-A Useless StoryTime-

In The Living Room

"Every two months, we like to tell these stories... Scary ones. Who ever gets scared the most would have to obey the teller... for one whole week." Percy said.

"You look good in a maid's outfit, Nico was right, pink is your color." Annabeth said, laughing.

"Shut up!" Percy snapped, remembering the embarrassing memory.

"You had one last month. Right? Did uncle Nico, win again?" Stacy asked.

"He's banned from telling them, but he stays to watch." Percy said ignoring the question.

"Yeah, who can not risk, seeing you tremble with fear." Annabeth said laughing, Eric and Stacy joined their mother.

"What happened?" Stacy asked.

"Well..." This time, for once, Annabeth told it.

Last Month On Saturday

"Hey Annabeth! Can't wait for the show tonight, am I right, or am I right?" I turned, I saw Thalia and smiled.

"Hey Thals, sure! Can't wait, I got something real good this time." I replied, Thalia laughed.

"THALIA? ANNABETH? GET IN HERE OR WE WILL START WITH OUT YOU!" We heard Clarisse say.

"Well, after you, princess." Thalia said, waving me to go before her.

"Ha ha," I said back.

"Hey." Jason said, he smiled as beaconed them to sit by him and Percy.

" 'Bout time," Clarisse said, and frowned. "We got a change of rules." Thalia and I looked at each other.

"A change of rules?" I asked.

"Yeah, because of what happened last time." Travis snickered and Nico smiled evilly, "We had a vote, we would just be telling stories with suspense and it has had to happen to you or someone else, other than that, every things the same." Travis finished.

"With that said." Chris said, he spread his hands out, "Who's starting?"

"I will!" Jason raised his hand.

"I will not say anything." Clarisse said, and crossed her arms.

"Come on, Clarisse!" Rachel said.

"No!" She snapped.

"Well, how about this, if everyone told an embarrassing story... would you?" I asked for a compromise.

Clarisse relaxed a little "Maybe."

"Ok," Jason said and rubbed his hands together. "So, one time when I just came back home I saw Piper crying-"

"Aww- So you went to comfort her, then you made out. Right?" Connor said, Jason tried to say something, "Boring. How predictable, Who's next?" He said, ignoring Jason.

"I guess I will." Thalia said and smirked.

"Oh. I see a promising subject. Thalia?" Chris motioned her to continue, she glared at him.

"Well, Annabeth told me, one time while she was in the shower," Thalia said, I bushed but knew I couldn't say anything because of the stupid compromise, Thalia smiled. "She looked down the tub and she screamed. She said she saw something big and black coming from the cracks." a couple of people laughed.

"Really?" Percy said, straight faced. "Wise girl, How come I never heard about this?" He said in wonder.

"Shut up, Percy!" I hissed.

"Was it a spider?" Connor said laughing.

Thalia smirked again, I met her eyes and gave her a 'I-will-kill-you-later' look, " Nope, it turned out to be just a blob of water, and I just wasted my time going there." They all laughed.

"Ha. Ha. Very funny, who's next?" I said.

"Me, please," Jason said.

Rachel said "Okay, but make it a scary story this time, please?" Rachel looked at Percy, He tensed.

"Fine" He said, finally.

"Yes!" Rachel said.

"Okay, so... There was this girl who just turned 8,

"Only 8?" Rachel said.

"-Her mother bought her a doll." Jason said, thinking.

"NO! Not. DOLLS!" Travis said, he and Connor covered their ears.

"Ignore them." Annabeth said, and waved him to continue.

"Uh.. yeah.. she was sleeping peacefully when she heard something: creeaak. The girl listened hard. That was the creak of the door to the toyroom.

"Toy room?" Travis said.

Jason continued "She heard a disembodied childish, sing-song voice:

'Dolly in the baaaasemeent...' a long pause followed she thought it was gone. 'Dolly is on the staaiiirs" another pause.'Dolly in paaaaarents roooom...parents are deeeaaaad...'."

"Ha ha, that's not even scary what's-" Rachel stopped, suddenly the lights turned off. "Jason?" She said.

They heard a creak, the door opened.

"Okay, man this isn't funny." Percy said, a little shaky, I clutched Percy's shoulder, he wrapped his arms around me protectively.

"Jason, seriously, stop." I said, my voice wavered.

"I-It isn't me!" He exclaimed sounding a bit scared, I thought hard, If it wasn't Jason then who?

"Dolly in the living room, Dolly is with Peeercy and his freeiiinds," A childish, singing-song voice said, fear builded up in me, fast.

"Jason?" Rachel said, scared now.

