Sorry its taking so long oh by the way the point of view changes once or twice and that's signified by the character's name the pov point of view and I'll try to get more out sooner all so I'm glad and thank full for all of that continues reader. All so I apologies now if the spelling atrocious I'm working on it but work in progress. Ok without further adue I capped this as short as possible so here we go.
It was starting to get late in the day the inner world sun would soon turn dark, though not going as fast as they normally would but where making great time regardless as they head to the more mountainous region near the edge of arcana kingdom .igneous had explained to Renee's companions that he wanted to speak with their village they agreed to lead them, Renee was less then enthused about it as he rode in the wagon his arms behind his head.
When corona seen this it reminded her of hunter corona thought about for a moment before looking to her spider (he doesn't seem to like us dose he) she thought to her spider (he seems suspicious of igneous flame and myself) corona though for a moment before responding (in the case of igneous it's not surprising he usually not vary friendly with anyone unless ordered) knowing how nice he isn't to strangers. She was going to ask Venus a question when (corona) igneous said aloud looking at her (what is igneous?) she responded. When Venus pulled up next to flame he continued (it's about the boy), (you mean Renee) she corrected, (well then…you said that he conducted himself in battle with great skill) corona nodded in compliance (you said he was able to defeat invecteds at an equal pace to you which would require a form of training, though I find it hard to believe he is that skilled…further more assuming he did what you say I would say other things such as fear of you and Venus) corona was starting to feel bad for renee but before she could say any more (HOW EVER, the prince feels differently and until he says otherwise I must follow his words). After hearing this corona began to wonder who could have taught him.
Venus broke away from flame and started back on the other side of the path and walked in silence for a moment before speaking to corona "is something bothering you corona" Venus thought to corona "him oh nothing it's just…" "You're not convinced by what igneous said about him" "no not really he seemed far too comfortable fighting to be an amateur or poorly trained excepted by someone with skill" "agreed, but that does not dismiss what igneous said. Corona you should not think about it too much for now at least let us follow are orders" corona knew that Venus was right and that over thinking it would likely get her nowhere as there was no doubt a good explanation for his skill.
After an half an hour or so they stopped and broke camp for the night once finished corona sat on a stone on the edge of the camp before long Venus came up behind her. "are you all right corona" she asked politely corona turned her head to face her spider "yes its nothing to worry about" she thought back trying to avoid Venuses Prying. Corona then faced back in the opposite direction Venus was about to say something but was cut off "Venus nothing's wrong I'm just wondering" witch puzzled Venus upon hearing this "wondering what?" "just what might of…oh never mind, no reason to" "corona" Venus said in concern corona then got off the stone and faced her spider "I'm fine I just need some time to myself" after hearing witch Venus knew better then to argue knowing corona could just put her in to the maniacal "all right but let me know if need anything.
Corona had walk for around 10 minutes when came upon a small opening and decided rest there, she then walked to the only tree in the clearing and lay with her back against it. For several minutes she lay there not caring about anything and finally unwinding when something chough her attention. When she approached something seem off before she could ponder it a sound from behind alerted her and immediately fired an arrow at the sound, fully turning and faced what it was she was not surprised by what she saw a bug in armor pined to a tree. Before she could move a loud thud came behind her already having another arrow nocked on her string quickly turn to see a fallen person in armor not a bug but a person with a knife in his back looking about and saw Renee to her right, when Renee looked at her scrunched his face a little and spoke "you mind putting that thing away" he said referring to her bow witch was still loaded looking down immediately faced the bow to the ground, after witch Renee came in to the clearing and approached the man he a fell and she watched as he removed his knife from and sheathed at his waste witch sickened her as he had felled a man, just as she was about to ask what he was doing she noticed something on the man he felled she kneeled to get a better look and it was the same mark as the one on the bug from three days prior. Renee had taken notice a got chatty "the scouts normally travel in groups of three and as for your question yes anyone else's with that mark a connected" corona was surprised by his sounded statement and perception but what surprised her more is how much he seem to know "how do you know so much about them?" she asked quickly seeing to being the only sensible thing to do, upon witch Renee frowned and looked angry then turned and headed back to camp "what!" she said witch resulted in an evil look which surprised her even more he knew something but wasn't going to say anything and corona knew it warranted more research they she previously thought.
