Chapter 15- Reuniting with Old Friends... and Enemies
A/N: Thanks for reading. Please review.
[one month later]
Today was the day after the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Today was also the day Liz and Randy would start traveling together as Randy worked with WWE. He had never really wanted a gaudy tour bus, but he decided that he would get one so that Liz could be as comfortable as possible. It had taken about a month to get everything situated with the purchase of the RV. He had to get WWE to agree to him having one; he had to find a suitable driver without an arrest record or traffic violations; he had to sort out each specification for the bus; whether or not he wanted a real stove and oven in it; whether or not he wanted a set of bunks in addition to a bedroom; and a lot more. It was complicated, but Randy got it all done so that he and Liz could be together, mobile, and safe.
He had just finished showing Liz around the huge bus.
"So, what do you think?" he asked his girlfriend.
She smiled. "This is amazing, babe! A real stove and everything!" she said with excitement.
Randy laughed at how excited she was. "Yeah, I figured you would want to cook so..." he said.
Liz smiled and stepped closer to her boyfriend. "I love that you went through all of this just for me," she said as she hugged him.
He kissed her forehead. "Anything for you, baby, you know that," he said.
Liz smiled took a seat on the black sofa that was bolted to the floor of the bus. She rummaged through her purse and pulled out the sonogram from the doctors visit she and Randy had earlier that day.
Randy sat next to her and wrapped his arm around her waist. "He's getting so big," he said looking at the picture.
She nodded. "I know. It's amazing how fast he's growing. I can't believe that he's already weighs one pound. That's-" She stopped and put her hand to her belly. She gasped.
Randy frowned. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" he asked.
"He just kicked!" she said.
Randy smiled but he hesitated.
Liz offered a kind smile. "Do you want to feel it?" she asked.
He nodded shyly; he didn't want to seem too intrigued because he didn't think he had the right to grow close to a baby that wasn't even his. Liz took his hand and placed it on her belly. After a few seconds, Randy gasped and focused in on Liz's belly for more concentration. "Wow," he said under his breath.
"I know, right?" she said.
Randy looked up at Liz's face. Her hazel eyes were bright and sparkling, her hair was pulled into a bun but tiny wisps of hair cascaded around her face. She didn't have on any make up and she was the most beautiful woman Randy had ever seen.
He smiled. "God, you're beautiful," he said softly.
Liz smiled softly. "Really?" she asked.
"Yes, really. Why would you even ask," Randy asked with a confused frown.
Liz sighed. "I'm so fat and I look like crap," she said sadly.
"You're 5 and a half months pregnant, Lizard. You are not fat; there is a difference. And you don't look like crap. I promise that you are gorgeous. I can't stop staring at you when I see you. Now that I'll see you everyday, I don't think I'll be able to keep my eyes off of you," he reassured her.
She smiled but looked down at her hands in her lap.
"Look at me, Liz," Randy said softly yet sternly.
Liz slowly met Randy's eyes with her own. "I love you and even if you do get fat, remember that you've seen me with braces," he said.
She laughed loudly at the memory of seeing pictures of 13 year old Randy with a mouth full of metal.
"There's that smile I love," he said right before kissing her deeply.
She moaned into the kiss and wrapped her arms around Randy's neck. Randy gently laid her on her back on the couch. He carefully settled in between her legs before he kissed at nipped at her neck. He was pleasantly surprised to taste how sweet her skin was. He found a sweeter spot when Liz moaned loudly and arched her back. Part of Liz's arousal had come from the scratching of Randy's beard on her smooth skin. Randy smiled on her skin; he was proud to have found such a tender spot.
He focused on that area until Liz squirmed beneath him. He then moved lower on her body; licking and sucking at her hips and belly. Simultaneously, he removed her bra with one hand. With his tongue, Randy made a trail from her bellybutton to her left nipple. He lapped at it and pulled it with his teeth. He did the same with her right nipple.
"Randy!" Liz moaned breathlessly. "Please!" she begged. He nodded and got up from the couch. He rummaged through one of his bags and went back to the couch with a condom. He wiggled out of his boxers and positioned himself between her legs. He hooked his fingers on her panties and pulled them down; he was shocked to see that they were soaked. He opened the thin, square packet and rolled the condom onto his leaking member.
He leaned down and kissed Liz's lips as he plunged into her; lubricant wasn't needed since she had already provided it. Randy's strokes were slow and smooth but Liz wanted more. "Faster," she moaned. "You sure?" he asked with a smirk. Without thinking about the way he asked, Liz nodded.
All of a sudden, Randy picked up speed; more speed that Liz was hoping for. "Shiiiiit!" she moaned. "ohmygodohmygodohmygod!" she started screaming; screeching, even. Randy knew Liz was getting too loud so he muffled her moans and screams with his own mouth as he kissed her lips.
She wrapped her legs around Randy's body forcing him deeper inside her. She clawed and scratched at his back. He moaned as he got closer to his climax. As his strokes got sloppy, Randy nibbled at Liz's sweet spot on her neck that he found earlier. It sent her over the edge. "Just like that, baby. Right there. I'm coming!" she moaned. "Me too, babe." Randy said. He groaned as he filled the condom with his hot seed.
