A/N

Ok, I am a terrible, awful, horrible person for not updating in forever and a day. You guys probably don't even remember this story, it's been so long. I'm so sorry. I had the absolute worst writers block ever on this story and then I got absorbed into an entirely different fandom. (Even though you probably don't want to hear that. I know I'm a traitor.) So this is pretty much some nice fluff. However, if you want to know what happens during that last line break I'll be putting up a one-shot called What You Do On A Honeymoon. It'll most definitely be more mature than the rest of this story, but just on the higher end of T (if that makes sense.)

Disclaimer: Yup, last time I checked, I didn't own Austin and Ally or John Green's The Fault In Our Stars.

It is so beautiful. They crystal clear turquoise colored water stretches on and on to meet the horizon. Austin and I are sitting on our hut's porch that's over the water. Really, the whole hut's over the water. In fact, the hotel we're in isn't much of a hotel; it's a dock that has a bunch of docks that branch off that have little huts on each of them. The huts are made out of wood with a thatched roof. I love it. Inside, there's a small kitchen, a bedroom and a large area with a hole in the floor where you can see the coral reef below. There's a glass window over it that you can open. Where we're sitting has two chairs and a bamboo table. The porch has a bamboo railing on the sides but leaves the whole front open. I can see multicolored fish darting around under my feet. We arrived here last night and slept in late due to it and the after flight tiredness that everyone seems to get. Austin jumps in, splashing me. Now, he's trying to get me to jump into the warm water with him. I want to but at the same time, I'm afraid of sharks and poisonous coral and getting cut on coral and getting touched by seaweed or getting stung by a lion fish.

"C'mon, Als! It's totally safe!" he calls to me from the water. "Do you need me to throw you in?" Austin asks, teasing. Or at least I hope he's teasing.

"Nope! I'm just…getting used to the water," I throw out the excuse.

He gives me a knowing looks, "Als, this water is warm, there's no need to get used to it. You're just stalling."

I laugh, "Yeah…you're right." He climbs out of the water next to me, dripping water onto the wood. Gripping my hand, Austin pulls me to my feet. In a single quick movement, he picks me up and jumps into the water. When we surface, he's laughing and I try to be unhappy with him for getting me into the amazing water, but soon break into giggles alongside him. I splash at him playfully, "Austin! I told you I didn't need help!"

"You were taking too long though!" he laughs. He splashes at me and I swim away, ending up under the overhang of the porch. It's darker under here than out in the bright sunlight. Austin swims under with me. It's shallower so that my toes can brush the sandy bottom of the seabed. His fingers trail down my arm sending tingles through my body. He pulls me closer to him, "You look good in that bikini," he says.

"Thanks." I bought it specifically for this trip. It's yellow with a little ruffle on the top. My hands rest on his bare chest and he presses his lips to mine. It only lasts a few seconds which is far too short for me. Since our first kiss, I've been craving him. I've constantly been around him, but something in me wants to be closer.

Austin shatters the moment by abruptly shouting, "I'll race you to that coral and back! Ready, set, go!"

He starts swimming with long strokes of his arms leaving me calling behind, "Hey! Wait up, you cheater!" I didn't even see which coral he pointed to seeing as there are a few in our vicinity, so I take my pick and choose one that's considerably closer than whichever one he's swimming out to. I swim to it, turn around and grab onto the porch. "I win!" I shout. Austin arrives next to me.

"Nuh-uh. You didn't go to the coral I did."

"Well, I didn't know which one you were referring to and you cheated first!" I laugh; he influences me to act so childish sometimes! I float on my back and look up at the cloudless sky. "What do you want to do today?" I ask Austin.

"We could snorkel," he suggests.

"Ok, where can we buy or borrow some?"

"I brought some. I had a couple sets from when I lived in California and I thought they'd be useful on this trip. I'll go get them," he says. I hear water splash as he swims past me and pulls himself up out of the water. A few minutes later, he comes back holding two snorkels and two mask goggles.

"Awesome!" I strap my goggles to my face and laugh as Austin does the same. "You look so weird!"

"Right back at 'cha!" I situate the snorkel in my mouth and put my face under water. I can see so far! The soft white sand stretches out before me with the occasional growth of coral and a darting fish. Austin's face appears and we hold hands as we swim. It's not difficult because all we really have to do is kick. We swim over a little bank to a slightly shallower area and that's where we see the reef. It's indescribable. There are outcroppings of different corals everywhere that range in color from a pale white to green to yellow to a vibrant pink. A school of little orange fish swims around and past us. There are larger fish too, but all are decorated with astounding colors. Royal blue, sunshine yellow, pumpkin orange and many others. As we continue, I catch glimpses of clown fish peeping out of anemones. A lazily swimming sea turtle passes inches in front of my face.

When we start to get tired, we swim back to our hut. Austin deposits the snorkeling stuff and returns with towels. The sun is on our porch so we lay out the towels and relax on them. The warm sunlight heats and dries our wet skin. I smile, it's so peaceful.