After this she had returned to camp and did not tell about what happened to Venus or igneous she assumed that Renee kept quiet to seeing as no one paid her or him any mind when she returned. Sometime later they had eaten and corona turned in as igneous insisted on taking the first watch, but she couldn't sleep as she kept wondering what Renee knew about that mark but what really bothered her is that a human would work with low lives like banished invectids and the though disgusted her. After some time of thinking she knew that Venus must have dozed off or she would have picked up on her thoughts by know. She then let her thoughts wonder about who or why they would attack a spider rider all people or any one for that matter, then thought struck her what is it about that group did they merely attack because of revenge or was it more. Eventually she got tired and slowly but surely sleep claimed her.
When morning broke corona woke to find Venus next to her trying wake her "I see your wake" Venus said gladly corona then noticed something happened to catch her eye it was igneous and he was talking to one of the two traveling with Renee if she remembered correctly his name was flux and could not help but over her there conversation. "I don't understand why don't you wake him is he not supposed to work with you" flux just shook his head "his job is merely to ward off any one who gets any ideas, besides he dosent know the first thing about trade exchange so heed only get in are way" when corona got up to get a better look she seen that Renee had fallen asleep inside the cart moments later igneous turned face corona "ah corona" he said pleased "igneous" she said in response "im glad your awake we will be moving out soon "alright" she said in confirmation. A short time later they left the clearing and went towards Renee's village from an unmarked road.
Renee pov
"Who are you" Renee he thought to himself as he looked at her, he know it was a girl because she was too small to be a boy for her height. But when he looked he couldn't make out her face. Thought it sounded crazy it was almost though she was glowing, but that was impossible wasn't it. Before he could make scenes of it though he saw someone come up from behind her and pulled something from there side and aim for her throat. "LOOK OUT"
Renee woke with a start his heart pounding with anxiety trying to get his Barings. "What's the matter not used to walking up outside of your own bed" a voice said vary care free and humored. Renee's vision soon cleared and upon seeing he was in the cart all emotions drained from his face and replaced by one of irritation as he looked at the driver of the cart. After a minute to think renee realized what had happened renee fell asleep inside the cart and when morning broke they packed up and moved without disturbing him which bugged him case now he had nothing to eat and that annoyed him. When he got he looked at flux he though Renee's irritation was amusing. After a while Renee looked out the back of the cart and seen the two riders behind looking at them and was displeased he never under 'I don't understand why people look up to them they never once helped my village or any of the other border town and villages before why start now' he thought to himself as he watched them talk, after a few corona noticed he was watching them as soon as he saw this he quickly turn away not caring for what she thought. Sitting with his back against a crate that was in the cart after a while he noticed a few familiar sight on the horizon "good at least know I won't have baby sit these two anymore, once we get back to the village I'm going to have to tell father my opinion of this duty" he thought to himself as he laid back and dozed off.
Hours later he was woken by flux as decided to take a brake by a river when he was getting out of the cart he overheard corona say this place reminded her of something but he paid it no mind he reached the water's edge and scooped up some water to drink and then pulled out his cantina once filled he placed it back on a pouch on his belt then sat back and watched the water. After a few minutes of staring at his reflection his mind began to wonder when suddenly he clenched his hand to his head in extreme pain.
Coronas pov
Corona was filling her cantina when she seen renee clutch his head and it was evident he was in pain by the look on his face, igneous also took notice and both he and corona began to approach him when both flux and the other younger man stopped them she could he shouting "stand aside" he said loudly by thi point the spiders had taken noticed and approached "don't you care for you comrade" corona said disgusted and worried she then heard flux who was stopping igneous "it's all right this happens now and then" corona then stopped cold "this happen normally" she though "corona what wrong" Venus said eagerly "I'm not quite sure" she responded, but after no more than ten seconds after she responded face softened some and he got up and walked back towards the kart witch suppressed both her igneous and the spiders and left corona guessing "what was that".
It had been several hours sense they left the river and had got moving again and corona was still bothered by what happened to Renee as Venus walked next to the cart corona seen the top of Renee's head from behind a crate. "is something the matter corona" Venus said min her mind "its nothing personal I'm just wondering what happened to Renee" "yes that was strange but what bothered me and flame is that he seemed to be fighting" corona thought for a moment before answering "considering how much pain he was in that isn't much of a surprise" "no no not that I mean it almost seemed like he was trying to fight something of" Venuses last statement struck her 'fighting what could he possibly be fighting' Venus must have heard he last segment case she responded "what I don't know but he seemed egger not to let it in". After hearing this corona thought spent the rest of their journey to the village thinking about it.
What could be the matter with Renee and what will happen when they reach the village? Find next time.
