FINALLY FINISHED THIS CHAPTER.
I'VE ONLY BEEN WORKING ON IT FOR TWO OR THREE DAYS.
So Raven in this looks the same as Raven in Teen Titans... the show, not the comic. And all of Batman's vilains as their version in Arkham Asylum.
I OWN NOTHING BUT LUMINIRA/NIGHTMARE.
Pairings; DamixColin. Mention of Birdflash.
I think that's it.

The city was in ruins.
Artemis was frozen, but the words seemed to leave her mouth by themselves.
"Oh my god…"
She had just been here, she had just been here, only an hour ago.
Visiting her mom.
Her mom…
The buildings were falling apart, many already on the ground. People were running around in panic, screaming. Some were bearing knives and guns, killing anything or anyone that came too close.
Was her mom even still alive?
"She's fine." A voice came from behind them. It was a woman's voice, so it couldn't be Flash or Robin, and it was a little raspy, like Raven's, but it also had a sweeter, honey-like side to it. Tigress immediately took her bow and loaded it, aiming to the shadows behind them.
"Who's there? Show yourself!"
A young woman stepped out of the shadows, no older than 20, and even then she was petite. She was covered in black, with two utility belts, one around her waist and one around her hips. She stood with her hands on her hips, seemingly uncaring of the arrow aimed at her head. "Chill, geez. I'm not gonna hurt you. Just, I don't know, ignore the weapons."
She gestured to her utility belts. Artemis glared. "You still didn't answer my question."
"Oh, right, introductions. Those are kinda awkward to write though," she cupped her chin, tapping her index finger against her lips. Or, where her lips would be, if she wasn't wearing her helmet. "Hm. I can't think of any ideas of other ways to do this without explosions or a mass murder, so boring way it is!"
She walked towards Artemis, who had returned her bow and arrow to their proper place, but when she noticed the girl coming forward, she prepared for a fight. But the mystery girl just stuck her hand out. "Don't be so paranoid, Artemis. Luminira Grayson, professional assassin at your service."
Artemis shook her hand, a little in shock, before the realization hit her."How do you know my name?"
She shrugged. "Dick told me. I know pretty much everybody's name. You're Artemis," She pointed to each as she said their name, "Damian, Wally and Raven," Her eyes widened. "Wait WHAT."
She walked over to Raven and poked her cheek. "And what, exactly, are you doing out of Azarath?"
She had only been on the Team for a few months and that was the first time they had ever seen Raven smile, even if it was more of a smirk. Than she spoke, which was a rare occasion, but this time it was in a perfect imitation of Batman. "Fighting for justice and to rid my city of the criminal scum infecting it."
"And apparently also letting my smart-ass attitude rub off on you."
Both girls smiled before hugging. "I missed you," Raven whispered quietly to her, so the others couldn't hear.
"Missed you too, Rae," Luminira whispered back. They broke apart at Wally, though.
"Aw. That's adorable," He said, before he sped to lean over her. "Look, I don't know you, and it's actually insanely weird that I'm just finding out I have a sister-in-law now. But you're really the only one who can help us find Nightwing before something happens to him, and- Are you okay?"
Nightmare grabbed at her head and stumbled back against the wall. She groaned, sinking to the ground and covering her eyes. Robin came to her first, rushing to her side while the others all stood frozen in shock. He pried her hands away from her eyes.
And he saw it.
They were glowing.
A bright blue, not unlike the color on Nightwing's costume was glowing from underneath her helmet, just enough for him to see.
"Ibn…" She practically hissed the name, quiet enough that the others couldn't hear, but Damian could still recognise it as the name he hadn't been called in years. She spoke to him completely in Arabic. "You need to go to… St. Aden's… something's wrong, Colin…"
Her speech was broken up and gasping, but Robin still understood the name of his boyfriend. He dropped her hands and her eyes stopped glowing.
"Are you okay?" Wally repeated the question as he ran over, holding out a hand to help her up.
"Yeah," she laughed it off, like it was nothing, taking his hand, "Happens all the time. No worries. Nooo~ worries."
She looked at Damian, and he heard a voice in his head. Go. He looked at her, eyes panicked, asking was that you? She nodded. Better hurry, Ibn.
"I have to, uh, go get something from the Batcave," He started to walk away, breaking into a sprint the second he was out of sight.
"Damn it!" Luminira pressed a button on her phone. "He's not answering. I have no idea where he is. But since Gotham is going to hell right now we should probably go find him."
"Will Robin be alright on his own?" Artemis asked.
"He's a Bat. He's fine." Luminira walked over to a manhole, taking a knife out of her utility belt and prying it out of the ground.
"What are you doing?" This time it was Wally asking.
"Well, see, the way I figure it, Pixie Boots won't be happy if I use my typical tactics of threatening to cut people's ears off or dripping burning hot wax on their half naked bodies, so I'm gonna do the hero thing and make a plan."
Tigress raised an eyebrow. "In a sewer?"
Luminira rolled her eyes. "Just get in."
They dropped into the sewer one by one. Once they were all in Luminira pulled the cover back over the entrance, leaving them in darkness. She grabbed a flashlight out of her utility belt, scanning the tunnels first.
Than they heard heavy breathing behind them. Tigress, Flash and Raven all prepared for attack, but Luminira just giggled. "You're exactly the big, green and scaly guy I was hoping to see, KC."
She turned and aimed the flashlight into a giant green beast. His teeth were razor sharp, and his skin (if it even was skin) was scaly and dripping with water. His name suit him perfectly.
Killer Croc.
"Nightmare. You're back?" He growled.
"Yeah. Hey uh, not that I don't love reunions, but I'm kinda busy right now, so can you give us a ride back to the bunker?"
"An' why should I?"
"I'll bring you a nice juicy body if you do!" They both ignored the looks of shock on Tigress and Flash's faces.
"Batman's. I want Batman's."
"But where's the fun if I do all the work?" She smirked, knowing that would get him.
He was silent for a moment, before he returned to the water, leaving his back exposed. "Fine. Get on."

