This chapter is for ANON and JUJUPOPS494. I combined BOTH ideas, so I hope its good (If not, oh well, I tried)
The title for this chapter sucks a bit, I know.

…
He flew around the clouds, his cape billowing out behind him. With a quiet 'thump' he landed on the roof of a building, his cape surrounding him with its dark shroud. He watched as a young couple walked hand in hand down the dark street. Cocking his head, he could hear the thump of fresh blood pulsing through them.
On silent feet, he followed them, his teeth glinting in the dull light.
…
"Look at this," Benny said to Ethan as they stared at the school's bulletin board. Ethan shook his head; the board, which was usually covered with flyers for school-related activities, was now covered in flyers of missing students. "You think our 'friends' have something to do with this?"
"I don't think so… they're pretty good about not making such a big scene when they hunt, and never attack so many people in so few days..."
"Then what could it be?"
"Who knows; whatever it is though, it's probably something big and bad that we'll have to take care of."
…
"Have you seen all the missing people flyers?" Sarah asked as she joined Ethan and Benny for lunch.
"Yeah. This isn't…?"
"Erica wouldn't do this much damage! What if it's your little friend?"
"Oh please, Rory wouldn't do this," Benny scoffed, making Sarah hiss.
"I wasn't asking you, was I?"
"You're lucky I don't turn you into a pile of ash!"
"Like you could!"
"Would you two stop!" Ethan cried, looking between his boyfriend and his friend. "We've got a serious problem and you two arguing isn't helping anything!" Sarah and Benny both went silent as they looked at Ethan. "Okay, I get it, you both like me, but that isn't the problem right now. Sarah, I pursued you for a year and a half, and you just shot me down every single time. And now I'm with Benny, who likes me and I like him, so just stop this! Okay? I'm going to go and see what I can find out about these attacks." With that, Ethan got up and left them alone together.
"This is all your fault."
"If you had just backed off like I suggested, then we wouldn't have this problem!"
"You're just pissed that he chose me over you."
"Eventually he'll see what a big mistake that was. Until then… we'll call a truce?"
"Whatever," Benny grumbled, leaving the vampire alone to find his boyfriend.
…
He looked at the warehouse that he housed his dinner in; he did not like to kill people, so he just ended up making more like himself.
He hadn't realized how many he had made though…
He figured this would be a problem, but not for him.
He wouldn't be in town much longer. Just a couple more nights and he would have his fill of people from this town; then, he would make his way onwards to the next town, and so forth, until he returned home.
Oh, how he longed for home.
…
"This is a bad idea," Benny whispered, making Ethan roll his eyes.
"Well it's the only idea I had, so I'm using it." Benny grumbled as the two were led into the Vampire Council's lair by Sarah, Erica, and Rory.
"Figured we'd be seeing you soon. What have you done to this town now?" The head vampire asked, her small voice filled with a condescending tone.
"We've come to ask you if you've had anything to do-"
"With all the disappearances? No, that's not us this time. But it is one of our kind."
"A vampire? How do you know?"
"The pattern," she said, indicating a map that hung behind them. "We've been observing it for a while now. Whoever it is is making their way through the towns, drinking from people; it does not kill though. More and more of our kind are popping up soon after it leaves, which confirms our suspicions. They seem… disoriented though; as if the blood that changed them… is different somehow; older, wiser even. We're not sure what type of vampire it is, but it is one. But it could be deadly."
"Aren't all you guys deadly?" She hissed at Benny, who rolled his eyes.
"Can we stop it?"
"Who knows?" she said, sounding bored, "if it's as old as the samples we've seen have expressed, then it may not be stoppable."
"That's what I smell," Erica commented, making the others look at her. "She's got some of his "changelings" here."
"You do? Can we see them?" Ethan asked, making the girl look uncomfortable for once. "What is it?"
"They're having trouble… adjusting. But hey, it's your blood." She waved a hand before Ethan was gripped by two of her guards, pulling him up and away from his friends.
"Hey!" Benny cried; he attempted to follow, but was stopped by two large vampire guards. "Ethan!" Ethan was silent as he was whisked away to a dark room.
"Have fun Seer," a guard grunted before he was locked in the room. He looked around until he met beady eyes and glinting fangs; the person they belonged to was behind a barred cell, feet chained to the floor.
"Have I been granted food?" It asked, voice raspy; Ethan couldn't tell if it was guy or a girl.
"Uh, no… Actually, I was wondering if you could tell me anything about the person who changed you." The person in the cage made a disgruntled noise as they stared at him. "Can you?"
"All I remember was that I was out for a walk when someone snuck up behind me and grabbed me; I didn't get a look at their face really, only a glimpse maybe. I passed out, and when I woke up, I was in a large… warehouse type thing. And I was like this."
"Can I see?" Ethan asked, holding out his hand. The person stared at him for a moment before extending their hand to his. Ethan jolted as he was sent into a vision.
A lone figure was walking down the street when someone appeared silently behind them, a cape shrouding them. They grabbed the figure and pulled them to face them. The person went to let out a scream when the saw the face, but they were unconscious before any sound could leave their throat.
Ethan stumbled back and looked at the person.
"What is it?" they hissed, watching him intently. "What's got you frightened so?" Ethan shook his head as he turned to leave.
