Had to fix something!

...

"Littlefoot... Robin" a voice started, rising Robin from her sleep. "Wake up dears, the bright circle has already begun to rise without you."

Robin gave a yawn and opened her eyes to see Grandma Longnecks' smiling face.

The young girl only blinked for a moment, then flopped back over with a groan. "It's barley even the crack of dawn, it's too early to get up." she stated, trying to get comfortable again. Beside her, Littlefoot didn't even open his eyes as he voice his agreement with the young girl. "Yeah Grandma, can't we sleep a little longer?"

Robin heard Grandpa Longneck give a soft chuckle, and she suddenly felt his nose push against her and Littlefoots' back, nudging them both until they were finally on their feet. "Come along now, you two," He told them. "It's time to find our breakfast."

"The Tree Stars are delightfully plump and and tender at this time."

Robin felt like she could have slept in for a while longer, but the tightening in her stomach after not eating anything since those berries the other day compelled her to follow after the two adults.

..

..

It didn't take very long for Grandma and Grandpa to find a tall tree filled with lush green leaves, or 'Tree Stars' as they called them. So after Littlefoot and his Grandparents had started to eating their breakfast, Robin started looking around for any berries that might have been growing near by.

But she didn't seem to be having much luck in finding some.

Just when she was thinking that she'd have to find food elsewhere, she suddenly heard a loud 'Thump!' behind her, and turning around she saw a large green melon that was covered in darker green strips just laying there on the ground.

"Were did this come from?" Robin wondered out loud as she picked it up and looked around to see where it could have come from. She saw no tree or anything that had these kinds of melons in it... something didn't seem quite right.

She gasped when she suddenly heard a rustle in the bushes behind her, and whipped around. "Who's there?!" she demanded.

If she had been a little faster, then she might of caught a glimpse of a two, thin green tails disappearing into the darkness of the woods.

Robin warily kept her eyes glued to the thrush before her trying to catch a glimpse of movement, but after a moment, a growl from her stomach chased her suspicions away and she gave a shrug. It could have just been another Dinosaur looking for something for breakfast too.

So after she found a good sized rock with a sharp point, she sat down and crossed her legs before she raised the melon over her head, it sure looked like it would be juicy and sweet.

"Hey wait!" Littlefoots' voice cried as he ran up to her just as she prepared to bring it down and smash it open.

"What?" Robin asked, worried that she nearly made a huge mistake. "Is it poisonous?"

"Oh no, it's just that me and my friends use these to play games with." Littlefoot told her as he took the ball from her and began bouncing it on his tail. "We pick partners and play keep away from the others by bouncing it and kicking it to each other."

"If you like, we can teach you how to play too."

Robin only watched him play with the melon for a short while, thoughts about eating forgotten as an idea slowly came to mind and she gave him a smile.

"Hey Littlefoot, how about I teach you a game?" Robin started as she got up to her feet. "I know a really fun one that I always play back home."

"Really? Sure!" he told her with an enthusiastic nod. " Can everyone else play too"

"Oh definitely!" Robin said. "For this game, we'll need more than two players."

Excited to get started, Littlefoot had Robin climb a bored his back. And after letting his Grandmother and Grandfather know where they were going, hurried off find Cera and the others so they can start playing the new game.

Later...

...

"Um, Robin?" Littlefoot began, a hint of confusion in his voice as he watched his friend driving fallen branches deep into the dirt. "What are you doing with those sticks again?"

Everyone was itching to play the new game that was mentioned, but before Robin would even tell them what the name of it was, she asked for them to bring her four long sticks.

They accepted her odd request, and after she had them in her hands she drove two of them deep into the ground and across from each other before she walked down a ways and began doing the same to the other two.

"I'm making goals." Robin answered, driving the last stick she had into the ground before she clapped her hands in satisfaction."I'm gonna teach you guys how to play soccer."

"Soccer?" Petrie asked, the name sounding odd to him. "That what game called?"

Robin nodded, a big smile spreading on her face. "It's pretty simple to learn, and it's very fun."

"It is?" Ducky started, clapping her hands excitedly. " how do you play, how you play?"

Robin knelt down before them and picked up and small twig before she started drawing in the dirt. "Okay, lets pretend that these brackets are the goals, the sticks I put up, and these circles are the players..." Robin told them.

"In soccer, you have the offense, defense and the goalie." Robin explained, "The job for the offense is to kick the ball, or the melon in this case, to the other side of the field and score a goal," she said, pointing to the circles in the middle before moving to the circles behind them. "And the defense sticks closer to the goal and try and keep the ball from getting close."

"And the goalie stays right in front of it to catch the ball to keep the other team from scoring a point." Robin continued before pointing to the circle directly in front of the bracket. "The goalie is the only one that's allowed to touch the ball with their hands, but the others can only use their feet."

"Why their feet?" Littlefoot asked.

" Well, because...then it would be too easy to play, I guess." Robin told him while scratching her head. Truth be told, she never took the time to find out exactly why players couldn't use hands, it was just one of the rules of the game, and she loved it regardless. "It's all about foot work and team work, but players are allowed to bounce the ball on their heads."

"What about tails?" Cera asked.

"Well, I guess you can use your tails too, just as long as you don't catch the melon and hold on to it while you run." Robin said with a nod.

"Alright, that'll be fine." the young Triceratops agreed. "This game sounds easy enough, so who's gonna be offense or defense or whatever?."

" First we have to split off into teams, it might be a little hard to play since there's only six of us, but at least we'll have even players."

"Me, Petrie and Littlefoot will be on one team, and Cera, Spike and Ducky will be on the other. Littlefoot and Cera can be offense, Petrie and Ducky defense, and Spike will be goalie for his team." Robin announced before she tapped the toe of her injured foot. It was healing nicely, but it still ached here and there. "And since my leg is still technically healing, I'll be a goalie too."

The little Dinosaurs all nodded in agreement and everyone took their places on the field and Robin got down into her stance in front of her makeshift goal. Goalie wasn't as fun as offense was, but she still felt excited to play the game and couldn't help it as a smile spread across her face.

" Alright, the first team to make six points wins the game!"
