Don't let me fall chapter 18

Austin's p.o.v

Today was the day. I had gotten out of the hospital and already spent a night at home and now it was time that I go to school again. I was fine, despite the few broken ribs that still hurt but the doctor said I'll be fine, and warned me not to go too extreme. To which I said that I'll try, he wasn't too convinced considering last time I got out of the hospital and was suppose to lay back I got into a fight.

So my mum made me breakfast. I could smell it as I got out of bed. Pancakes. Home made pancakes. The best! Not as good as Ally's but still the second best I've ever tasted. I quickly put on some jeans, a plain gray shirt and a sweatshirt over it. Who knows, Ally might forget hers and get cold later so I'll just give her mine. It happened before and I think that Ally wants to dress pretty today, cause it's her first day too since all this happened. I just know her too well. I even know what she's going to wear. She's going to put on her black skinny jeans and her black heels. Her top is going to be a new one which I have never seen before so She'll surprise me and see if I notice. Her hair is going to be curled up but for a change, I'm pretty sure she's going to put it up in a pony tale. She's never done that before but I bet she will. And in all the hurry to get to my house without being late she's going to forget her jacket and won't notice until she gets cold, but I won't tell her cause I know she loves to wear my clothes.

I checked myself out in the mirror, hey I look hot. I chuckled and messed up my hair before heading downstairs into the kitchen. I walked in and almost immediately went up to my mum and kissed her cheek. And don't you ever dare to judge me, I'm a mamma's boy, So what?! " Morning mum, that smells good " I said as I poured myself a glass of orange juice. She laughed, man how I missed that. Me and my mum spending the morning together before I left for school and she left to work. Those were the good old days.

I heard a knock on the door and smiled knowing it was Ally, I head my mum mutter something under her breath, something about grandchildren and young love. I put down my glass and shook my head as I walked into the living room. I went over to the door and opened it. I saw Ally standing there, dressed exactly like I described her. New top even. I smiled and pulled her into a hug.

" Morning Als " I said as I pulled away and let her in. " Morning Austin " She told me and walked into the kitchen. I quickly closed the door and ran after her yelling " Ally! Where are you going? I need my morning kiss! " I heard her giggle and she walked up to me crashing her lips on top of mine. I kissed back, enjoying every second of it. She wrapped her arms around my neck really getting into it, I placed my hands on her waist. I knew that this was slowly turning into a make out session.

I was even starting to get turned on but then I heard my mum clear her throat behind us and we pulled away. I still kept my face inches from her's and I saw that her eyes were closed. I smiled and pecked her lips once more before pulling away. I looked at my mum and I felt my cheeks getting red. I swallowed hard and sat down.

" Sorry mrs. Moon " I heard Ally apologize as she took a seat next to me. I shook my head and started to eat my pancakes. It was so strange, one moment they were there and the next they were gone. I looked around to see if somebody maybe took them and was messing with me, but no. " Where did my pancakes go? " I asked them and they giggled. " Austin, you ate them already " Ally told me and I frowned.

I looked at the clock " Hey Als, we better get going if we don't want to be late " I said and grabbed my car keys.

" Wow, my Austin worrying about getting to school on time. Ally you are a miracle worker " My mum said and I rolled my eyes.

" Come on Als " I said and took her hand as I led her out. She quickly said goodbye to my mum and grabbed her purse as I started to pull her outside.

I led her to my car and helped her get in like a gentleman, you know I opened the door for her and all that. It's strange how she's the only person to who I'm this nice to. Of course, she deserves it but other than that I think most other people just want attention. And by most other people I mean girls, those girls who won't leave me alone!

I got into the car and started driving toward the school. It was a short ride but that didn't matter Ally and I still had time to sing along to the radio. I turned the radio up way to loud so we couldn't hear any other sound, except for the music and our voices together united as we sang away.

We arrived at the school all to quickly. We had to get out of the car soon and face everybody. God knows what that's going to be like. I parked the car and turned off the engine. I looked over at Ally to see her staring right front at the park across the school.

" Austin? " She asked me.

