Sorry to all of you who are waiting for my other stories, my finals start tomorrow and I really had no inspiration to write anything deceptive this story. I am aware it is most likely terrible, but please review :D
"But they're close enough to magic!" Uther yelled enraged that they had even considered the fact that he may have even considered the fact that Pokémon should be allowed in his kingdom.
"But they could help us," Arthur said persuasively, "that one saved my life."
Earlier that day they had been ambushed by a bunch a rouges attempting to kidnap the future king and hold him for ransom. Just before they had managed to succeed an Axew stepped in and kept the rouges from succeeding.
Uther sighed as he could see that his son was right, and these Pokémon would be amazing if he could add them into his army.
"Fine," Uther sighed, "but under the condition that Dragon types be reserved for only the Royal families and Psychic types be banned. They are far too close to magic for my liking."
Three years later
"Merlin!" Arthur yelled from the next room over. Merlin sighed and turned to his Pokémon Natu who was helping him polish Arthur's armor, "Come on, you know Arthur doesn't like to be kept waiting and remember, no Psychic type moves."
"Na-Natu" Natu called before hopping up onto Merlin's shoulder.
About a month after Uther decided to allow Pokémon Merlin found Natu stranded and hurt. Since no one knew for sure what type each Pokémon was, Merlin had been telling everyone Natu was just a flying type in order to keep it from getting executed.
"It took you long enough," Arthur said arrogantly, "I need to you go to Giaus and get an Oran Berry for Axew, he seems ill." Merlin nodded obediently and followed the hallway down to Giaus' room.
"Arthur needs an Oran Berry," Merlin called as he entered.
"In a minute," Giaus said not even looking up, "I've almost finished with this." Merlin looked over to Giaus' Bayleef holding ingredients for him and seemed to be just as intrigued by what was going on as Giaus.
"Arthur made it sound urgent..." Merlin persisted and Giaus finally gave in.
"Fine, yo know where they are."
Natu used psychic to levitate a few of them out of their basket and into Merlin's hand.
"Merlin you mustn't let Natu use its power! He could get caught."
Merlin sighed knowing exactly how Natu must feel about its psychic powers. Their inability to use their powers for fear they may be executed was what drew Merlin to Natu in the first place.
When Merlin returned to Arthur the minute he opened the door Arthur threw his empty water jug at Merlin, and it would have hit Natu if it hadn't have moved.
"What was that for?" Merlin whined before checking to ensure that Natu was okay.
"For being stupid. Now where are my berries?
Please review, the more reviews the more likely I am to continue one story than another. let me know if you liked it or want more~
