So here's chapter 10(?)
Eddie's POV
I didn't get any sleep last night. Considering I was next to the window, when the sun rose, it practically burned my eyes. Which feels painful… I never would have thought that I would be awake at this time of the morning on a Saturday. I mean, who does that?
It's now five in the morning of Saturday and I had been counting each hour of my misery of being stuck in school with Jerome, Mara, Patricia and Jenny. It wasn't that bad, honestly… but it wasn't exactly a picnic at the park either. Jenny ignored Patricia and vice versa. Though it was pretty peaceful, the dirty looks, the glares, the whispers and the nonstop talking from Jenny were as annoying as they could get, which was pretty annoying. Mara had been the only sane one, and it has only been a day. I was in the brink of going insane and I still had over twenty four hours to go… This is going to be a long day…
(Time skip! 9 am!)
Joy's POV
I had woken up about three hours ago to Amber explaining her theory of what happened yesterday, which surprisingly made sense. Everyone else had slowly gotten up an hour or so ago and now we were all trying to clean up the mess we made yesterday. Including Victor's window. Though we still haven't found Victor anywhere; not even in the attic or the basement… A bit odd isn't it? Considering he isn't in his office. But that isn't my biggest concern. My biggest concern is trying to get this mess cleaned up in time before Victor shows up. Let's just say that for now, him being gone is a good thing. Then again, when is it not?
Amber and I were cleaning the girls' hallway and bathroom (don't ask) while Nina helped Trudy with the kitchen and the living rooms and Fabian was taking care of Victor's window and Mick and Alfie were cleaning the guys' rooms.
"I'm done!" Fabian announced from the girls' hallway.
"Great! Now help us!" Mick yelled from the one of the guys' rooms downstairs. Fabian groaned before replying lazily, "Coming…"
I sighed before standing up and walking into the bathroom.
"Hey, Amber, I'm gonna start on the bathroom. Come in when you're done with the hallway…" I called before going into the bathroom and shutting the door. I inwardly groaned at the sight of the messed up bathroom. Whoever was up here yesterday sure was high on Mountain Dew. Let me give you the image of how the bathroom looked like;
The toilet seat was covered in Mountain Dew and there were at least three cans inside the toilet bowl (ew), a small portion of the floor was covered in Mountain Dew, the shower curtains were also covered in Mountain Dew; the liquid was a little sticky and was dripping down from the edge of the shower curtain, the sink had bottles of different colored Mountain Dews inside of it, some full and some empty. Though, the shower curtain was closed. Honestly, I was worried about what I would find behind that curtain. I took a deep breath, bracing myself to face whatever or whoever was behind that curtain. I reached my hand forward and pulled the curtain aside. I jumped back in shock at what I saw before running out of the bathroom and calling out: "TRUDY!"
(Back at school, after… 9 am. I'm skipping over breakfast.)
Eddie's POV
I hadn't gotten even a blink of sleep since 5 o'clock in the morning. I felt like a zombie and I was pretty sure that I was acting like one. Because Mara and Patricia kept on sending worried glances my way. I wonder how bad I looked… I mean, I can't possibly look that bad… Patricia stopped by me and looked at me weirdly.
"What's up with you? You look like the living dead…" she commented, looking at me. "Heck, you make the living dead look like Paris Hilton's twin…"
"That bad?"
"Yep… You look like you're ready to die, you should try this look for Halloween…"
"I haven't got any sleep. Not. Even. A. Single. Blink," I replied.
She whistled lowly. "That's bad. Why?"
"Why do you think? I'm stuck in school with my overly bubbly yet terrifying ex, my girlfriend and two of my friends."
"Hang in there. I'm the one who has to deal with your 'overly bubbly yet terrifying ex'," she replied.
"True… But still, she's so…"
"So… blonde?"
"No… Amber is. Jenny isn't even really blonde, she dyed it. She used to be a brunette."
"She's so… Jenny. There's no other way to describe her. She's simply Jenny." I said. "If she was in Mean Girls, she'd be like… Cady Heron. Only she doesn't get better and stays a plastic."
"You watched Mean Girls?"
I shrugged, "Why not?" Before Patricia could reply, Mara called her over. "Hey, Patricia! Could you help me out here…?"
"Sure!" Patricia called back. "Do something productive. Bye." She walked over to Mara and did whatever it is Mara had wanted her to help her with… I walked around the school, looking for 'something productive' to do. I haven't seen Jenny and Jerome anywhere so I guess looking for them was included as a productive activity.
Time skip! ~ 10:00 am
I'd found Jerome about half an hour ago but Jenny still wasn't found. For someone who acted so dumb, she was pretty good at well… everything.
"Where do you think she is?" I asked, looking into another classroom.
"I don't know. Why are we looking for her when we could start looking for an exit?"
"True… Why don't we? I mean, the storm is over already…"
"And there's the door!"
"Wait… Mara and Patricia?"
"What about them?"
"Where are they?"
"Who knows?"
"Don't you think we should look for them?"
"Why?"
"We found an exit."
"So?"
"It's locked."
"And…?"
"Patricia knows how to pick these types of locks."
"And so does Jenny."
"Do you see her anywhere?"
"Well, no."
"There's your answer."
"And you think finding Patricia is easier than finding Jenny because…?"
"Patricia's with Mara, duh."
"And…?"
"Mara has a rational mind."
Jerome nodded in agreement, "True, true…"
"So, let's start looking?"
"Okay…" Jerome agreed. "PATRICIA! MARA! WHERE YOU GUYS AT?!"
Okay, well sorry if it's crappy and all... Expect updates to be a bit faster after the 26th. Once again, sorry and thank you. You guys have the right to yell at me for not updating... Okay then, that's all I've got to say.
QOTD: I'm curious, what's your favorite color? And do you feel the need to yell at me?
R&R! Once again. sooooo sorry!
