Chapter 5
Yay! The one good thing about Mondays.
Prep, studying, work, leavers, I'm about ready to cry myself to sleep. You know if I cried.
Here is the story it may not be fabulous but it should do I'm a bit off at the moment so if this isn't good I will either rewrite it or make it up to you in the next chapter.
Kim POV.
I couldn't wait to see Jack again.
Yes I know that I only saw him yesterday, but that was only for an hour or so and before that I hadn't seen him in months. But he didn't come.
Well at least at the start of the day. In the middle of math, Jack came into our class and just sat down like nothing had even happened. Like he had been here every single day for the past three months, like he hadn't just been late to class.
"Well then if we are all here! Mr Brewer can you answer the question on the board? Then go to the principal's office for being late to my CLASS!"
"Sure miss, but I just came from the principal's office, ya know re-enrolment."
"Oh ok Jack that is fine, would you be able to answer the question on the board for me?"
"Of course it's not that hard, Mia showed me. You just subtract the 7 from the 38 then multiply that by 'xy' then square the 275 add both the numbers together, carry the one, and then find the cube root of that. There's your answer"
"T-thank you Mr Brewer that was well explained and absolutely correct."
Everyone was equally surprised; well I was a little bit less surprised because I already knew that Jack was back, but math, math was never Jacks strong point.
"Hey, Jack? That was really cool you made it look so easy"
"It was easy Kim; you just need to learn the right way"
Wow, I wonder what else Jack learnt.
