Kohaku POV
I was buzzy giving instructions for the final touches to Anata's surprise. I was talking with Pain, Tobi, Kabuto, and Light, when they all just stared at something behind me.

"Can I help with anything?" Asked a voice was familiar. It startled me so I jumped and turned witch did not help my hart slowdown. Slender man had come up behind me. I stumbled back and fell landing on Kabuto. Blushing I tried to stand up. I got up too fast and got dizzy and fell back into Kabuto's lap. "Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you."

"No, it okay," I said with a hint of fear sill not your fault. I was lost in planning." A red face Kabuto helped me to my feet. I hope I didn't land on anything tender.

"Kohaku Chan should have seen her face." Tobi said laughed. Pain smacked Tobi upside the head and Tobi ran out. I was in thought already. I started pausing thinking hard.

"Pain, what's the States?!" I snapped.

Pain stood at attention. "All stage equipment is accounted for. Everything is ready and set up form when she arrives to Que. 4 and were all learning our parts. But if you're including the others in the setup how you are going to teach them their part, and were short in cast and Tec help." He rattled off the top of his head.

"Well I only need Oro and Dei to a part or two and the part they play is the opera script. And luckily I know of back up. You all have your discuses ready you'll need them. Are throws kittens?" I said.

"Yes." Said pain and slender.

"Kohaku Senpi! She's here!" Tobi cried.

"We're not ready! Um, Tobi, Pain, go meet them. Tobi you grab the others and bring them here to learn their part. Pain if she isn't already, blindfold her and walk around until I signal you with this." I handed him a walky-talky. I looked at the kittens not know or really caring who they were. "Take these and quiz her if she's as big of fan as she says she should be able to tell who they are in cat form. Ok dismissed." I then gave orders to slender and called Anata's closest friends.

Pain POV
Tobi and I ran off to meet the others. Anata was just stepping out of the car. She was blind folded. Tobi took the guys back to Kohaku. Anata must have sensed their absence. She was about to take off the blind fold. I stopped her. She grabbed my hand. She took into hers and felt all over it. She took out an ear bud.

"Not Deidara," she muttered throw a doctor mask that smelled of perfume. Her hands inched up my arm. She stopped when she felt the first of my chakra pressings. She felt it attentively then smiled. "None of the above, Kohaku must be nearby. Am I right 'Pain'?" She didn't ask. I put the first of the kittens, which was black, in her hands as I lead her inside. "New kitten," She asked for confirmation. I just gently pushed her lead her around the casino.

She began petting the black kitten. I was serene who it was by the fur color. But would she know by touch? She started at the nose. She felt the face, and ears. She didn't tack long. She kept going back to the nose. Not a minute later she made a guess. "Itachi,"

I took Itachi and gave her the ocean blue kitten. Again she felt the face and ears. "Kisame,"

I pulled out the walky-talky. "She guessed both in less than two minutes." I said in to it.

"Wow. Keep to the plan. I'll send someone to come and get them." was all that was said. I guided Anata all over. Itachi and Kisame were taken. And orders were given to include the upper floors in my wanderings. So I went to each floor one by one.

"Kohaku wasn't finished with my 'supers' party, was she?" Anata asked.

I didn't say anything. But at that moment the walky-talky beeped. I made our way to the theater of the casino.

Anata POV.

Pain stopped and put the ear buds in my ear and pushed me forward and around spun me now then made loops. Up stirs, down stairs and throw a door. He pulled out my ear buds, and mask. Then he walked away with me still blindfolded.

I tasted the air. The room I was smelled the same as the mask. I heard whispering I couldn't distinguish. I didn't what milieu I was in. If I took a step I might fall to my death or set off a trap. I was darker then before beneath the blindfold, which meant it would be dark without it.

"Hay, um you guys. I think it's about time you pop out and surprise now." I said. No answer. "Okay, you've had your fun. Now end this before it gets ugly. I'm not afraid to change on you guys." I warned.

"What does she mean by 'change'?" I headed someone. But it was quickly hushed.

"Hay! Shark bait! Tell me what's going on, Or else." I threatened

"Or else what?" said a different voice.

"We'll for I could go online and hack into your profile and say preacher boy and stitches, weasel face and shark bait, the artistic duo and four eyes and snake eye really are dating. Or tell everyone right now what really is under Tobi's mask or who pin cushion really is or give away weasel face's secrete." I listed off. I hear grumbles of anger and surprise.

"We told you already you're a hostage." Said Hindan

"Why?"

"So the tall guy will send us back." pain answered.

"Why? He won't care what you do to me. Not many would." I said solemnly.

"Well life sucks and then you die." said Itachi.

"It's supposed to be my birthday."