"I-I swear on the River Styx, Its not me!" He said,

"I-It's okay, it's okay, there is obviously a good-" The voice stopped me.

"Closer... closer... closer..."I looked around terrified, the voice seemed to come in all directions so I couldn't pinpoint the voice.

We heard a click, maybe from a flashlight and saw a face, "Boo." a deeper voice said, we all screamed and drew our weapons.

Tip #239: Don't scare a group of armed Demigods at night.

The light switch flipped on, we saw Nico "Gotcha." He said. There was another thing we did not see: Clarisse. Apparently those two decided to team up on us and scare the living Hades out of us, she had a camera set up, facing us, they laughed. A series of emotion went through me, I glared at them, mostly at Nico though.

"DI ANGELO!" We screamed, Clarisse and Nico busted out laughing even more.

"That's it Nico, YOUR DEAD!" Percy screamed, the boys took off and chased Nico, too bad though. I think he's got the upper hand.

"Well," Rachel said, after a few minutes of silence. "That... was entertaining." She leaned again the wall.

"Definitely." Thalia agreed.

"So, It's just us, what do we do now?" Clarisse asked.

"We could make this into a slumber party, just until the boys comes back." Piper suggested, I narrowed my eyes, so she is Aphrodite's kid.

"No." We all said.

"Aw... please?" Piper said pleading, I relaxed a little, I mean they won't be coming back anytime soon.

"Fine." I said, Clarrise and Rachel and Katie, and Thalia nodded.

"Yay! So.. What should we play?" Piper asked.

"I read somewhere online that Truth or Dare is a very popular game." Rachel said.

"Great! lets play that! And after that I could do your nails... I have to I'm going to work in our cabin's salon this monday [Note: today is Saturday]." She said and slumped down.

Clarisse tensed so did Rachel and Thalia but Katie agreed "Yeah sure..." She said.

"Cool! Annabeth! You can start!" Piper said, I flinched, why me?

"Why? I mean... I do not even fully understand this game." I replied.

"It's easy, So you ask some for example.. you say there name first like this: 'Annabeth, Truth or Dare?' If you say truth, I ask you a question and you have to respond to it truthfully, If you say dare, then you make someone do something they do not want to do. But, for the records, don't say 'I dare you to jump off a bridge' or anything that would physically hurt them." Katie explained.

I thought about the rules then nodded, "Okay, I think I got it so... Piper, truth or dare?" I asked.

"Truth." She said immediately.

"Okay Piper true or false: is New York city, 468 sq miles or (1,213 km²) long?" I said.

In The Living Room

Little Stacy laughed "Mommy! That's not how you play truth or dare!" She exclaimed, Eric just laughed.

"Yeah, you go tell your mom." Percy said.

"Shut up!" I told them.

Last Month On Saturday

Thalia looked down cleared her throat Clarisse waved her to start, while looking the other way, "Um... Annabeth, the question you are suppose to ask is suppose to be... you know... embarrassing." Thalia finished, embarrassed.

"Oh." I nodded, "Alright. I got this. Ok, Piper exactly how long is Jason's penis?" I nodded. [I assume that your all mature enough to read this]

Everyone laughed Piper blushed, "Dare." She said.

I frowned and looked at Thalia, "You can't do that, can you?" asked her.

"Nope." Katie said, Thalia nodded and they all continued laughing.

"I want another one." Piper said, they laughed harder.

A thought dawned to me "Oh. Well I'm sorry if I offended you, since your Jason's girlfriend I just assumed-" Piper cut me off.

"You know what?" She got up from her seat, "I don't want to play anymore." She walked outside to the balcony and we flinched when she slammed the door.

"Well," I looked at Katie, Thaila and Clarisse, "I don't know what just happened but.. I think we won." I told them.

AND Now, Back To Piper

"There!" Piper said, she smiled, she just painted Clarisse's nails into a pretty, gel red.

Clarisse looked at her nails "Pretty," She said, she nod once, then held out her nails to Piper. "Take it off, now." She said.

"Oh," She nodded and reached for her nail polish remover.

What ? I didn't read all the tidbits, only the ones for the show I watch. But I have been reading Ausiello since …I won't say, I don't want to feel old. I can't believe there is anything written in this column that can be considered inappropriate by any standard.

What do you consider inappropriate (I didn't see anything wrong), and the internet does not revolve around your morals. Sorry if I sound harsh, but if something offends you on the internet it is your responsibility to remove yourself. Not relevant, and I don't think I'm a spelling nazi, but the only word I cannot stand being misspelled is "accept."
