aimed their skates at the Guardians.

"Jump!" Edward said to Selina all of a sudden. She looked at him confused. "Now!" He grabbed her and threw her in the air. Selina was spinning in mid air and landed nicely on one foot.

"Oh crap! I did it!" Selina amazed herself. The duo demons missed their target.

"You fool!" The two charged after her. Selina started to skate faster to get away from them.

"Jump high!" Shouted Edward.

"Are you serious?!" Selina thinks he's dreaming.

"DIE!" The two formed ice blades and charged after her. Selina saw them coming.

"Dammit! Here goes nothing!" Selina sped up a little more and jump really high making a triple axel. The two missed their target again. "I did it! I did it on my own! I can do this!" Selina's self-esteem went up.

"Nice jump, Guardian Moon." Complimented Edward as he skated beside her.

"Thank you." she replied back. The two demons crouch down with one leg sticking out, spinning like tops.

"Sit spin Kick!" Aisoyimstan impact made Edward crash to the boards and same with Selina by Louhi. They charged at them again with ice blades. "This is the END!"

"Quicksilver Haze, Surround!" A thick fog completely covered the ice rink making anything not visible. The two demons began to feel weaker due to the poisoning of the mist.

"Mercury!" Exclaimed Selina, surprised she had the energy to stand.

"Coach, stop this! Go back to your old form." Hermione begged.

"You..." Aisoyimstan tried to say something, then three other Guardians came into the action.

"Great! Everybody is here!" Said Selina. Lord Midas appeared above them all.

"So there you are, Guardian warriors. I pity you, Lord Edward. This is what you get for interfering with me." On the ceiling of the arena, was a large globe that he triggered. It started to glow red. Two large vents came down and blasted a wintery wind as strong as a blizzard at the ice rink..

"It's cold!" Everyone complained.

"Lord Midas..." Said Aisoyimstan. The boards began to frost and the ceiling were covered in icicles.

"Enjoy the freezing torture of absolute zero degrees. Once you slowly become ice statues, I will return for the Moonstone." Lord Midas vanished. Edward look up in anger and in chills.

"Damn you, Midas!" He cursed.

"It's so cold...I can't bear it..." Said Selina was in pain of the cold. Edward looked up to see the globe who was controlling the vents.

"That must be it!" Edward threw his wooden cane like a spear and aimed it at the globe. It pierced through the globe and exploded. The vents stopped afterward. The two demons burst out in anger and shook out their chills.

"Guardian Moon, hurry!" Mentioned Hermione.

"Okay! Moonstone Heal!" Selina brought the two back to normal.

"Janelyn."

"Michael." The two were happy to see each other again. Selina looked around looking lost.

"Hey, Guardian Earth? Where is he? He disappeared again!" Selina realized. After they left the arena, Hermione seemed a little down. "Um, Hermione?"

"Hermione?" Danica was worried about her also.

"What is it? Don't think I'm sad or anything. It's nothing at all. Ahh...Soon I'll find a better looking..." Hermione stopped when she saw a handsome young guy walked by her. "Gorgeous lad! His nose looks just like that of the boys back home." Hermione is head over heels once more. The rest of the group gave up on her and walked on.

"Honestly, Hermione..." Complained Selina.