Liz's body convulsed beneath his as she was lifted high in ecstasy; she arched her back as her eyes rolled back. She took a deep, shaky breath when Randy pulled out; he though out the condom and returned to the couch.
He kissed her down her cheek and neck; Liz moaned at the contact of his lips and tongue on her skin.
"That was something," she said with a smile.
Randy smiled. "Amazing," he said before he pecked her lips once more. Randy pulled Liz close to him; her back was to his chest. He kissed her shoulder and smiled.
"I've been thinking about some names," Liz said randomly.
"Really? What are they?" Randy asked.
Liz sighed. "I wanted to talk to you about it. I was hoping that he could have part of your name since you'd be like a father to him," she said. "But, that's if you want to be in his life. You don't have to be,"
Randy laughed. "Of course I want to be in the little guy's life. I couldn't see myself without you and him. Now, what are those names you were thinking about?" he asked.
She smiled and faced him. "I love you so much, Randy," she said.
He frowned. "I love you, too, babe," he said. He was slightly confused as to why she said it like that.
Liz saw that he was confused; she smiled. "I just think it's amazing that you're so willing to be with me even though I'm having Wade's baby. I don't know anybody who would do that," she said. "I love that you love me so much, Randy," she said.
He smiled and kissed her nose. "He may be Wade's son, but he'll never have contact with Wade. Neither will you. As far as I'm concerned, that baby boy is all you," he said. "Now. Are you going to tell me about some of the names you picked out?" he asked.
Liz chuckled. "Well, I want him to have part of your name. So I was hoping you would be okay with his middle name being Keith or even Randal," she said.
Randy smiled. "I would love that," he said. "What about his first name?"
"I want his first name to have some sort of meaning. I just don't know what I want it to mean. Like, I want him to be embarrassed of his name, but I also want him to have a professional name for when he gets older," she said.
Randy nodded. "I can understand that. You have about 4 months left to think about it," he said.
"Yeah, I know. I never thought naming a baby would be so stressful," she said.
He laughed. "I'm sure you'll think of something, babe. Until then, we have to get a shower and get ready for Raw," he said.
She smiled. "You can take the shower first. I need to take a little nap; you wore me out," she said.
Randy tried not to smile arrogantly, but he couldn't help it. Liz pecked the smirk and moved so that he could go to the shower. Almost as soon as Randy was gone, she had fallen asleep. Randy woke her up when he was dressed after his shower.
"Five more minutes," she mumbled.
He chuckled. "You don't have to come tonight if you're too tired," he said.
Liz sat up sleepily. "No. I want to go. Give me fifteen minutes to get a shower and get dressed," she said. Randy nodded and leaned up the couch with a wet rag.
Fifteen minutes later, Liz was dressed in Jessica Simpson Long Sleeve Pointelle Maternity Sweater, Jessica Simpson Secret Fit Belly® 5 Pocket Skinny Leg Maternity Jeans, Jessica Simpson Open Front Faux Leather Maternity Jacket, and black Jessica Simpson Clauds Mid Heel Ankle Boots.
"Ready?" Randy asked.
Liz nodded as she pulled on her jacket to zip it up a little. "Yeah. Let's go," she said.
They walked off the bus and headed towards the arena. Before they made it inside, Liz heard a familiar voice.
"Lizzy!"
She quickly turned her head in the direction of the voice. "Phil!" she yelled.
Randy smiled and watched as Liz hugged Punk.
"It's been a while, Lizzy. Where've you been?" he asked.
She shrugged. "I had to take care of some personal stuff, but I'm here, now," she said.
Phil smiled and glanced at her belly. "Well, I'm glad you're back. They're letting Eva Marie do the interviews backstage, now," he said.
Liz gasped. "What?!" she asked almost agrily.
"Yeah. Eva Marie. I'm surprised they haven't fired her yet. She has fucked up so many peoples' names. It's pathetic," he said.
Liz sighed. "I wish I could come back to work, but I really need to take time for myself," she said.
Punk nodded. "I totally understand. I just hope you won't forget about us completely," he said.
"I won't Phil. I miss y'all so much. I'm just visiting tonight, though; I miss the action. Speaking of, I need to go find that boyfriend of mine," she said when she noticed Randy had already walked off.
Punk frowned. "Boyfriend?" he asked.
Liz nodded. "Yeah. I finally gave Randy a chance. And I'm glad I did," she said.
He laughed. "It's about time! You were dragging that poor boy through the mud," he said.
Liz laughed. "I was not!" she said jokingly as she went to find Randy.
As she walked, Liz and Phil had a regular conversation. She was secretly glad that Punk didn't ask about her pregnancy. It was clear that Punk understood boundaries. When she found Randy in catering, Punk excused himself to give Randy and Liz a bit of privacy.
"Thank you," she said to Randy as she kissed his cheek.
