"You mean Ryomi's dating someone from another school?" Marui questioned.
"Well, the limo would certainly make sense then" supplied Renji
"We have no other choice." concluded Niou
"We have to follow her!" said Marui, Akaya and Niou.
And so the Rikkadai regulars decided to embark on an adventure with stalkerish tendencies!
"They really do get pretty well, don't they." the group of regulars were currently crouching behind an arcade game.
Atobe had taken Ryomi to the mall and the were now engaged in a very loud game of air hockey.
"Uh, huh." Akaya nodded.
"Um... we should really leave..." Jackal murmured.
"Jackal, you're in just as deep as the rest of us! If we go down, you're coming with us, so you had better stick around till the end!" protested Marui.
Sadly, Sanada, Yaguyuu, and Jackal were all forced to go with Marui, Nious and Akaya who were more than a little interested in their kouhai's love life.
Yukimura just quite frankly found the whole thing amusing.
The stalkers had first accompanied the couple when they went to watch a comedy movie because
"a little something something could happen inside and we wouldn't know better!" supplied Niou.
The regulars continued following the couple all over town, following them to the various shops they visited.
All tennis related.
"Aw, man. Nothing good's happening." Marui whined.
"89% that the two have met through tennis or tennis is a key connection in their relationship" pipped Renji.
"Makes sense." grunted Akaya. That girl really had a lot of energy! Did she really go through the same training regime as the rest of them?!not that he would ever tell her of course.
"Wait! They're going to that cafe..." Niou whispered. "If we get close enough, we can eavesdrop on them.."
The regulars all huddled closer to the very conveniently place bush near the outdoor cafe that Ryomi and Atobe were sitting.
Both ordered a tea and a small strawberry cake for Ryomi.
"Really? I can't even imagine Shishido doing something like that.." Ryomi shook her head and laughed.
"I know right?And the best part was that the entire school was there!" Atobe grinned.
"Pffft, Chotaro probably had a heart attack..." Ryomi snickered and her tea.
"He nearly did!" Atobe chuckled. Suddenly his expression grew serious. "You really should stay over more often, you know."
Akaya choked. The regulars all looked at each other. Stay over more often!?
Yukimura frowned. a weird stirring sensation occurred in Yukimura's chest.
"Ieeee, data." renji had a fanatical look in his eyes. The other regulars sweat dropped.
Ryomi shook her head. "The Districts are coming around Kei. Can't risk getting off-track now, can we?"
'Kei? A nickname?' There it was again...That strange sensation...
The feeling had surfaced several times meanwhile he was stalking them, but hearing their conversation seemed to cause it agitate greatly.
"Jirou is begging for another match, you know." Atobe laughed. He looked at her and smirked.
"You look like such a brat."
Ryomi frowned. It seemed that a bit of cream had gotten stuck on her face from her cake.
"Here, lemme get it off..." Atobe leaned over the table to wipe the cream off with his thumb.
From the regular's point of view, it looked like he was about to kiss her...
Yukimura made his decision then and there. He getnly pushed Akaya,who was in font of him. Akaya bumped into a Marui and the domino effect soon occurred.
It resulted in Akaya, Niou and Marui collapsing over the bush, thus alerting Ryomi and Atobe to their presence...
Ryomia and Atobe turned and sared at the the three sheepish Rikkaidai regulars.
"Seaweed-sempai? Marui-sempai? Niou-sempai?What are you..."
The regulars watched as Ryomi's expression darkened.
"Uh oh."
"I'll come and visit you again when I'm free, ok?" Atobe said.
"Sure. I'll call if I ever want to stay the weekend. Tell Aunt Reika to stop worrying."Ryomi replied.
"I will. And be careful ok? I know you got permission and all, but it's still dangerous to play with boys" he said getting to his feet. Atobe leaned down placing a kiss on Ryomi's cheek before giving her a hug.
"But don't expect me to go easy on you." Atobe glared pointedly at the guilty Rikkaidai regulars as they sat in the traditional Seiza-style ( kneeling on their thighs).
"Don't worry. In fact, I would hit you if you even thought about it." Ryomi smiled.
Atobe waved and got into the waiting limousine. Ryomi waved and smiled.
Her smile grew and grew and grew.
"Now, would anyone like to tell me why you were following me? Ahn?" A thick black aura appeared around Ryomi as she turned around and faced the regulars.
"W-well, er... We might have thought you were on a date..." Akaya broke into cold sweats.
"Oh? So why does me being on a date with my COUSIN, of all the people, have to do with you stalking me?"
The guilty three (namely Akaya, Marui and Niou) suddenly found the ground very very interesting.
"Sheesh." Ryomi sighed. She squinted at the rest of the regulars.
"How'd you get involved anyways? I mean, fuku-buchou really?" Sanada grunted. He had no intention of telling her that Niou had blackmailed him after a particularly loud complaint from his end...
"Aren't you supposed to be a gentlemen,Yaguyuu?" Yaguyuu silently shifted.
"Jackal..." Ryomi rubbed her forehead.
She turned to Yukimura who grinned back at her.
Ordinarily, he would take this opportunity to bug her to no end, but for some reason he felt extremely relieved and satisfied. 'Strange.' he thought.
Ryomi sighed. "You idiots..."