" Yes Ally? "

" Are you afraid? "

" No.. "

She looked at me " Really? ". I nodded my head " Yes really. I can't be afraid because of you. If I'm scared then I can't be there for you, so no matter what happens, no matter how threaten or afraid you feel, just squeeze my hand as tight as you wish and I'll squeeze yours right back giving you a sing that I'm here and that I won't let anything happen to you. Okay? "

She smiled and nodded her head " Okay... thank you Austin " She told me and hugged me.

" No problem Als! "

We got out of the car and made our way toward the school front door. I was about to open it and go in but Ally stopped me. She looked at me with a look and I knew exactly what she meant. She didn't want to do this, but what else was there. I smiled lightly towards her and opened the door. The hallway immediately got quiet. I just rolled my eyes and pulled Ally as I started walking.

I felt all the eyes on us and I hated it, that's the worst part about all of this. I heard people whispering our names and telling their friends new probably made up gossip. I felt Ally squeeze my hand and as we walked further through the hall the squeeze got tighter. I squeezed her hand back letting her know that I was here and it didn't mean anything that they were spreading lies.

I got her to her locker and let her take out her books and everything she needed for class. I just leaned against her locker and waited for her to finish. Once she did I took her books and carried them to our first class like a good boyfriend should. I decided to cheer her up and started telling her jokes and she started laughing. People were staring but she didn't mind, she was enjoying this. And I was glad that she was.

We took our seats at the back of the classroom, and even through her protests Ally actually took a seat in the back with me.

" Is that actually the Ally Dawson. The nerd and ugly slut sitting with my Austin?! " I heard that annoying voice that I know too well call out. I felt my blood boiling. She dares to call Ally ugly and a dork. Well yeah she is a dork, but in the most adorable way. But ugly slut? How dare she!

I stood up and looked at her " What did you just call her? "

The class just froze to watch the scene that was unwrapping right in front of them, but I didn't care. I was going to put that girl in her place.

" An ugly slut? " She questioned " Come on Austin, we both know you're just trying to make me jealous honey "

I went over to her, sending her the deepest glare as I did " Kira, let me make myself clear. How do I put this, um, Fuck off! We broke up for a reason, and I hate you for a reason. I can't believe you have the guts to call Ally ugly, do even look at your self in the mirror before you go out? And yeah she's a dork, but she's the most adorkable dork- "

" -Um, I don't think that's a word- " Some dude called out and the room started to fill with whispers

" Don't interrupt me " I warned and everybody quieted down " Where was I? Oh, right. You dare to call Ally a slut. I bet there is not one guy in this classroom who you haven't at least flirted with. And if I ever hear you or anybody tell Ally something or hurt her in any way, they will have to respond to me! Nobody touches a hair on that girl's head! " I looked around " Got it? "

Everybody in the classroom started to nod their heads and I proudly looked at Ally, who was giving me a terrified look.

" Austin! Your first day and you're already making trouble. I'll let it slide this once but it better not happen again " Our teacher said as she walked in.

" Right " I said and took a seat next to Ally. I looked at her but she let out a sigh and started to write down something on a small piece of paper. I watched as she did. I wonder if she's mad about what I just did. I mean, I was just standing up for her. I don't want anybody messing with my girl.

Ally looked at me and passed me a note. I just gave her a confused look and she shook her head. She doesn't want to talk to me during class, of course, once a goody two shoes, always a goody two shoes.

I shook my head and looked down at the note, then at Ally. Maybe I did do something wrong. I slowly opened the note and let out a sigh of relief as I read it.

-You didn't have to do that, it's our first day, I don't want you to get in trouble already. But still thanks xx

I smiled and quickly grabbed a pencil and started to write down..

-Ally you and I both know somebody had to say it, she would have been messing with you till the end of the school year. So no need to thank me, I'd do it any day for you darling

I passed her the note and watched as she read it, leaving her smile to spread. It made me be happy that she was happy. You get what I mean? I hope you do, but it's just how when I see her smile I smile, when she's happy I can't help by feel the same. It's like everything she feels, I feel. It's probably a soul mate thing. Yes, I believe she's my soul mate.

She passed the note back and shook her head

-Awww, I love you Austin

- I love you too Als, forever and always dear, forever and always...

I gave her the note and she smiled before putting it in her purse. She looked over at me, smiling and shaking her head.

