"Exactly. You thought that they were out of the equation. You must be sure that they are no longer a problem. Otherwise they will come back and be the end of you. You must be the end of them."

"The end of them? But we wanted them as trophies."

"Then do it simply. Take the costumes and their weapons. Put them on display. And dispose of the person themself. They will keep causing problems if you don't."

"He is right. We must eliminate the threat once and for all."

"Then we begin. Tonight."

"What do you think is going to happen when we get too old for this?"

"Do you really think you could ever get too old for this Richard?"

"Maybe. But Rae, aren't you ever going to want to stop? Stop fighting crime all the time."

"Not anytime soon. Besides, knowing us the job will get to us before old age. After all don't the good die young? Plus you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. Dying young doesn't sound too horrible that way."

"I suppose. Its a depressing thought either way though."

"Yeah. But so is the thought of leaving behind everyone."

"Yeah. It is."

"So what's so depressing about sunrises that you brought that up?"

"I was just wondering if you ever wanted a life outside of this."

"It would be nice. It would be hard though too. I would still slip away every now and then to try and help people. That would be hard to explain. So would all the scars from battles. Physical and mental. Wouldn't want to see a conversation where I had to explain why I was screaming about Trigon during a nightmare."

"It doesn't look like a normal life would ever be possible."

"It would. It would just take a lot of work. But lots of good things do. It'd probably be easier if it was someone who knew though."

"It definitely would. You were right before though. The job is probably going to get us before old age. At least we'll die heroes."
