A/N:"The Union of Lublin (Polish: unia lubelska; Lithuanian: Liublino unija) was signed July 1, 1569, in Lublin, Poland, and created a single state, the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth." (source Wikipedia, since I'm too lazy to translate the information in my notebook. And if I started I would have translated everything. And by everything I mean everything. And also,I'm sorry for the late update,I was working at two chapters at the same time,so another chapter is coming up!)

Also, thank you for the reviews! They make me feel special and strong and all. C:

Feliks stared at him for a few minutes by now. Toris shifted in his place, quite uncomfortable. Those pretty green orbs,it seemed, pierced Lithuanian's insides. And not in the way some would think. And the worst part was that the Pole was deaf to the oppressive atmosphere. Finally, the brunette decided to speak up,hands trembling slightly.

"So,um... It seems we're going to be together for a while again, huh?" he said cheerfully, although Feliks was the one who pushed and almost forced Toris to sign that union. One time he left, angry and resentful about the conditions. But he had to go back, since Russia was breathing on the back of his neck and he had Raivis to protect. Even though he protected him only for the great port the boy had in his lands,he also did it for that small spark of guilt. It was his fault the boy walks with deep injuries on his fragile body.

"Yeah..." Feliks said in monotone. He was now a lot different than before. Maybe he felt hurt when Toris declined his offer with so much anger. The brunet shifted his gaze and inspected his fingernails, remembering few words he spat out when storming out of the building, feeling horrible about them now. The Pole suddenly took his hand and squeezed it firmly as if reading Toris' mind. "I'm not mad,Liet. I know that it must be hard for you... Liet likes being independent, right?" a warm smile spread across Feliks' face and the other male felt himself mimicking it.

" I never thought you could be this nice."

"Well,Liet,it's not like we stay the same all the time!" the smile on the blonde widened to a happy grin.

"We don't stay the same all the time, bruoli. It's common sense." Samogitia flickered her long hair, although it was so long that it swept the ground,so the effect wasn't very stunning. Nevertheless, it was still pretty. She was pretty. Isn't it strange? His sister spent years, no decades in the Prussian household and her beauty, instead of withering, bloomed. Or maybe irritating and hitting the cocky man made her happy and it affected the girl.

Toris sighed and rubbed this temples, looking up to Kotryna. "When did you became so smart? Even though your appearance changed, but being around Gilbert can't boost your intelligence." the younger girl only laughed, walking closer to her brother and hugging him.

"I missed you too." she muttered and buried her face into the crook of his neck. Toris felt a pang of pain in his chest. He gave her away, like some kind of an item and here she was, saying that she actually missed him! Lithuania clumsily pushed her away, hands traveling up to her shoulders, squeezing them firmly.

"Don't say things like these,my dear sister. It hurts me... It hurts my pride..." he whispered, eyes burning the grass beneath them. But Samogitia only smiled, putting her small hand on Toris' broad one, caressing it carefully.

"Brother." the brunette tried to put as much leniency as she could in her voice, but it still came somehow too firmly and the other flinched. Kotryna saw her mistake and quickly shifted her hand to his cheek." Brother, but I mean it. I miss you. No matter what you do for me, I'm willing to sacrifice myself. If it's for my beloved Toris, I will even give myself and my land to enemies if it means that you will be safe. It's what sisters supposed to do,right? Protecting their brothers." she brushed her thumb alongside his cheekbone.

"I think you are mixing something up." the older sibling breathed out,but a smile already rose in his dried lips. "Aren't the brothers the ones who protect their small and fragile sisters?''

"Ah,you are extolling me too much!" she giggled like a small lady.

"I'm not talking about you."

"If you stay like this,I promise I WILL rip your tongue out."

"Ha,you are still not funny."

Oh,he will always remember the glare she gave him. But she laughed afterwards,so maybe it was okay?

"Yeah,I do.'' Toris nodded and grasped Feliks' hand.

"Well,I will let you be like that. We will be two strong independent nations and we will be ruling over the Europe! Russia and all won't scare us,right,Liet?'' the Pole cackled, pulling the other into a half hug while the Lithuanian laughed with him.

"Yes,yes,Po.'' Toris unintentionally called Feliks by his pet name, making the other almost shoot happy sparkles of cheerfulness, the blonde's cheeks flushing with crimson.

"Like yeah,Liet is back!" he pressed his cheek to the brunet's chest and make him almost fall down." Liet,Liet, promise me that you will stay like this! Promise, promise!" with every word Feliks swung himself alongside with the grinning Toris.

"Of course,Po! If you stay the way you are, then we are good." he smiled as the other pouted but flashed a smile afterwards. It was so nice, having someone with you, someone in your hands. Toris remembered how he held his sister, the same way he are now holding Feliks. It made me happy and for once, not gloomy and sad. The blonde's presence cleansed the pain away.

Maybe he could survive.

Without her.

If he was with someone who can fill him with happiness, then maybe it can happen.