Austin took us to a nice restaurant for dinner. Like most things here, it looks over the water. The moon is reflecting off the now dark water and the stars twinkle far above. I ate delicious sautéed mahi-mahi (a type of fish) covered in papaya and mango sauce. There was a side of yams that were sliced, roasted and salted. A man stands on the little stage at the front and speaks into a mic, "Thank you all for coming today. We hope you enjoyed your meals. Now we'll be presenting a performance of traditional dance."

Several people go on stage dressed in grass outfits. The lights dim and they start to dance. It really gets interesting when one of the men lights a torch and starts tossing it. The other three also get torches and continue the dance. I'm terrified one of them is going to slip up and drop a torch and burn down the whole building. Thankfully, the performance concludes safely and everyone in the audience, including me, erupt into applause.

"That was so awesome!" Austin exclaims after we leave the restaurant. "The fire was like...And the dancers were so...And it was different from anything I'd ever seen!"

I giggle at his inability to finish his thoughts. "Yeah, it was really amazing. I couldn't be anywhere near those guys while they were spinning those torches. Weren't they ever told by their parents not to play with fire?"

Austin laughs, "But who ever listened when they said that? How could you not play with fire?"

"Well, I didn't," I humph. Sometimes it seems like I'm the only person who listened to my parents. Gulp. Who are both now dead. Dark black hole filled with tears down that ally. Backing away from that subject now. I tune back into Austin's continuing dialogue. He didn't even notice I'd stopped paying attention for a moment.

"...and when I accidentally dropped the stick it landed on my foot, the hot end touching me. I remember jumping up howling in pain. My mom had me hold it under one of those faucet things in the campgrounds for what felt like forever. I was grounded for a while after that since I had literally just had the 'don't play with fire' lecture."

"Gosh, you're such an idiot sometimes."

He shrugs and pulls me closer to him and says, "Yeah, but I'm your idiot and you're my little clumsy, adorkable Ally." He's my idiot. "Anyway, what do you wanna do now? We could go night swimming. Or even better we could go night skinny dipping. I just know that as hot as you looked in that bikini earlier things could get a lot hotter if you weren't in a bikini."

I blush bright red and lightly smack his arm. "Don't say those type of things, especially not where other people can hear you!"

Austin catches my hand and pulls me up against him. He whispers, "What other people?" Pulling my eyes away from his gaze, I realize we're back at the house we're renting and there is no one else around. "Ally, remember the part where you're mine now?" His hot breath brushes my neck and I shiver.

"Wh-wha?"

He cuts me off by kissing me. Somehow it feels more desperate that the few others we've shared and that scares me. How did he change so fast from normal to suggesting skinny dipping and...and this?

When Austin pulls away, he's smirking. "I can't always be the goofy childish person everyone knows me as. I have my darker moments...and I also have my cravings. You know how a girl craves chocolate? I crave you so much more than that."

I can't do this. I can't do this. What is he doing? I know we're married and all but for some reason it's starting to really frighten me. I know I shouldn't be since couples are supposed to do 'it' the night they're married or whatever, but I was so exhausted that after we kissed a little bit I couldn't even hold my eyes open any longer so Austin let me sleep. I guess he really wanted to make love with me though. "I know what we should do! Would you read to me?" I ask.

That visibly shocks him. "Huh?"

"Like we'll sit out on the porch and you'll read to me. It'll be really romantic and sweet." Way to be a cock-block.

Austin runs a hand through his hair. "Uh, sure. If that's what you want, I suppose. Um, I'll be out on the porch, just bring the book and yourself out I guess." He quickly goes inside.

I follow more slowly and grab my book from my suitcase. Currently I'm reading The Fault In Our Stars by John Green for the second or third time, it's absolutely the saddest and most romantic book I've read. Outside, Austin is sitting cross-legged and staring at the small waves in the water.

"Hey."

He looks up and a small grin appears on his face, "Hey, Als." I hand him the book and sit down next to him. He slips his arm around me and I lean my head on his shoulder. "Should I just start at the bookmark?"

"Yeah."

"Ok," he took a deep breath and began. "'I'm in love with you,' he said quietly. 'Augustus,' I said. 'I am,' he said. He was staring at me and I could see the corners of his eyes crinkling. 'I'm in love with you, and I'm not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. I'm in love with you and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we're all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and I am in love with you.'"

I snuggle my head into his shoulder and wish he would continue. I love his voice.

"Would you believe me if I told you that?" he suddenly asks.

"Of course."

"Then why won't you let me love you?"

"Won't let you-"

"Let me have you, Ally; there's nothing to be afraid of. I know you want it too." I nod and sense him grin.

Lying in bed I listen to Austin's breathing. The thin sheets lay cool against my bare skin and I feel wonderful. I can't wait for the rest of the honeymoon.

I know I don't deserve it...but it'd still be really nice if you guys would review and follow/favorite.

Until the next chapter,
