Jenny's POV

I was finally done with the food about an hour later. I set the plates down on the cafeteria table. Thank God that the one with the hot sauce didn't look any different.

"Guys! Food! I'm gonna head off to the bathroom!" I called out before going out of the cafeteria on to the bathroom. It wasn't a lie; I really did need to go to the bathroom.

Patricia's POV

"Guys! Food! I'm gonna head off to the bathroom!" I heard Jenny call out. We rushed towards the table where she had set down the food. I was worried actually. She really could have put something in the food. I looked at the plates one by one; Jenny had made spaghetti. Though one looked slightly redder than the rest. I quickly took the seat across from it, sitting next to Mara. Leaving Jerome to sit with the redder plate which I was really sure was meant for me. Sorry Jerome, but I'd rather it be you than me. I still needed to get revenge on him anyway… He had embarrassed me and Joy a few years back, and I still hadn't gotten the chance to get back at him. Don't even try to ask what happened. You wouldn't want to know and I sure as heck do not want t relive it.

We all took a bite of the spaghetti and I have to admit, Jenny's cooking was like Heaven served on a plate. Though I couldn't say that for Jerome. His face was turning red and he started panting.

"Jerome? Are you okay?" Mara asked as he started coughing.

"Is feeling like someone has set your insides on fire the definition of okay?" was his reply.

"No…" Eddie said, receiving a glare from Jerome.

"Then no, I'm not okay. In fact, I think I'm on fire. Am I?"

"Um no…" I answered.

"Rhetorical," Jerome coughed out. "Help… My insides… are burning…"

Just as he finished that sentence, Jenny appeared by the doorway.

"Jenny! What did you put in here?!" Mara called out as Jenny rushed over.

"The usual stuff; tomato sauce, meatballs, pasta, cheese, onions, red pepper, black pepper, garlic-"

"Wait, did you say garlic?" Jerome asked.

"Yeah, why?" Jenny asked.

"Garlic hates me," Jerome answered. "And I hate it just as much."

"Oh my God! I'm so so so so sorry! I didn't know! I didn't think it was actually possible- but I mean, sorry…"

"What are we supposed to do now?" Eddie asked.

"Wait here, Jerome…" Mara said before dragging me, Eddie and Jenny off to a corner of the canteen.

"Could he like, die of garlic allergies?" Eddie asked.

"I don't think so, but I'm not some medical expert. Mara?" I replied, turning to Mara.

"Nope… He can't…" Mara assured. Well that's a relief that none of us will be questioned for the murder of Jerome…

"That's a relief…" Jenny sighed. "But what do we do about him?"

Mara looked at Jerome worriedly, "I honestly have no idea."

"Hey, guys! I'm right here! Don't talk about me like I'm gonna die! I'm not! It's just garlic!" Jerome yelled from behind us, clearly annoyed.

"Shush!" Jerome threw his hands up in frustration or annoyance… maybe both.

"You guys are impossible," he said before burying his head in his hands.

"So… what now?" Jenny asked.

"Maybe we could like… dump his body in a ditch or something and pretend like this never happened," Eddie suggested.

"What?" Mara's eyes went wide.

"I mean, if he dies or something…" He continued.

"He won't die, Eddie…" I said, rubbing my temples. For a guy his age, Eddie is one of the most annoying ones… You know, next to Jerome.

"What? I'm just saying that if he did… Then we would have a backup plan already. You guys should thank me for thinking ahead of all the possibilities," he said. And at that moment, we all face palmed with the cause of Eddie's undeniable stupidity

Amber's POV (Time skip to the morning of the next day! Back in the house)

My back hurts… Why does it hurt? It feels like an elephant carrying a giant bulldozer has ran over my back thousands of times… What did I do yesterday? It feels like having a hangover only with a sweet taste in my mouth… I should ask Trudy what happened yesterday… Or maybe Nina. I looked over to the right, where Nina's bed is supposed to be. But it wasn't there. Instead, I saw a pot of plant. Then I realized I wasn't in our room; I was lying down a table in the living room. In fact, everyone else was there, sleeping in random positions everywhere around the room. Heck, even Trudy.

I stood up carefully from the table and walked around the room. I finally noticed that four people were missing; Jerome, Mara, Patricia and Eddie. Maybe they were in their rooms… so I checked. Eddie's room was empty, so was Jerome's and the same thing happened with Mara and Patricia's. Where were they? Maybe they woke up early… but that wasn't possible. Jerome, Patricia and Eddie weren't exactly the 'morning person' type of people and even though Mara was, she wasn't the type to leave the house alone. I pushed out all the thoughts f them being kidnapped out of my mind and decided to search the house one more time before trying to wake everyone else up. I walked back up the stairs and peeked into Victor's office. It was empty. Though I noticed a few things…

That one of the windows next to the door had a floorboard going through it and cans and cans of Mountain Dew in the room. I'm guessing that this is somehow Alfie's fault. I searched around the house, finally noticing that there were loads of Mountain Dew cans scattered everywhere; the kitchen, the living room, the guys' rooms, the laundry room and pretty much everywhere else. And I'm pretty sure that one of us had tried frying Mountain Dew with butter and oil… you know, because there was a frying pan coated in what I assumed to be burnt or cooked Mountain Dew. Somehow, all this made me think that all of us, except for Mara, Jerome, Patricia and Eddie, went on a Mountain Dew overdrive. Did that come to your mind too or is it just me?

Then I heard a groan from the living room and rushed over to find that Joy was trying to sit up on the couch.

"What happened last night? Why am I covered in Mountain Dew? Why does everyone look like they're having a hangover?" She asked, finally succeeding to sit up in a crumpled but technically upright position.

"Jerome, Mara, Eddie and Patricia are all missing… But Joy, I think we all went on a Mountain Dew overdrive… Which I think is Alfie's fault," I explained, pointing to Alfie who was lying face down on the kitchen counter, coated with Mountain Dew.

"Ugh, we're gonna die trying to clean this all up…"