He frowned. "For what?" he asked.
Liz chuckled. "You know for what," she said.
Randy smirked proudly. "Punk is growing on me, you know," he said.
She gasped. "Really? Who are you and what have you done with my asshole of a boyfriend?" she asked playfully.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah," he said.
Liz laughed and stole piece of food from his plate. "So, what's going on tonight," she asked.
"Well," Randy started as he swallowed a bit of food. "I have a celebration segment and a match against one of The Shield guys," he said.
Liz nodded. "You don't know which one?" she asked.
"Nope," Randy answered simply.
Liz was about to speak again, but she was interrupted.
"Hey, Liz!" she heard from behind her. She saw Randy's negative reaction to the woman; Liz knew exactly who she was.
"Hello, Eva," she said politely as the redhead sat next to Randy.
"I haven't seen you since you claimed Wade raped you," she said.
Randy sighed at Eva Marie's blatant disrespect. "What do you want?" he asked her.
Eva shrugged. "Nothing. I just wanted to stop by and say hello to your friend here. I also wanted to see if you wanted to fool around later?"
Liz eyed Randy to watch his reaction; she noticed how Eva referred to her as Randy's friend as if he hadn't already told her that he and Liz were officially a couple.
In Liz's eyes, Randy didn't respond fast enough; so she answered for him.
"I don't know if you're too dense to notice, Eva, but he's taken. So I suggest you find somebody else to whore around with," she said.
Eva frowned. "But you told me I could—"
"I know what I told you like six months ago, sweetheart. But right now, I'm telling you to keep your hands off my man," she said.
The redhead smirked. "Oh. I didn't know you two were an item. I guess that was something Randy forgot to mention last Tuesday. But then again, I've always had ways of making men forget their own names. I can see how he couldn't remember to mention you," she said before leaving.
Randy took a deep breath. He knew what was coming; he knew his girlfriend was going to be upset. Liz looked at him until she could figure out what to say.
She played with her bracelet as she thought. "I think I'm just going to go back to the RV," Liz finally said as she stood.
Randy called after her. "Can I explain, Liz?" he asked.
She shook her head. "We'll talk later, Randy. I love you," she said as she walked off.
Randy was left at the table, confused. Usually, Liz would want to address a situation immediately. He found it strange that she didn't even seem upset about what Eva Marie said. He shook his head and cleared his thoughts so he could get ready for the show.
As Liz was leaving, she crossed paths with John. She smiled when she saw him.
"Whoa! Look who finally decided to show her face!" he said jokingly.
Liz smiled and hugged him. "It's good to see you, too, John," she said.
He chuckled. "I'm assuming you're here with your pal Randy," he said.
She sighed at John's reference to her and Randy as just friends. "Can I talk to you for a second?" she asked.
John frowned. "Is everything okay?" he asked.
"I don't know," she said with a shrug. "I just want to talk to you about Randy. Y'all have been buddies for years. You know him just as well as I do," she said.
He nodded. "Yeah. Let's go to my dressing room; we can talk there," he said. Liz followed him.
When they were alone, John closed and locked the dressing room's door.
"So what did you want to talk about?" he asked.
Liz took a deep breath. "Before I say anything, I'm just going to assume that Randy hasn't told you that we've been dating for a few weeks," she said.
John's eyes widened in surprise.
Liz nodded. "I thought so," she said. "It just bothers me that he hasn't told anybody. I saw Phil earlier and he was shocked to know that Randy and I are together. I didn't think anything about it because he and Randy aren't exactly friends. Then later on, Eva Marie showed up and asked him if he wanted to fool around after the show as if she didn't even know he was in a relationship,"
John thought for a minute. "Well, I can tell you that this is my first time hearing about the two of you dating. I don't mean this to be funny, but do you expect him to announce it from the rooftops?" he asked.
"No, it's just that he had tried so hard to get me to go out with him and now that we're actually in a relationship, it's like he didn't want anyone to know. Hell, you're one of his best friends and you didn't even know," she said.
John nodded as he listened to Liz's concerns. "Listen. I think you have a right to be worried about it, but I can't tell you what's going on with him; it's just not my place. But I don't want you to be upset with him for not telling people about the two of you. Just talk to him and let him explain. I think you'll find that he thought it was best to keep your relationship a secret," he said.
"Okay," she said. "But what about the stuff Eva Marie said about them fooling around?" she asked.
John raised his hands in defense. "I don't know anything about that," he said.
She sniffled as she started to cry.
John empathized with her. "He loves you, Liz. He really does. If there's anything going on with Eva Marie, and I doubt there is, you two will work it out. Just hear him out," he said.
Liz wiped the tears that had fallen. "Thanks, John. I'll call you later," she said as she stood from the couch. John stood as well and hugged her.
"Everything is going to be okay, Liz. Just talk to him," he suggested again.
She nodded and walked out of the locker room. Liz left the arena and made her way to Randy's RV where she washed the make-up off her face and changed into some pajamas. She settled underneath the bed sheets and cried herself to sleep.
