*the following content is a repost of Chapter 7. The formatting was just horrible so I HAD to redo it. It was definitely hard to read and I would have hated to read it. SO SORRY FOR THE INCONVINIENCE.
Me: And I'm back with another chapter!
Anna: WHERE WERE YOU?
Me: Uh...?
Elsa: Wow Sammy. Abandoning us like that..
Olaf: Yeah, that hurts my feelings!
Me: Err… Sorry guys!
Jack: Sorry? Sorry?
Kristoff: Guys I haven't even gotten my own POV yet!
Me: Um… (Let's just start the chapter.) -
Before this chapter:
(Elsa's POV)
"Hey, wait up!" I say, "we have to try, don't we?"
I stand up and start to walk out. Something grabs my hand.
"Wait-" Jack says. I look at him.
"Yeah?" "I'm glad we're doing this together."
{Jack's POV}
What was I doing? Why did I say that? I quickly let go of her hand and say, "I mean, glad we're doing it with everyone…"I trail off.
She starts blushing and then says, "Oh yeah, right, that's what I was thinking too." She kind of frowns but then she smiles. "Let's keep going. We have to find Anna."
"Uh… right." I say, stumbling over my words.
"If you guys are done… Come outside, there's a… Slighhttt problem…" Kristoff says, peeking his head through the door of the main room in my ice castle.
He rushes back down. Elsa and I exchange glances and we dash out the door to outside.
Our sleigh is gone, and a huge crater leaves it's mark. "Pitch!" Jack yells.
I kneel down next to the crater onto my knees. That sleigh had most of our provisions on it… "W-what are we going to do?" Elsa stutters.
"I…" I stop.
"You what?" She says, squinting my eyes suspiciously.
"This…" I kneel down and pick up some kind of black dust off the ground.
"Is something wrong?" She asks warily.
"...Nightmares." I whisper.
{Elsa's POV}
Everything seems to be falling apart. Anna's gone, Olaf's gone, and all our stuff is gone. What else could happen?
"So… what about nightmares?" I ask weakly. I really did not want to know what this black dust was about, but I had a feeling I would have to know sooner or later. Might as well be sooner.
"This," he points at the dust surrounding the crater, "Is Pitch's recreation of my good friend Sandy's powers."
"And that means…" Kristoff trails.
"It means, he's bring it up again, probably wanting to make all the children forget about us Guardians again…"
"Forget?" I ask.
"Well, not forget, more like not believe in anymore. But there's one problem." he says.
"And that is…?" I wonder, more interested.
"Why does he want me?"
{Jack's POV}
This whole Pitch thing was getting really frustrating. No matter where we went, or what we did, or what I had ever done since I became a Guardian, he is always there, trying to stop me. This time, I won't let him get away with it.
"Maybe he has another purpose for bringing back his black… stuff…" Kristoff trails.
"Oh yeah, you would know for sure. Someone who has never met him and is just tagging along in this.. mission.. thing." I shoot back at him, frustrated.
He looks hurt but continues, "Well, uh, I only meant-"
"Of course you only meant, but this is way more complicated than some ice business! I don't even get why you're here!" I shout. It was something I really didn't mean, but this baby-faced kid was an easy way to get anger out.
"Jack Frost!" Elsa yells at me. "Just let him speak!" My magically mouth zips close, surprised by her sudden outburst.
"Thanks Elsa." Kristoff says. "So anyways, like I was trying to say, why would Pitch try to do this black dust thing, again? I mean, you've already beaten him at this, what's the point of doing it again?"
Something clicks in my head. What Kristoff was saying seemed… right.
"Alright," I say, more calmly, "So, what do you think the black dust is for?"
"That… I don't know. I mean, all this is only theory so well, nothing is for sure." He stumbles over his words.
"Actually, I think I have an idea." Elsa says.
We both look at her. "Come on!" She laughs, obviously entertained by our expressions. She slides down the hill, creating an icy path following her.
Kristoff slides down it, but I fly. She stops at the bottom of the hill, right on the tip of a cliff. Then she looks out towards the valley. It really is an amazing sight. You can see all of Arendelle, including the outskirts of it. The sea is shining, and yet it was snowing. Courtesy to me, of course.
"Alright Kristoff. Bring us to the trolls' place."
"Trolls?" He asks, confused.
"Yeah, remember? The rock people." She says.
"The rock people?" I wonder.
