Don't let me fall chapter 13

Austin's p.o.v

I started to open my eyes, but I didn't want to. I was tired and my head felt like it's going to explode. I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a hospital room. It was cloudy outside and everything seemed pale and doll. I saw Ally asleep on a chair beside the bed and smiled lightly.

Then the door opened and I looked in it's direction and saw Dallas there.
" Oh good, you're awake! " he said and walked in " I see Ally's still asleep " He chuckled and handed me something. I looked at it and saw a card. I shoot him a confused look but opened it anyways. It was a get well soon card, and it was signed by half of the school. I smiled and put it down beside me.

" Yeah, the word about what happened spread really fast " He said " Your mum's fine by the way! "
" Right! Thanks " I said and looked at Ally, she seemed exhausted. Dallas noticed I was looking at her and spoke up " It's good she finally fell asleep " He said " She's been up all night refusing to close her eyes, I guess eventually she got so tired and sleep took over! "

I smiled " Yeah " I looked at him " What about my dad? "

" Gone! "

" What do you mean gone? He's not dead is he? "

" No, no he's not. After we brought you here I got a call from the police and they said that when they got there, he was gone, ran away. " Dallas said.
" So he's still somewhere out there? " I asked and he nodded. I sighed.
" But they're looking for him " Dallas said " I mean, I shoot him, he couldn't have gotten far anyways "
" Yeah.. So, why did you come there anyways? "

" Well I noticed the ambulance and I saw you and Ally going towards your place so I figured something happened " He said " And by the way, I am so sorry for what happened in the park "
" It's fine " I said and he nodded. Then I looked over at Ally. She was definitely tired. And it's all my fault, if I had only told her to stay by the school then... I don't know what but she almost died last night and I could never forgive myself if she did. It would haunt me until the end of my life and further! I looked closer at Ally and noticed she had bruises on her arms. My eyes opened wide and I looked at Dallas.

" Did anything else happen last night? Anything involving Ally? " I quickly spit out and sat up. He looked at me and shook his head.

" No, she didn't say anything else happened, but I wouldn't know, I was here all the time " He said.
" And she wasn't? " I asked him.
" No, but she was gone only for a few minutes "

" Why, where did she go? "

" She said she had to call her dad to tell him what happened. She took her phone and left, but when she got back she didn't have her phone with her... Wait, why do you wanna know? " He asked.
" Did you not notice the bruises on her arms! "
" I just assumed it was from something that happened last night " Dallas said and I shook my head.

" No, nobody hurt her physically last night! At least not at my house " I said and looked at Ally concerned.

" So what do you think happened to her? " Dallas asked and I shrugged.
" I wish I knew "

" Knew what? " I heard someone ask and turned to look at the door. Kira was standing there, wearing a mini skirt and a long sleeve shirt.
" Kira?! " Both Dallas and I yelled.
" Yeah it's me " She said looking around the room with a disqused face. She walked over to where Ally was sitting and looked at her than at me " Why is this here?! "

" This?! " I asked her getting mad " First of all, Kira Star, she is a person not an old rag you dispose of and second of all, she has a name! And her name is Ally! "

" Yeah, I know Ally Dorkson- "
" No! " I said " Kira, why are you here? "

" Well isn't it obvious? " She asked " I'm here to get you back " She said and in a blink of an eye pushed Ally of the chair. Ally landed on the floor and opened her eyes fully awake. She whined.

" Ally are you okay? " I asked her and jumped out of bed to help her up " Yeah, I'm fine- you're awake?! " She hugged me tight then quickly pulled away " Why'd you get up? You're suppose to rest " She said and pushed me back onto the bed. I chuckled and lied down.

" Sorry darling, I didn't realize you mind me helping you " I said and she blushed red.
" You know what I mean " She said and looked around. She noticed Kira and froze on the spot. I saw her swallow hard and shake lightly in fear. I immediately looked at Kira " Get out! "

" But Austy- "
" No! Get out " I said but when I saw she had no intention of leaving I turned to Dallas " Can you please get her out of here "

" Yeah! " He nodded " Come on Kira " He grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the room. She struggled but he was firm. He closed the door behind and I looked at Ally.

She let out a sigh of relief and sat down on the edge of the bed. I took her hand and she spoke up " Why was she here? "

" It doesn't matter! She's gone now "

" Right, so how are you feeling? " She asked me and I shrugged.
" I'm fine, I wanted to ask you something "
" What is it? "

I didn't really know how to smoothly just mentione I want to know what happened to her last night. Because, well, it's a touche theme. But I have to. If someone hurt her I need to know.

" Ally, what happened to you last night? " I asked her slowly.
" What do you mean what happened, you were there " She said and I sighed.
" That's not what I mean Ally " I said " I mean, what happened to you when you went to call your dad? "

She immediately stood up, frightened.

" Ally relax! " I said but she started pacing back and fourth.
" I can't tell you! " " Yes you can, you have to "

" No, Austin. I seriously can't tell you " She said and sat back down. I took her hand and looked directly in her eyes " Ally, I need you to tell me "

" Please don't make me "
" Ally- "
" Austin, please! "

I sighed and looked at her. She was on the edge of tears and I didn't want her to cry. So, I nodded my head and pulled her into my arms. She lied her head upon my chest and I stroke her hair lightly. I wanted-No! Needed her to tell me what was wrong but I knew it was too much for her. So, I decided to let it go.

