And... I'm back (trumpets sound). I am very sorry for the lateness but I have explained why at the end of this chappie :)

Warnings: There is some swearing in this - and get your tissues ready, it's a little sad this one :(

DISCLAIMER: I would not be at Uni studying for a job if I had enough money to own Thunderbirds - so yeah - don't own them, probably never will. Enjoy :)

Aiden sat down watching the only TV in the room as it broadcast the news of his explosion. There was no sign of the thunderbirds yet, but no matter , they would come eventually, Aiden thought with a chilling smirk. The thunderbirds wouldn't abandon the world to save one person. They couldn't save Lucille Tracy, so who's to say Alan Tracy has any hope at all.

"Ah Tracy." He whispered evilly "revenge will be sweet, I've taken your wife. Now the train of death begins with your youngest, then I'll work upwards, till there's just you left." He wished Jeff was hear in front of him so he could gloat evilly with the man at his knees. His evil thoughts continued until he heard an alarm on his security camera. He ran swiftly towards the camera, paranoid that Alan had escaped. Clicking a few buttons revealed the boy was sleeping soundly (or as soundly as he could) in his cell. No... what set off the alarm was something else - Something that would move Adrian's plans into motion much faster.

Alan was dragged slowly from a bleak and dreary sleep by the sound of alarms blaring. He looked around with blurry eyes, confused as to where the noise was coming from. He was given an answer when a blurred figure approached his door. As his vision strengthened he noticed it to be Aiden Stalin.

"What do you want." He snarled with as much power as he could. Aiden wasn't fazed and shot a sneer in Alan's direction.

"Well Alan, looks like my other plans have been put into motion quicker than I thought and you can get a front row seat." He gloated. Alan looked at him suspiciously but before he could question Aiden, the man had disappeared back into the control room.

"That was weird" Alan thought. The small cell seemed eerily silent for a while until Alan heard a low rumble. He turned his head in the direction of the small window at the back of his cell. He couldn't look out of it very well because of his injured ankle, but he had a very clear view of the sky... and what he saw filled him with joy.

"You kept your promise..." He whispered happily

John and Scott were making good air-time across the seas but the eerie silence was beginning to bother John.

"Don't think I can remember the last time you were this quiet in a thunderbird Scooter." He commented. Scott never replied. John gave a sigh and walked over to the young pilot and put a hand on his shoulder. "Scott what's up?" He asked. He heard Scott take a deep breath.

"Do you think I'm doing the right thing, John?" He whispered. John sighed again and sat in the seat next to him.

"Which part?" He asked "Blowing up at Dad? Stealing a thunderbird without permission? Take your pick." He joked. but Scott didn't find it funny.

"I'm serious Johnny!" He cried "We... I should've made a plan, figured out what I was going to do before I rode off." He mumbled.

"But what good would that have done?" John questioned "Sure you make a plan, but either way we're going in blind, we have no solid idea of where this guy is, what his motives are or how we're going to rescue Allie. But trying to make a plan to work around all of those settings would've taken far too long. And Alan could be..." He couldn't finish, but Scott knew what he meant.

"Yeah... you're right. But, I think dad's going to be a little pissed off with me." He shuddered

"No he's gonna be pissed off with us. It's not just you in this Scott. Besides, he'll forget all about killing us when we return with Alan in tow safe and sound." He stated. Scott looked up at John briefly

"You really think we'll find him today?" He asked. John nodded "And what makes you so sure?" Scott challenged

"Easy" John breathed "We're Tracy's" He answered. It was usually the answer to everything. It was their Dad's answer when the boys had to rely on Alan when they were stuck during Spring break. And it's usually his answer whenever anything feels hopeless. More often than not, it usually worked. Before John had an opportunity to say anything else the control panel became to scream warnings at them.

"Warning, Incoming missile, targeted for hanger." the voice on the console cried. Scott and John shared a look before John ran up towards the door in an attempt to set up the deflector shields. He just got to the button but was unable to push it before the missile hit the side of the ship. A large hole was torn in the ship right behind John. The hole wouldn't cause anymore damage to the ship but it was large enough to fit a body through.

The young man knew that because of the speed of the wind behind him, unless Scott stopped moving he would be flown out into the sea. But if Scott did stop, then they would be easier to shoot at for another missile attack. Making up his mind John shouted over to Scott

"Scott!" He shouted. Scott turned around and immediately got out of his seat in order to try and save his brother. But John held out a hand to stop him "You have to keep the ship moving otherwise we're both sitting ducks here!" He yelled, Scott shook his head

"But you'll fall out if I don't slow down!" He explained."And I refuse to let you die because of my stupid decision!" he begged.

"Please Scott listen to me." Thankfully Scott did "We're not in a warzone area or a training area so that Missile must be from Stalin, you need to save these co-ordinates and then fly straight back to Dad" He ordered "With or without me!" Scott stood there silent for a moment "Scott I'm begging you, this may be our only hope to save Allie!" Scott finally nodded, knowing that John was right. He ran back to the controls and registered the co-ordinates before completing John's orders. Speaking of John, the young man was holding on for dear life as the engines sped up. "Scott!" He shouted once more. The man turned around.

"Hold on John, I'll slow down once we get further away... you'll be fine I promise!" He vowed but John shook his head.

"Scott I won't, we both know that, I'm probably the weakest person physically in the family I'm really struggling to hold onto this!" He shouted "I need you too..." He paused as he pushed back tears "Tell dad and the guys I love them... and when you find Allie... you give him the biggest hug you can. I love you Sc..." Anything else he wanted to say was taken from him as his grip finally loosened on the ship and he fell from the ship.

"JOHN!" Scott shouted. But it was no use... John was gone.

TBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTB

Alan watched from the window as Thunderbird 2 was hit with a missile and a hole appeared in it.

"No..." He whispered. He watched as the ship struggled to regain control after the hit. Eventually the ship began to move once more... but in the opposite direction "No wait!" He cried "Come back, please!" But it was no use. The ship was already turning. Alan felt tears appearing in his eyes... they missed him. But to make matters worse, Alan saw a clear shot of the now gaping hole in the ship, and he also saw what was either his father or one of his brothers hanging out the ship. "Oh god..." Alan breathed. "Hold on, Hold On please." It seemed as though none of his prayers would be answered today as the figure fell from the ship to what would be an untimely death

"NO!" He screamed. Unable to take his eyes away from where his family once were, his knees finally gave out and the tears spilled from his eyes and down his cheeks. One of his family was dead, and he was still stuck in this cell. There was only so much a 14 year old boy could take. And for Alan Tracy... this was his limit.

Ok, apologies if I made anyone cry at the end. I'm not going to give anything away but I will tell you this, there are at least another ten chapters planned for this story so something IS going to happen - I'm just not going to tell you what :)

Really really sorry again for the wait. However I have been at University in my first year and have only just finished this past week so I have at literally no time for anything all year. Some of my stories have been updated as you may have seen but there has been no set schedule because of Uni. But I'm free now for a good couple of months so keep a watch out for updates more often :)

Krissystvs :)