"That's what I said, Jack. No need to repeat it." "
Oh." Kristoff finally gets it. "OHH" he says again. I felt left out in their conversation.
"Of course! Why didn't I think of it before!" Kristoff shouts, excited. Elsa has a smug look on her face.
"So… anyone care to tell me what this is about?" I say, more confused than ever.
Elsa laughs. "Come on, you'll find out sooner enough."
Kristoff speeds down the cliff, jumping off as if he had done it before. Elsa does the same.
"Hey, what are you-" I smile. They knew they were jumping down into 20 feet of snow. I felt it. I happily jump off too.
When I get down, I don't see them anywhere. "Elsa? Kristoff? Where are you guys?" I yell. My voice echoes through the valley I fell into. "Guys?" I yell, louder. "This isn't funny!" I start getting creeped out. I turn around. There's a cave behind me.
"Oh very funny guys." I say. They went into the cave, and were going to scare me. A snake slithers out of the cave. "AHH!" I yelp. Snakes were my biggest fear. If I even got near one…
"Hahaha" Is what I hear, echoing through the cave. The voice sounds evil, dry, cackly, and unfamiliar.
"Elsa?!" I shout, facing the cave. The snake is rapidly moving toward me.
"Kristoff?!" I yell. The snake glides even faster toward me. It's about five feet away. Then, something grabs me from behind. I
yell, but a icy cold hand covers my mouth. My eyes are covered with a cloth of some sort. I start to breathe heavily. Suddenly my head feels like it's spinning. A splitting headache forms and my eyes start to close. Was I being kidnapped? I tried to fight the urge to close my eyes all the way. But the temptation got me. I blacked out.
My eyes flutter open, clearing up and refocusing. I find myself laying down on a cold, hard metal platform. I stand up. Or, at least try to. I'm strapped to the metal with magnetic chains holding me down. I take a good look at my surroundings. I'm in a dark room, with one lonely light shining on the platform I'm on. I can't really make out anything else. "Hello?!" I yell, hoping someone would hear me.
I hear a heavy whirring, the kind you hear at the dentists when they want to clean your teeth. Then I hear chatter and squeaks.
"Anyone there?" I call out again. The whirring gets louder, sounding more vicious every second. I see an outline of someone coming towards me, holding the source of the whirring. Then I hear slithering. My first thought was snakes. I try to wriggle out of the chains, but the magnets are too strong.
"HELP! ANYONE!" I yell out, panicked. The figure was slowly yet steadily coming closer. I hear scratching. It also gets louder and louder. Soon it's so loud that it covers the sound of the whirring. Suddenly, the platform I'm on shifts. "What is ha-" Before I could say anything else, the platform gives away with me on it.
A hole has appeared and I fall down. I'm about to shout for help, but I feel my "sled" slowing down. I'm in a dark hole, pretty deep in the ground. I hear footsteps.
Suddenly I hear a whoosh and then I feel a smack, right on my head. Right after, a sharp pain pierces through my skull, and I feel myself blacking out again, for what seemed like the tenth time today. My eyes slowly close, I'm too weak to do anything.
As I feel myself giving out, I faintly hear these three words: "You're mine now." _
Me: So… how's that for a cliff hanger?
Jack: So… I died?
Elsa: NO! Sammy! Don't make him die, please.
Me: Uh… you'll have to wait to find out!
Jack: This is a matter of life and death!
Me: And this is a matter of.. uh yeah I got nothing. Anyways guys, I'm SO sorry for not updating in like two months. I've been super super super busy and stressed and high school and ugh yeah. Hopefully you get it.
Kristoff: Still want my POV…
Me: Anyways, I hope the next update will come up soon. Reviews, follows and favorites motivate me to write! Honestly the only reason I updated was because this certain person followed and favorited so yeah haha.
Elsa: You're so lame!
Me: Oh, be quiet. Anyways, here's a shoutout to all the wonderful people who reviewed!
sarah(guest)~ I'm updating now!
elaine(guest)~thanks! Glad you like it!
Well, make sure to review, follow or favorite! A review a day keeps the… Laziness away? Haha I don't know. But, until next time! Constructive criticism appreciated:)
By the way, I'm starting another Frozen fanfiction, if anyone wants to check it out! It's called "Safe" and it is also a Frozen/Rise of the Guardians fanfic. It's pretty new. BUT. Don't worry, I am definitely not giving up on this one.
Till the next update!
-Sammy
