Previously on The Warrior: Champion of Hestia

Hades steps aside from the portal and out walks Percy Jackson. Percy immediately walks over and sucker punches James in the stomach "That is for giving yourself up when you were told not to"

Zeus demands "Who is this demigod?"

Percy turns to him smirking as he does so "I am Percy Jackson, spawn of Poseidon although I don't consider him my father"

Zeus turns to Poseidon "YOU BROKE THE OATH A SECOND TIME POSEIDON, NOW WE HAVE NO IDEA WHICH ONE OF YOUR SPAWNS IS THE TRUE CHILD OF PROPHECY"

James cuts in "Sorry to interrupt but as I said Hestia, Apollo and I think that Percy is the child of prophecy and to be honest if the god of prophecy has an idea who his prophecy is about then I think it's a good sign"

Artemis gasps drawing attention to her Zeus asks her "My daughter, what is wrong?"

Artemis turns to them, tears streaming down her face, James' eyes widen in understanding "The hunters are under attack aren't they Lady Artemis"

Artemis simple nods her head fearing what would come out of her

James replies "Well, then Hades open a portal to where the hunters are, I feel like doing my good deed for the day and plus I can try some new techniques out"

Hades snaps his fingers and the portal appears, before James can step through, Artemis grabs his arm to stop him and asks "Why would you do this after the way my hunters and I treated you?"

James sighs "I honestly don't hold it against you or your hunters as I understand why you all think that way and besides like I said it's my good deed for the day, now then I'd warn your hunters to retreat as there's gonna be a slaughter"

James pulls his arm out of Artemis' grasp as tendrils cover his arms before reforming into his claws as he jumps through the portal.

Coming out of the other side of the portal with the hunters behind him, James turns to face them "Has your Lady warned you to stay out of this?" James asks the lieutenant, she nods in reply "Good this won't take me that long"

James turns to the enemy and scans them to see what he's up against, he sees a few hellhounds, some demigods next to them, and a force of 10 mortal mercenaries carrying AK-47 assault rifles, James raises an eyebrow at the sight of the mercenaries however standing in front of all of them is what is obviously the leader however it is something that James had never seen in any of his studies of greek mythology, it looked humanoid but looked to made of some form of black steel bone like substance or at least it was something in bonelike armour.

James forward a few steps as the army leader does the same, James asks the leader "What are you?" staring into what could be considered the faceplate of the armour. The leader stares back before replying "I am known as Darkblade and as for what I am…" the faceplate retracts to reveal a heavily burned and scarred but still vaguely recognisable human face. "I was once a mortal human like you, however I became like this because of a meeting with a witch of some kind I am now something akin to Procrustus as we are both mortal turned monsters."

James stares into his eyes as if reading his very soul "Ah I see, while at first you were happy to live, now I can see in your eyes I can tell that all you want to do is die which must be the reason you joined this war, am I correct?"

Darkblade smiles softly "Indeed you are correct, it is impressive that you could tell just from looking in my eyes, it is true I do wish for the embrace of death but no one has been able to pierce my bone exterior to strike a blow."

James smirks "Well, if you allow me to take care of your little army, I can give you the battle and end you deserve that I can guarantee"

Darkblade just steps out of his way as if to say 'go ahead'

Nodding as a sign of thanks, James then sprint towards the mercenaries, when close to the first one, he slams his claws onto the ground to propel himself forward pouncing on the first merc like a leopard, slamming his claws into him bloodily ending his life, he quickly charges to the next merc and grabs his head and crushes it with his claw causing blood and brain matter to splatter onto the ground, James quickly looks and sees the other mercs scrambling and aiming their guns at him, he quickly grabs the two corpses and brings them in front of him just as bullets from the mercs rifles would have hit him. James closes his eyes waiting for the sound of the mercs empty ammo clips to hit the ground as they scramble in their pockets for a fresh clip, capitalizing on the time the mercs are wasting, James shoves his claws into the bodies and forcibly injects biomass into the corpses turning them into Biobombs (Head to the Prototype wiki for more information on what the biobomb is) and hurling them toward the mercs, upon contact the biobombs explode releasing tendrils that reach and grab large rocks and quickly pulls them inwards crushing the remaining mercs.

James losing patience in his own tactics quickly rams his claws into the ground causing spikes of biomass to quickly shoot up impaling the hellhounds and enemy demigods.

James turns to Darkblade "Now it is time for the rest you wish for"
