I raised my hand that had Lævateinn in it and tried to stab Ciel. He parried my attack however, and I went spiraling away to the right.

"Damn it…" I muttered and tightened my grip on the sword. Ciel was good. I had only recently learned how to control a sword, and didn't have life experience like him.

"What? Am I too tough for you?" Ciel said mockingly, waving his blood-red sword around in the air. "Some hero you are. Can't even save his princess. Why you aren't even fit to be an English gentleman!"

"AUGH!" I screamed and swung my blade blindly at him, with so much brute force it nearly flew right out of my hands. "I WILL KILL YOU!"

Ciel seemed to effortlessly dodge my attacks and began swinging at me. I constantly ducked, but fury was still flowing throughout my demon bloodlines. My navy blue-haired opponent managed to cut me once or twice on the arm, but I also wounded him in the process.

We continued our fight, but every second I wasted with fighting him was another second Nichole was tortured by Sebastian. More and more cuts and scattered my body and more and more blood escaped me. I was absolutely covered in red, and my body hurt everywhere.

"Getting tired?" Ciel asked as he landed another blow on my cheek. "You're losing fuel it seems…"

"Shut…up!" I scowled back, pushing my body to its limits to keep on attacking. "I am going to KILL you!"

"Keep on telling yourself that, I'm sure if you do it'll happen!" Ciel responds, landing yet another cut upon my face. "You're dead Trancy! The Vælation is as powerful as your sword. Sebastian found it just for this."

"That's a pretty dumb reason!" I said as I ducked and Ciel's sword clipped the very tip of my head. "Ugh…"

"Give up now and I'll make short work of you." Ciel swung his sword once more and it hit me square in the knees.

I fell onto the ground and felt my entire being becoming numb. No, I couldn't die here. I wouldn't allow it…Attempting to at least wound him once more; I raised my hand with Lævateinn in it. But as I did, a shock of pure pain went through me and I fell to the floor. My sword rolled away from me and landed at Ciel's feet. "N-No…"

"Pathetic." Ciel said, a smirk trying its best to not show. He picked up Lævateinn and held it in his free hand. "A demon who dies at the hands of a demon master…"

"You….motherf-"

"ALOIS!"

I quickly turned my bloodied head to see Nichole being held in Sebastian's arms, struggling to reach me. She too was covered in blood, and her efforts to get away were in vain.

"Oh dear…stop squirming." Sebastian said this like he was scolding a puppy, and it made me sick. "You don't want to get punished again, now do you?"

My vision blurred, but I could see perfectly what happened next. The black-clad butler took a stake and drove it deep into her forehead. She screamed and withered as it happened, and I screamed along with her. The more she screamed, the more Sebastain pushed the stake into her.

"You feel her pain or something Trancy? What did you make a contract with her?" I could tell Ciel was sarcastically joking, but it still pained me. "But I doubt you did that…"

"Shut up…Let her go!" I commanded, tears staining my eyes, "Don't drag her into this!"

"She's already too deep in this game to quit." Ciel said, and placed his heeled shoe onto my face. He dug deep, and while it didn't hurt, I still felt discomfort. "Anyone your piece touches on the board touches is instantly in the game. You help decide their fates, whether they have a good or bad ending is up to me of course…"

I breathed in shallow gasps as I tried to talk, and it hurt to move my mouth with a brat on top of it. "L-Look…I don't care….J…Just let her go…M-Murder me if you wish…"

"But that's not fun." Ciel responded, pushing his heel deeper into me. "Let's at least have an interesting game, eh?"

"A-Alois…" Nichole stuttered as blood from the hole in her forehead flowed down her pale face and masked it in red, mixing with her hundreds of tears. "I-Its hurts…I'm s-scared…"

"I know…" I replied, sounding extremely muffled. "But it's okay…I am too…"

Apparently, this was the funniest joke ever. Ciel doubled over laughing and lifted his leg a bit. Just enough for me to roll away from him by a few feet. As soon as I was free I felt my blood once again pump strongly in my veins, but…something was wrong. My powers felt weak, or locked away. I was helpless as the human I had been before.