"Well then. Let's have someone sing a very special song." said pain.

The blindfold was removed and a spotlight switched on and Music started playing. All the guys and my friends started singing happy birthday songs one after another.

I was on the stage of the theater of the cosine Kohaku works at. Most everyone was in the crowed. All my friends and family from all over the country were all here. Both mom and dad's side aunts and uncles cousins and second cousins, even all my brothers and their family's came. I saw several cameras.

All the other little ones that were part of my fan club, a total of 6 or so boys, and 4 or more girls came running on stage and tackled me. I wasn't even famous yet to the world but I was popular with all the kids I meet and my family.

The place wasn't pact but it was crowded. Most were kids. Must be all of my fan club from the elementary schools I volunteer at. Kohaku must have went to all of them and made an anointment.

The last happy birth day song was the traditional happy birthday song. As that stuck up the lights dimmed and Kohaku came out with a large chocolate cake with 18 sparkling candles and in large green, pink, purple and yellow letters 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANATA.' The song ended.

"There are so many candles. Can I get some help?" I asked the smaller of the little ones. "Ready? 1…2…3!" We blow out the candles. And everyone cheered.

"Ok, you ready to open presents?" Kohaku asked. She clapped her hands. And a tall man I know was Slender in human form pull a large cart of wrapped gifts.

"I think we should hand out cake first." I said. As the cake was pasted out a large thrown like chair was carried out. I remembered my dad had made the chair for a play for a school he worked for. He made it look like the queen of hearts thrown from Allies in wonder land. Tobi carried me over and put me on the chair. Kabuto put a tiara on me.

I know who was who even thou they were in discus.

One by one, gift by gift, they all were opened, cards were read, and money was counted. Then finally all were opened. Then Kohaku took a microphone and said "now it's my turn to revile my gift." She turned to me "I have arranged for you to be in the spotlight like how you've always wanted."

"I thought I was in the spotlight." I said.

"True but you haven't perfumed or sung anything." She said. She turned to the crowed. "First Anata will be acting out a Sean from the Broadway production of the lion king. The madness of king scar, Anata as scar. Wait for a moment for us to get into position." She then grabbed me dragged me of stage.

She pulled out my Orochimaru cosplay. "Really? I don't seem too obsessed with him." I whispered.

"Oh I'm sure he knows. And everything is based on how you always act it out and the video and with who we have." She said.

She took off the tiara and put on my black wig, lion ears, a crown, clawed gloves and tow socks for my hands and feet, fangs, and finally a tail. I could morph to have the animal fetchers but just Kohaku and a close friend know of our transforming ability.

Kohaku told me to go sit in the thrown and when the lights are on me to begin. The stage was dark. Kabuto stood next to thrown. From what I could see he just had a blue shirt with wing sleeves. I wouldn't expect him to put on a beak.

The lights went on but were a bit dim. Then a spotlight hit me. I was resting my chin on a fist, elbow on the arm rest. My legs were crossed and I had a board pouting expression on my face.

Deidara & Tobi & Tori all ware a mix of biker, punk, rocker, Goth style get up. Both Deidara and Tori ware finger fewer gloves, for similar reason.

The light went out and cheers erupted. Kohaku came out and the spot light pointed on her. "Now a selection of seines will be performed from the production of the phantom of the opera. Which most of us have heard her sing now and then? It is one of her favorites." She announced.

As she was talking, one moment I was in the dark on stage the next I was a brightly lit dressing room with Mori one of my closest friends. She had long silver hair, not white, not some shade of gray, and silver. Her eyes were a blood red. She was the sweetest girl you would ever meet and a smile to match. It's a shame it doesn't come out too often when she is around strangers, she gets so shy. She is exactly like flutter shy. Mori even loves nature. It's why I named her that.

Oh, I should explain. When I was younger I had to spend time at the hospital. I was sick, forget was it was so long ago. The same day I got there she did to, but she had a different reason then me but she was still my roommate.

What happened was she was in a car accident and the sole survivor. She had lost all her memory. She didn't even remember her own name. We talked… well I talked. It was almost like she for how to speak. But after a day a small bird landed on the window one morning. I woke up to Mori talking to it. She told me she loved all animals and the forest.

"I have a name for you now. Your name is now Mori that means forest in Japanese." I had announced. She smiled we were friends ever sense. She was adopted but I never met her new parents.

"I'm so sorry I'm late" Mori said helping me in to a dress.

"Oh it's ok" I said smiling. "As long as your here now."

"There you're all dressed up. I'll go get Kohaku." She said. She took two steps and in barged Slender in his normal form. Mori squeaked. "Slim! What are you doing here?! And why aren't you in human form?! How can I explain this?! "She said really fast.