A week later I arrived at school. As soon as I walked in, tunes of girls ran in my direction asking if I need help and saying how they wouldn't mind if they had to carry me to class. I told them I'm fine and that I have to go to the nurse first so I'd be late to class anyways. They seemed disappointed, but they let it go and walked away.

I walked over to Ally's locker and saw her there. She saw me and pulled me in a tight hug. I laughed and hugged back. Did she really miss me that much?

" Thank god you're out of that dreadful hospital! " She said and pulled away. I smiled at her and gave her a peck on the lips " I missed you " I said and continued a bit concerned " Why didn't you come visit me yesterday.. Or the day before that "

I saw her panic for a second before she came up with an answer " I had to... Work " She said, lightly unsure but then shook it off " Anyways, come on, we have to get you to the nurse ". She grabbed my hand and pulled me along to the nurse's office. The nurse gave me a hall pass, cause I was probably going to be late to most of my classes and I'll probably need to get some fresh air during the day. I asked her to give Ally one to but she didn't want to give it to her. She finally gave it to Ally when I told her I shouldn't be alone. After we left the office we headed to class. We were already late, having to argue with the nurse, so we didn't rush.

The classes went by surprisingly fast and finally it was lunch. I followed Ally out of the classroom and to her locker. She put away her books then closed her locker and looked at me.

" I'm gonna go to the field behind the school, you wanna come " She asked me.
" Yeah, of course! " I said and took her hand. I noticed kids around us whispering and looking or pointing towards us, but I ignored it and so did Ally. We walked through the school hall when out of nowhere somebody yelled my name. I turned around and saw Elliot and Trent.

" What do you two want?! " I asked them, slightly annoyed. The walked over to me and Ally and I felt Ally grab my hand tightly.
" Nothing, we just heard you wimped out when your dad attacked you. That true " Elliot asked, and Trent laughed behind him.

I just rolled my eyes and turned around. That really pissed them off. Trent turned me around and punched me in the gut, which hurt as hell considering I was shoot. Elliot grabbed Ally and slammed her against the lockers. I immediately grabbed him and pulled him back and I knelt down next to Ally and helped her up. " Are you okay? " I asked her and she nodded but then put her hand on the back of her head and shook it. I was mad, I turned to Elliot and Trent and glared at them " I don't know what the hell were you two up to " I said " But if I see you hurt or even touch Ally, you don't want to know what I'll do to you "

Then I turned back to Ally " Come on, I should get you to the nurse " I said but Ally protested " I'm fine ". But I could tell she wasn't. Not only did she hit her head but she seemed like she was about to faint any second now. " Ally? " I asked her worriedly as she grabbed on to my arm to keep her balance. The next I know, she's unconscious. I caught her before she could fall and picked her up bridal style.

I carried her to the nurse and put her down on the bed. " What happened?! " The nurse asked as she examined her. I didn't really reply, I was looking at Ally who was pale and I noticed she put on make up over her arms. What was she hiding? Bruises? Cuts? Who knows. I knew she won't tell me anyways. But maybe I could make her. No! If she want's to tell me she will. But what if it costs her, her life. What if somebody's really hurting her. No, no! Who would do that to her... Unless. No! It can't be! Could it be my dad. No! He's on the run. It'd be too risky to do something like this.. Right?!

" Mr. Moon! " I heard the nurse yell and looked at her.
" Yes? "
" I said: You should get to class " She said looking at me firmly.

" No way! " I said " I'm not leaving Ally on her own "
" Mr. Moon, I'm going to have to ask you to leave unless you have a medical emergency " She said and turned around to get something. Well might as well.

" Actually, mrs. Oswald, I don't feel so well " I started grabbing on to my stomach. I actually wasn't feeling well, the place where I got shot hurt cause of the punch I got. I heard the nurse sigh and turn to me " What's wrong? " She said obviously annoyed.

" I got punched in the same spot where I got shoot " I said and she mentioned for me to lie down on the bed next to Ally and I did. She told me to take off my shirt and lie back down when I do and left the room. I didn't mind taking off my shirt so I did. I looked at Ally again and saw her twitch. But I knew she wasn't going to wake up anytime soon.

I sat there for about ten minutes before I heard the nurse walk back in and I lied down. She walked over to me and I felt her cold hand touch my wounded spot. I shivered and bit my tongue to take in the pain.

" Does this hurt? " She asked coldly.

" Yes! " I said and lightly winced in pain.

" What about this? " She asked and moved her fingers pressing harder on my wounded skin. " Ow! Yes, it does! " I quickly said and she wrote it down the took some creme in her hand and rubbed it on my stomach. I winced in pain again as she did but got over it.

" There! " She said " I am going to leave now. I have to do something. Now, you, wait here until I return and don't move a muscle! You need to relax "

I rolled my eyes as she walked out locking the door, leaving me and Ally locked in.

She came back soon and told me to go get mine and Ally's stuff and come back there. Everybody else was in class so it was easy. I just took Ally's songbook and put it in her bag and went back to the nurse's office.

" Alright, ms. Dawson's father will come get you both, due to your mother being in the hospital " The nurse said and I picked up the unconscious Ally and left to wait in front of the school.