"So, Trancy, you ready to watch your girlfriend die?" Ciel asked me, laughing a bit. "Oh, and my sword can lock demon's powers away for a certain time as well…"

"Well that explains it…" I said quietly, realizing that I was laying down in a pool of my own blood, that was quickly growing. "And to answer your question, no, I am not ready to watch her die."

"Oh, you aren't…?" Ciel motions to Sebastian and he begins driving that damned stake even deeper into her head. If only I had Lævateinn or Ciel's sword…then maybe I could kill Sebastian and then Ciel.

"Y-Yeah." I said, making my voice loud against Nichole's loud cries of pain.

I clenched my fist and closed my eyes, focusing as hard as I could on becoming a full demon. As I did, more and more blood escaped me and my breath shallowed. It seemed to take forever, but suddenly I felt my powers come back…no…they came back even better.

My pupils became small slits and my hair became a midnight black. Power surged through me like a violent storm, and I felt like I could KILL anything. A black and red aura surrounded me and I screamed a murderous scream. Instantly I got to my feet, my new and better power overtaking me.

My clothes changed in a flash as well. My ruined purple coat became black and grew into a cape. My shirt and vest grew black too. The blood that dressed me up like a grotesque doll melted right off me. I stared at my hand, my Demon's Mark shining brightly.

"Ciel…" I said, in a dark evil sounding voice, "Get ready to die…"

I lunged right at him, a mad laugh sounding from me as I reached for him.

"NO!"

Sebastian jumped right in front of me, and I slashed his shoulder. It left a giant gash and left the butler with a shocked face. He dropped Nichole to the floor where she landed with a thud and grabbed Ciel.

"RUNNING IS POINTLESS." I said, getting ready to chase them. The scent of fear emitted from both the demon and young master as they ran away at light speed. "I'LL JUST KILL YOU A-"

It was then I realized that the scent of a dead body was coming from under my nose.

I stared at Nichole, whose face was wide eyed and blank. The light from her brown eyes had faded entirely and I felt instantly my urge to murder gone.

"No…nonononono…" I fell to my knees, and picked up her corpse. It was already losing its heat… "No…please don't leave me alone…I just got you back…"

But she was dead, so she did not respond.

My breathing got heavy and I felt myself begin to shake. She was gone…her soul was still there…but she was dead…

"Ah…so close Demon Alois Trancy."

I turned around, still holding Nichole's corpse in my arms to see GateKeeper, her hood off and her face showing. A delusional smile was on her face, and I wanted to tear it to little shreds and stomp on her body until she was but a blood stain on the floor.

"Why are you here?!" I questioned, my voice faltering and cracking like a child. "C-Can't you see I'm BUSY!?"

GateKeeper completely shrugged off my question and began walking towards me, her death scythe dragging on the floor and making a screeching sound. "Give GateKeeper the body. GateKeeper must take soul that is in it."

I pulled Nichole's corpse closer to me and shook my head quickly. "NO! GO AWAY!"

The female Grim Reaper sighed and swung her arms around like a playful child. "Undertaker and GateKeeper have places to be. Give corpse now."

"NEVER!" I hollered, tears obscuring my view greatly. "I want to spend as much as possible with her! I want to carry her corpse home, and go the long way! All because I know that after today she'll never be here again…" I say the next part in between my sobs, "I…I never t-told her I l-loved her…"

"Pity, but don't care." The GateKeeper took another step closer to me, and licked her pale lips. "Now hand the body over…"

I was about to scream when another person caught me from behind and held me in place. I yelled and screamed and cursed but to no avail did I escape this person's grip. They were strong…too strong.

GateKeeper took Nichole from me and bowed her head. "Demon Alois Trancy is against the rules of being in Human world. Needs to return to Hell now."

My eyes grew wide as anything and my jaw dropped. "N-no! I must stay here…Don't send me down there! NO! NO!"

GateKeeper shook her head and chuckled. "So funny you are…go now. GateKeeper send you."

I closed my eyes as I fought as much as I could. But I soon found myself seeping down into the Underworld, screaming and yelling.

I had failed….I tried my best but failed.

Now I was a demon and alone….

Nichole….I…I

I love…..

Goodbye.