"Anata knows, and Kohaku too. Anata figured it out without even meeting me." Slender said coming in and calming Mori.

"Slim? You call Slender, Slim? Grate, now I'll never think of slim Jim snacks again. "I said. Then I pretended to have a delayed reaction. "Wait you know slender man?! And you never told me?!" I said sounding angry. Mori babbled nervously. "Ha ha ha, I knew you had some connection with him. I'm just pulling your leg. I knew you would tell me when you were ready." I said reassuring her. She sighed with relief.

"Did you guess why?" Mori asked.

"The name I gave you. First middle and last. When you got your memory bake, you didn't want to tell me too much. Then when I told you about my powers you weren't surprised and all that gung-ho about the others Tori's hands and Flare's secret too. And how you knew what my hook tail wanted and needed to get better. You are the Mori Ookami kami. You're the Forest wolf spirit. Again I knew you would tell us when you were ready." I said. She hugged me. I hugged her. Flair came in.

"I knew before I said my first hello the three of you were different. Its only 10% luck that's why we leprechauns have good fortune" she said in her thick Irish accent. "Anata you're needed on stage. As we rushed to the stage, her fiery red curly hair bounced.

I walked on stage Kohaku named the song. I walked over to her. "You know I'm not ready to sing that. I haven't been able to hit that high note." I whispered.

"Yes you will and without the necklace slender gave you. So give it." She said taking it off me. I when to my spot.

The music started and I cleared my mind and sang.

At the very end just before that high note, I took a deep breath. I've tried and tried practice and practice I just can't manage to hit it just right. Today was no different. My voice sounded stranded and it crooked. I stopped and ran off stage before the music ended.

Kohaku stopped me. "Listen they aren't booing. You missed one note so what they know how hard you've been practicing. Now go take a bow." She said pushing me back out. She was right some were even stood when I stumbled out.

Mori left I walked off stage. A mirror was wheeled out. And Orochimaru's voice sounded again.

Everyone that performed came bake on stage and took a bow I took like 5. Then Kohaku took a microphone and said. "If any of you would like to join, I had a party set up at my house. I have a pool and hot tube everything."

An hour later most of the younger group went to the party. The kid that couldn't drive and weren't in high school were first priority. The older kid's job was to tucker out the younger and make it easier for the parents in getting them home. In the meantime showing the parents an exultant selection of baby sitters.

Playing tag was Tori's job, ravening in the pool was Kisumu's job, and Tobi played hide and seek in the house which had 20 rooms to hide in. Kohaku and Light on Wii duty. Deidara and I were on Xbox patrol. Flare was giving makeovers. Mori was snack warden. Itachi, Orochimaru and Deidara (as he was playing Xbox) let some of the girls play with their long hair. L and Kabuto were in control of the board games. Sasori did 'magic' tricks and puppet shows. Slender man Pain and Hidan took some of the bigger kids paint ball gun capture the flag/ 8 pages. (I did a head count before and after. No one was killed or eaten or sacrificed.)

Before long all the sleepy kids and their parents went home. Now it was time for the real party to start. The pool slashing got bigger and the diving board was brought out. Wii games went from Mario and such to just dance and guitar hero. The more violent Xbox games were uncovered. The intensity of paint ball magnified. Board games Put away and out came spin the boatel. And the wine and beer pulled out of the fridge. But it was all under the control of slender man the only adult from this world that knew the drinking age. He was cool about it, everyone got some.

The paint ball group came back around 11:00. After that one by one people fell asleep. All of the ninja were drunk. L and Light were tipsy I had nothing but five good size glasses of wine and was only a bit tipsy. Most everyone was tipsy more or less. I'd say it was more or less your average responsible teenage party.

When I was for sure the only one awake, slim Jim slender took the last bottle of wine home as a think you gift from me. This was around 4:00 in the morning. I went around and with the help of my abilities I got everyone out of the odd uncomfortable positions they fell asleep in. Gave them all pillows and blankets. I helped some that woke up long enough into a bed or couch in one of the twenty rooms.

Kohaku is just like Itachi when it comes to planning a head. She got a big house for a large guest list. Around 5:00 I finally started to get sleepy. That didn't mean anything; I'd still be up for some time. So I went to my web accounts and checked out and made up dates.

Around 6:00 I started dozing, when someone took my hand and closed out of the Internet I grunted a dry complaint, but they picked me up and moments later I fell asleep.

Just before I was out like a light, I thought I heard a familiar voice that brought dreaded to my heart. "I haven't given you my gift yet. It's to die for." He said as the cold night hit my skin. As I dreamt I sat in the passenger seat of Don's horrid smelling pace of crap truck.