"Let me out! I know who's doing this!"
With that cry, Ethan was dragged out of the cell, leaving the hungry prisoner alone.
…
As Ethan and his friends left the Vampire Council's lair, Ethan explained what he saw.
"Did you see his face though?"
"Yeah," Ethan said, shaking his head. "And it… it looked like…"
"Looked like what?" Ethan shook his head and headed towards his house.
"Follow me. I'll show you."
…
As the group entered Ethan's house, he made his way for a bookshelf in the living room. Scanning the shelves, he pulled a tattered book off and flipped through it.
"Is that…?" Sarah began, making Ethan nod as he continued to look through it.
Finally, he stopped and showed them a picture in the book.
"That's who I saw." The four other teens leaned forward, staring at the dark drawing in the book that shook fear to all their cores.
"Dracula."
…
He looked up as his name was spoken somewhere. It felt as if he had been struck at it.
People rarely spoke his name anymore. He looked at the large group that was forming in his warehouse; he heard their plans, how their hunger grew.
None of that was his concern though.
He was almost done in this town; what happened after he left would not be his problem.
As he watched the group of fledglings run out into the streets of the town, ready to cause havoc, he couldn't help but feel a tad guilty.
But he just did not like to kill his meals.
...
"We've got trouble," Ethan murmured, going to the window and peeking out.
"What do you mean?" Benny asked, coming up behind him and wrapping an arm around his waist. "There's nothing out there."
"The fledglings he's made… they've broken out from wherever he was keeping them. I can feel it."
"What do we do?"
"We've got to stop them before they attack any more innocent people."
"How many are there? Can you tell that o' mystical seer?" Erica asked with a snide attitude, making Ethan glare at her.
"A lot."
"Well, that sounds fun… But I don't care." Erica got up, ready to leave, when Ethan spoke.
"The more of you there are, the less food there is for you." Erica stopped and looked at him. "You know I'm right." She scowled but took her seat back by Sarah. "That's what I thought."
"So what do we do?"
"They need to be destroyed."
"Or," Benny started, looking at Ethan with hopeful eyes, "we could let the V.C. handle this one."
"Like they'll do anything," Sarah said, glaring at him. "I side with Ethan." Benny glared at her as she looked smugly at him. Benny bit his tongue and sat back as Ethan began to explain his plan.
…
Benny and Ethan stood out in the silent streets, listening, waiting; nothing came towards them, and all was silent, until a crackle came from Ethan's belt; pulling out his walkie-talkie, he heard Rory's voice over the sound.
"There's a lot of them dude…. Heading straight for you two."
"Thanks Ror. Keep an eye on them."
"Will do."
"Ready?" Ethan asked Benny, who was armed with his sun saber and a water gun, a stake strapped to his back.
"Killing vampires is what we do babe."
…
In a matter of minutes, they were swarmed; there were about 20 agile fledglings heading their way, and 2 of them.
"Shit," Benny muttered, making Ethan nod.
"Exactly what I was thinking."
"One."
"Two."
"Three." The two teens charged into the crowd that was swarming towards them, weapons drawn.
…
He stood on the roof a house, watching as two boys attacked all his creations. How could they, two simple children, defeat the spawn of him?
This irked him; he was the strongest vampire in all of history, and these fledglings had his venom powering them.
He was about to make his way to the humans when three vampires landed in front of him.
"Who are you?" he asked haughtily, making two of the three glare at him; the third just looked bored. "You are not any of the ones I have drank from; I am sure I would remember such remarkable beauty," he said, indicating Sarah and Erica.
"Nice try Drack-y," Sarah said, aiming a water gun at him, "But you're in our territory." He surveyed her and his eyes swept to canvas the ground below where the humans had destroyed most of them.
"You are with them?"
"We're friends."
"Mortals will only bring you down children," he said, eyes hard. "Heed my warning; sever the ties before they destroy you like they have them." With that, he jumped and disappeared into the night air. The three young vampires watched him before the joined Benny and Ethan, who had just finished destroying the last of the fledglings that had attacked them.
"Did you destroy him?"
"No." Ethan eyed them and waited for a response. When he didn't get one, he got angry.
"Why?!"
"He moved on to the next town dude. Besides, the dude is older than time… or something like that. You can't kill him." Ethan just grumbled and let himself be led away by Benny.
…
That night, Ethan and Benny were getting ready for bed when Benny asked a question.
"Why did it bother you so much that they didn't kill him?" Ethan was silent as he got into his bed. "E?"
"He reminded me of Jesse. The same 'don't-give-a-fuck-about-who-I-change' attitude. It just… irritated me that he turned all those innocent people into demons because he was hungry."
Benny thought about that as Ethan rested against him.
"Well, he's not coming back here, so let's not worry about it okay?"
"Fine. Besides, there's probably going to be a new horror on the loose any day now that we'll need to focus on. Dracula will be forgotten about."
"That's the spirit; and hey, look on the bright side. How many people can say Dracula attacked their hometown?" Ethan chuckled and closed his eyes. "I love you E."
"You too B." The two teens closed their eyes, not noticing a dark shape that flitted past the window.
No, that was another monster for another day.
…
So… there's that.
This one wasn't too good, I know.
I tried though!
Thanks for reading and see you soon.
