To any and all readers –

Thank you so much for standing by this story. It's hard to believe that it was started over 8 years ago!

The original story changed a lot, and I don't just mean in storyline. My style changed a lot over the years and I'm happy it did as most of the chapters in this story suffered (Mostly through editing. Yeah, we'll go with that…).

Somewhat more recently, over the past two years I'd say, I've gotten an influx of favorites and reviews. I'm honored but also a bit confused. To explain, I wanted to revamp the story for those people but found it hard to generate the same love I had for it when looking back at how atrocious some (ok, a lot of) the writing was.

HOWEVER. This summer is yet another turning point on the twisting road that is my life and so I decided to give the story another look. I needed a fresh start, something to break away from the past and give the story new life.

To anyone who wants to read this jump started story, please go to my profile and click on the newest story "Ume no Hatori." I have up a prologue of sorts as well as a new chapter.

Thanks so much to everyone who stood by me and this story over the years. It's time for the sun to set on Hatori's Hidden Heartache and rise on Ume no Hatori.