Luckily, the orphanage wasn't too far away. He didn't bother going back to the Batcave to get his bike. His grapple wouldn't work; the buildings were crumbling too much. So he just ran.
And he was going fast. Really fast. Almost speedster fast.
It only took two minutes, but it felt like hours once he finally got to the orphanage. Or, at least what was left of it.
It had collapsed.
Damian couldn't think at first.
He barely remembered stumbling forward, or starting to dig in the wreckage. But he did remember hearing a groan from a few feet away. He cried out, recognizing the voice. "Colin!"
He didn't remember running over, or digging the red head out of the ruins. But he did remember his heart stopping when he saw the blood on his head. And he remembered the sigh of relief when his boyfriend's hazel eyes opened. "H-Hey, D-Dami."
"Colin…" Damian cupped his cheeks and gently kissed his forehead. "Are you alright?"
"'Mm fine. Just hit my head." Damian took a cloth out of his utility belt, and gently patted the wound, using his other hand to hold Colin's. The younger boy hissed when the cloth touched his head and squeezed Damian's hand. "H-Hurts…"
"I know." Damian softly kissed him. "I have to clean the wound, so just hold on."
Damian continued to clean the wound, with Colin whimpering and squeezing his hand. "There. I'm done. It will have to be properly cared for once we get to the Batcave. Can you stand?"
Colin nodded, but let the ex-assassin pull him up. When he let go, however, Colin stumbled, almost falling until Robin caught him. The orphan giggled. "I'm okay, Dami."
He tried to escape, but Damian grabbed him. "No, you're not."
The ebony scooped his lover up bridal style, and Colin giggled more. "I'm your damsel in distress..." He wrapped his arms around Damian's neck and kissed him, pressing their lips together.
Damian felt Colin stop kissing, and pulled back to find the ginger asleep. He sighed. Luckily, he had installed an entrance to the Batcave right outside the orphanage so Colin could get to him if he needed him. For cases, that is. Not for any other reason. Only cases.
At least, that's how he convinced Bruce to let him do it.

Goddamn, this took forever to write.