" Come on Ally, hurry up " I said as I eagerly waited for her to put away all of her stuff in her locker. We had gym class next and Ally was taking forever to put away her things in her locker.

I wanted her to hurry up though, cause gym was my favourite class. It was the only class where I could actually enjoy myself by playing basketball, soccer, volleyball or some other sport. I love exercise, it's my way of expressing myself. It's actually one of the only classes which I'm not failing. Total opposite of me, Ally hates gym, and it's the only class in which she doesn't get an A+ in. The teacher likes her though, cause she helps out after class to clean it all up so he gives her extra points for that, but other than that, yeah Ally hates that class. I wonder why doesn't she just take another class instead.

" Ally, will you be done till the end of the school year or will we have to repeat senior year? " I asked and that got her moving.

She quickly pulled out her gym clothes and slammed her locker. She looked at me and I saw her panicking " I'm done, I'm done. We won't have to repeat senior year. I am not missing graduation! " She quickly spit out and I chuckled.

" You do realise I was just jokin- you know what? Never mind. Lets just go " I took her hand into mine and pulled her with me.

I'm not sure if she noticed that I was just messing with her but for a strate A student she took it pretty seriously. It might be the fact that the joke was about not finishing school or it might be how I was the person who said it. Cause lets face it, she makes me act different towards her, so it might work the other way around too.

I felt her kiss my cheek before going to change in the girl's locker room. I watched as the door closed and shook my head while letting a chuckle escape my lips. I already changed before meeting her by her locker, cause I knew she's gonna take forever. She may be always on time but when it comes to gym, I know she's gonna try to make up an excuse to get out of it. I won't let her though, I know how much it means to her to get a good grade and by skipping she won't accomplish anything and I want to push her forward. I want her to be the best she can be, I know she wants that too. She even wants that for me, but I think both she and I know that's not going to work.

I don't even have the heart to tell her that I'm not going to graduate with her either. She's so excited for it and I just don't know how to let her know that I'm staying behind. I want to ask for her help, I really do, but if she's helping me then she won't be able to prepare herself for it and I want her to be happy and get into a good college. It won't be the same here without her though, I know, but I'll do what I have to do to push her forward.

" Okay, lets go... " Ally said as she walked out of the locker room. She seemed down, well more like not in the mood for gym but I just chuckled and did the unexpected.

I lifted her and trew her over my shoulder and ran outside to the gym court. Everybody was looking at us and I saw a few girls giggling at us and shaking their heads. But it wasn't the mocking kind, it was the kind when you're messing around and everybody's enjoying it. Well Ally wasn't enjoying it... Or was she. I couldn't tell, she was screaming and laughing both at once.

" Austin... " She screamed at me while giggling " Put me down "

" Nope " I said as I went over to the line and waited for the teacher to come. I felt her kicking my back with her weak hands, of course, but I just laughed at it. " I should really get you to work out with me more Als, we need to get some strength into those arms of yours " I told her and she stopped kicking.

" Noo... " She whined and I shook my head.

Nobody was even paying attention to us which was good considering the whole school was telling lies how I forced Ally into sleeping with me and now she doesn't want to leave my side cause it was good or some stupid shit like that. I bet I know who started those rumors too.

The teacher walked out checking who was here. Once he reached Ally's name he looked at the line and raised his eyebrows.

" Mr. Moon would you mind putting mrs. Dawson down " He told me and I bit my lip.

" Well I wouldn't mind, but you see Ally's really lazy and doesn't feel like standing so that's why I'm carrying her " I said and I heard Ally gasp.

" Austin! If you don't put me down in ten seconds I will never talk to you again " She screamed and I froze. Never talking to Ally again would kill me! She wasn't serious but then again this is Ally we're talking about so you never know. " 5, 6, 7... " She was already there and I panicked. " ..9- " She said and breathed in to say ten but I quickly put her down and she huffed while wiping off invisible dust off herself.

The rest of the students just laughed at us and most shook their heads. The teacher kept on calling out names of the rest 30 students in this class. After my name was called out I sat down on the wall behind us and so did Ally.

" Um... Hey " A girl walked up to us shyly. I shared a confused look with Ally and then looked back at the girl with my eyebrows raised " Yes? "

" I'm new here and I was hanging out with this group of girls, who said that I won't make it a day here if I don't do something for them " She said.

