You know after I gave two of my exams yesterday, I was notified my exams (at least two of them) have been cancelled! (this goes on for eternity, by the way) So I was so elated that I decided to take two days break. My break is almost over and from tomorrow I'm gonna start my study marathon.

So, please, if my mother, Athena, has any mercy on me, she'll probably give me the blessing of Athena. Dunno if there's any thing like that, but I'll love getting the blessing of Athena and then, I'll do awesome in every exam.

Disclaimer: I was thinking about doing a disclaimer, so thought about it, and no I don't own PJO. No one here owns any of the books, series, comics or anything. If they did, they wouldn't be here would they?

14. Spying.

Yes, spying was the perfect word for it, what Percy, Piper, Nico, Jason, Hazel, Frank and Annabeth were doing now. If you still didn't get who exactly they were spying on, let me tell you. Leo Valdez and Reyna Avila and their first date.

They all were hiding under bushes. Some of the nymphs went really angry.

"Hey, this is my bush. Get out of here." A blueberry bush complained.

But Jason winked at her and she shut up about it.

No wonder Nico started calling Jason and Piper the 'Charm speaking couple'.

"Hush," Annabeth ordered Percy and Jason, who were arguing about what was more useful: water or electricity. So far, water was winning.

Piper, Hazel and Annabeth was extremely interested in Leo's date. That's how they managed to drag their boyfriends and Hazel's brother near the forest, right beside the lake.

"Ok, Reyna's angry." Jason commented.

That she was. Leo was late. The first thing Piper taught Leo: Never be late on a date. Piper groaned. It was fortunate that they were in a safe distance that Reyna couldn't hear them.

"Guess he's not gonna come." Reyna muttered angrily. "I never should've agreed to come on a date with him."

"No," Hazel's voice came out muffled. "He is definitely showing up."

"If he doesn't. I'll personally kill him." Jason muttered.

"Count me in." Annabeth murmured.

Just before anyone else can volunteer to kill Leo, he came in running, with a basket in his hands. "I'm sorry I'm late Reyna. Please don't kill me." He dropped the basket and raised both of his above his head. Reyna glared at him for a moment before allowing herself to smile.

"Why are you wet?" Reyna asked.

Now that she said it, Percy and the others noticed that it was true. Leo was dripping wet.

Leo stammered. "I-uh, was, um, fire." He finally got out what he wanted to say. Embarrassed, he scratched the crook of his neck.

Reyna looked at him for a moment. "You are trying to say that you were on fire and then you took a dip in the lake?" She asked, barely containing her laughter. Leo grinned at that too.

"No, I took a shower, well, the naiads helped me." He muttered.

"Way to make an impression, Leo." Piper said dryly as Frank and Jason chuckled.

"I'm still gonna kill him, though." Annabeth said to Percy.

"Why?"

"He should notice that he is smelling horrifying right now." Annabeth stated.

"You know you are smelling horrifying right now?" Reyna asked Leo.

"Wow, it's like you two can read each other's minds." Percy said in awe.

"Uh, no." Leo blushed. He probably would be on fire, if it wasn't for his sheer will power. Which he learned, worked.

"Seriously? This date is going horrifying." Piper muttered.

"He should make a run for it." Percy suggested.

"She should make a run for it." Jason said.

"They should both just kiss." Hazel grinned.

"Oh no." Frank shrank into a chameleon.

Nico just stared grumpily at them. "You guys should let me go."

"NO!" Jason, Percy and Frank shouted.

Unfortunately they were too loud. Leo and Reyna turned to face them, from their oh-so-interesting chat about hygiene.

"Percy?" Reyna asked.

"Jason?" Leo's eyes were wide.

"Oh and no one remembers me." Frank sighed.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THREE DOING HERE?" Reyna bellowed and started coming forward. Leo behind her, furious.

"Ok, it's good not to be remembered." Frank mumbled.

Even Annabeth cringed. Hazel, Piper and Percy were visibly shaking. Jason decided to turn around and hide. Nico shadow travelled out of there. Thank Hades, he could do that.

In a split second decision, all of them decided to run from Reyna and Leo too. They both looked angry.

Reyna and Leo faced each other. After ten seconds passed, they started to laugh until their stomachs hurt.

"Whoa, this was the most awesome date ever." Leo choked out.

"So, you must be experienced." Reyna winked at him. "Messing up dates and all."

"Nope, this is the first date I - our friends - messed up." Leo said. Maybe it was seeing her smile, but he became a bit confident. "Will you give me another chance, m'lady?"

Reyna looked at him. Leo was also preparing to run. But before he could make up his mind. "Well, next week, in a good restaurant and try not to burn up or bring your friends along." With that, Reyna gave Leo a half smile before walking away.

No wonder, Leo didn't kill his friends that day.
