Annabeth and I continued walking until we reached New York City. I thought about contacting my mom, to tell her that we were ok, but decided that he would be even more worried knowing that I was going on a dangerous journey. I guess Annabeth thought the same thing because she did not even mention it.
I remembered my idea, but telling the gods about what was going on. Although it was regarded as stupid at first, right now it did not seem so bad.
"I think that the Empire State Building is a pretty good idea, now that we are in New York" I said
"If we want to get vaporized" replied Annabeth
"After all we have done for the gods, I doubt they would kill us" I said
"It does not sound very unlike them" said Annabeth
"With my dad and your mom around, the gods would be pretty stupid to even think about killing us" Isaid
"Well I can definitely name a few that are pretty stupid" Annabeth said
"Is it really worth the risk" she said
"Ok, so it is dangerous, and might result in us getting vaporized" I said ""What are we waiting for" And we continued our journey to trouble.