Well now I'm confused.

" Okay, so what does this have to do with us? " I questioned and she bit her lip.

" They said to tell you they think you're hot and they want to sleep with you " She put her hands up to cover her face " Please don't hit me "

I exchanged a look with Ally before taking her hands and putting them down and looked at her " Why would I hit you? "

" They said you might " She said and she was shivering as she did. She glanced back at her friends and I looked at where she was looking at. A group of girls waved towards me while giggling and blushing. I recognised a few girls that were no good and rolled my eyes at them. I looked at the girl standing in front of me, frowning.

Ugh, I really don't want to do the right thing here, but I feel bad for this girl. Besides Ally's right next to me and she won't let me do the wrong thing. I let out a sigh before speaking up " Why don't you just hang out with us instead of going back to them, I have a feeling they might be using you ". She glanced back at the girls then looked at me.

" Are you sure it's okay if I stay with you guys? " She asked, quite unsure.

" Of course, it's better than that those girls use you. They're just jerks " Ally said and I laughed " Ally you can use the term bitches, we all know what you were thinking "

She looked at me and shook her head no " That's a mean thing to say ". I just chuckled and looked at the other girl in front of us.

" So what's your name? "

" Oh, I'm Melody " She said and I smiled. Melody, it fitted her. I looked a bit closer at her to see what she looked like. She had long blond hair and the tips were blue, it looked really cute actually. Her eyes were blue in the middle but as they spreaded it turned into an alike lime green color. I skipped glancing at her lips, not to give her the wrong idea cause I do have a girlfriend, so I just looked at her outfit. She had a great fashion sence, she was dressed in dress actually. The dress was light blue and ended just above her knees. Why is she wearing a dress for gym class?!

" Um, why are you wearing a dress? " I asked her.

" Oh, I didn't know which classes I was going to have since it's my first day and I didn't bring any clothes for gym yet, so I'm stuck like this " She said.

" Really? " Ally asked " Well if we'd talked before I would have given you my gym clothes since I really didn't want to come to this class "

" Ally! " I looked at her and sent her a warning look " I would have forced you one way or another, I know how much your grade means to you "

She let out a sigh and nodded her head. I smiled and casually placed my arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer. She smiled as she leaned on me. I heard people laughing and I looked up to see a group of kids laughing at each other and doing silly things. I wonder why the teacher, mr. Burns, hasn't given us something to do yet. I looked at his spot and saw it was empty, well he probably went to do something inside then. Who cares anyways. I looked back at the other students in this class and they were all doing something different, makes you wonder who rules this school. It was Ally and I's plan to be the ones who everybody will listen to, but that kinda went off track. We're back now though and we're ready to take over. I looked at Melody. She's new, she probably heard how much of an influence Ally and I had on this school. Maybe she'll be willing to spill some stuff she's heard about us.

" Hey Mel, can I ask you something " I spoke up, interrupting the conversation she and Ally were heaving.

" Sure " She said smiling and looking towards me.

" So, since you're new here you must have heard loads of gossip " I said and she nodded her head. " A bit too much for my taste " She whispered loud enough for Ally and I to hear. I chuckled and nodded my head, implying that I knew what she meant, cause lets face it. All these people want is to look into other people's lives and I don't want that, but it's either joining them or becoming the person they talk about and who's life their interested in. And that's what Ally and I want.

" Well what are they saying about me and Ally? " I asked

" Loads of stuff, you guys are their main topic. There are some fake stories how you forced Ally into sleeping with you, but everybody know's it's fake though. Other stories are how you've had a hard few weeks and need to be left alone. They're also calling you the cutest and most realistic couple of the school, but at the same time the fake, unrealistic couple who's relationship is a failior. There's a huge fight about who should get to be prom king and queen, you two or Kira and her boyfriend, whoever wins are basically the most popular and powerful couple and people of the school " She finished and I looked at Ally.

" Are you thinking what I'm thinking? "

The strange thing is I actually thought I'd be done with the story by chapter 15 or something, but I got a few more ideas about it so what the heck, if you guys want me to continue I will. The story's not complete anyways. Well, please review and tell me what you think. Xx
