"Jim, baby, how are you?" Amy said as we walk up to the back door of the casino. Jim and Amy kiss each other on the cheek.
"Amy, darling, where in the hell have you been girl?" he then turned and saw me. "Sam!" he pushed pass Amy and gave me a huge hug. "Oh how I've missed you and your badass ways!"
"Nice to see you to Slim Jim" I released our embrace and he looks at Tucker and Danny.
"My, my, my, who are these to fine ass men here?" Amy and I bust out laughing at the look of horror on Danny and Tuckers face.
"There both straight doll" I assured Jim.
"Damn, the cute ones always are. Well, come on in my darlings!" he opens the door and we walk in.
The place is big, loud, and bright. There are slot machines, bars, poker tables, and anything else you can find at a casino. We walked in and some older gentleman walked passed us and whistled at Amy and me, causing Tucker to glare and Danny to flick them off.
"Um, are you sure we should split up? I mean maybe we should split up into twos, Amy and me, and Danny and Sam. You know, just in case you ladies need some man power." Tucker chocked out as some rather large men walked pass us and looked like psycho killers.
"Aw, is the little Tucker afraid?" I asked him in a baby voice.
"W-What? No, I'm just worried about you to lovely ladies in such an establishment where young teens aren't supposed to be." He clarified quickly, trying to keep any dignity he had left.
"Ok you big baby, let mama take care of you." Amy said in Tuckers ear and he had a love struck look on his face as she dragged him off.
"Well" I turned at the voice of Danny and faced him. "Looks like it's just you and me."
"Looks like." I smiled at him and grab his hand and lead him to the bar.
We sit and the bar tender comes up to us. "What can I get you miss?"
"Nothing for us, thanks." I answered and he shrugged and walked away.
A few minutes of awkward silence and looking for Michael later, Danny cleared his throat. "So, um, why didn't you ever tell us about you being a ghost hunter or about." His eyes flashed green for a second. "Jake."
"Danny, you have to believe me, I wanted to with all my heart. I couldn't, I was shorn to secrecy. If I had told any living soul outside the agency, I'd be punished and so would the person or people I'd told. I probably would have been kicked out of the agency and both mine and the people I told would have had our minds erased about the agency. Also, we couldn't tell people about our relationships with people in the agency." I let out.
"Well, you told us now. Are we going to have our minds erased?" I asked worriedly.
I signed. "No, I left the agency after the whole Plasmas thing. They don't watch me anymore and now I'm 100% apart of Team Phantom. Plus, they know you're half ghost, so they have dirt on you anyway."
"Oh" he looked down at the bar table and I could tell he wanted to ask me something.
"Danny-"
"So you and Jake?" he cut me off. Damn, I was hoping to skip this conversation.
"Hehe, yea, we started dating when I was 14, and stayed that way for a few months." Can someone say awkward?
"Did you love him?" he didn't meet my eye.
"I loved him, yes." I can see Danny tense a little. "But I was never "in love" with him. I liked him a lot though. Although, I think deep down inside of me that we both loved someone else and we were just replacements for someone else because we knew that the one that we truly loved would never love us back. We settled for each other, he was there and I needed someone. Go figure." Wow, I'd never admitted that to anyone, ever, but I know it's true. He loved Rebecca, his best friend that wasn't in the agency, and I love Danny, and still do.
"Wait." I turn and look at him looking at me. "Who are you in love with then?"
Damn. Clueless much?
"Well-"
"Samantha?" THANK GOD FOR WHOEVER JUST SAID MY NAME BEHIND ME! I turned around and saw the one reason we were here, Michael.
"Michael, funny running into you here, isn't it? I have I few questions for you." I smiled.
Short, I know, but review please!
