"Regina?" Emma asked upon seeing the perplexed look on Regina when she mentioned Graham and Granny Lucas.

"Huh?" Regina asked absentmindedly.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"I-I am." Regina stuttered. "It's nothing." Regina added when she saw the look of curiosity on Emma.

Emma, on the other hand, had been skeptical but let it go because she doesn't want to ruin the night for them. Emma talked about the work she had back in New York. She told Regina how she deals with the daily photographs that Granny asked her. It was quite an adventure some time but most of the time, it was all plain and boring most times. She is having fun though, she argued. It was enticing to take the other side of the city.

Regina also entertained Emma on her works back in New York. She said that she used to handle the broadway posters that we're posted in Times Square. Emma then question why she stopped handling it and it seems like Regina paused and startled for a while, and the blonde should give herself a credit for even noticing it.

"They gave it to another. I must say I enjoy handling those advertisements but I have to give it to another."

"What was your favourite out of all the broadway adverts that you worked on?" Emma asked curiously. Being a photographer she somehow venture the streets of Time Square and enthralled by the beauty of the colours that are scattered in the area. It was a clattered mess in someone else's perspective but it was rather beautiful in the eyes of an artist.

"I liked Wicked a lot." Regina replied.

"It was simple." Emma commented.

"It is. But if you will look at it the main character, Elphaba, was cloak in black like her character was the evil doer but if you watch the play itself you'll realize that Elphaba wanted to be different among the people of Emerald City. The green background just not connotes her hideous appearance but also it symbolizes the anomaly inside the city. Green is envy. And there was Glinda, the good witch. She became the good witch because it was what the Emerald City pronounced or rather because she stayed. But technically looking at the poster is like someone was telling you that the story is about tactics against the sea of green." Regina explained.

"I find it gay."

"Everything is gay for you." Regina countered to which Emma hollered in laughter.

The laughter died.

And it was just silence. Comfortable one.

"Daniel." Regina whispered. It was so soft that Emma almost didn't heard it.

"His name was Daniel. The guy you saw with me three years ago."

"What happened?" Emma asked hesitantly and Regina seemed to regard her sensitivity with a nod. Emma waited for Regina to talk.

To say something.

"He left." She said.

"He left like died?" Emma asked. Regina shook her head.

"He just woke up one day and decided to leave everything we had. He said that, he needed to follow his dreams and in order to do that, he has to leave me. He just left me a book about Dissociative Identity Disorder and memories of this place." She explained.

"Is that why you're always here?"

Regina nodded.

"A part of me wanted to believe that if I go here, I'll see him. He didn't tell me where he was going but I thought this would be the place… and a part of me wanted to make new memories." She said quietly.

"Riding a train while reading the book he gave you? Are you that masochist Regina? Wow! It's a good thing I saw you!" Emma exclaimed.

She grabbed Regina's hands.

"We'll make new memories!" She announced enthusiastically before pulling Regina out of the cab. She placed their intertwined hands on her coat pocket.

The following days went to a blur.

They went to different places where Regina wanted and somewhat, Emma wasn't surprised when they figured that they both love the same things.

During one of their trips, they visited an apartment that was untouched since the Second World War. It was owned by a socialite and actress, Madame de Florian, who fled Paris during the war but kept paying her rent until death. Emma asked Reina on how she was able to have a pass on that gorgeous apartment which seems like enclosed in a time capsule for years. Regina said that she knew someone.

They also went to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. Emma whined at the staircase of the arc because it was winding and small. However, at the top, it was all worth it.

"Wow!" Emma exclaimed.

"And you say the staircases were shitty." Regina commented with a smirk on her face.

"They are! They are evil!" Emma glared at the staircases, which made Regina laugh.

"But it is worth it." Emma said quietly whilst looking at Regina whose eyes were glimmering along with the lights that were covering the town. It was nighttime again and they were still on the run for creating new memories. At some point during their day trip, they went to Pont des Arts and came across to the famous bridge, which held a big number of padlocks with engraved names.

"Have you ever tried putting one of these with him?" Emma asked hesitantly. Up to this point, she isn't sure if it is okay for her to ask anything about the person that Regina seemed to care deeply.

"No." Regina answered back.

"Why?" Emma asked again. With every question, her confidence seemed to double.

"He wanted to but I didn't. It seemed romantic for most people but what I thought was that, if we're forever—if there is such thing as that—then we are. We don't need to put some lock just to say that we will be forever. In my heart, we were forever but now…" Regina paused. " I am not even sure."

They walked silently after Regina's answer but it was comfortable, just as how Regina felt so comfortable when Emma grabbed her hand once again just like the night after their dinner.

Regina sensed Emma's eyes on hers. She didn't dare to look back; she was just contented with what they have right now.

Comfortable silence.

She knew it wasn't impossible for her to fall in love with someone like Emma.

She was like him. She knew she shouldn't compare what he had with Daniel to what she have right now with Emma. It was just that, one small move of Emma reminds Regina of what or who Daniel was before.

From the way she would act like a kid when she something amusing to the way she look at her.

They talked about him, how he was.

One would actually think that Emma was just trying to imitate her past lover but knowing the blonde in such a small amount of time, she knew she wasn't cruel.

A part of Regina was uncertain as to what she will do if her week end. She knew Emma lives in New York as she was but it doesn't change the fact that, once they go back, they will be in a different world.

Regina managing her own company.

Emma, taking pictures of god knows what.

Maybe she could hire her but it will be very silly for her to do so.

And she's working with Granny.

Of all people.

She respect that woman and she'll not do something drastic as that. She doesn't even know if everything they have as of the moment was just Emma helping Regina to create memories.

New memories to forget someone she loved so dearly.

It has been three years. And trusting someone had been a really hard thing for Regina but with Emma… she knew she could trust her.

Her head and heart told her.

And she hope she isn't wrong.

It wasn't for the second to the last night of their trip that they did go to the famous Eiffel tower.

The view from below was the usual view one can get. It was a spectacular piece of architecture. Gustav Eiffel wasn't famous for this for no reason. However, the view from above made Emma realized that, it was place on the center of Paris because it is supposed to be there.

The center of attraction.

And the same thing that will show you all of the good view of the whole.

"I heard they'll give you a free meal if you propose to someone." Emma commented, remembering that little something that she read back in New York.

"Are you going propose to have a free meal, Ms. Swan?" Regina asked, one eyebrow rising at the statement.

"Of course not. You are here, this is your week." Emma retort with a wink.

Regina felt something warm coiled in her stomach with the action, making her felt a little immobilized.

"I'm just kidding!" Emma immediately said seriously after seeing that the brunette was turn into stone. "Did I break you or something?"

Regina, who seemed to get over the feeling, retorted.

"You wouldn't do that… will you?" Emma looked at Regina with a scrunched face.

"break me." She said quietly.

It was really quiet that Emma had confirmed that they are not talking about what happened earlier. It was about Regina trusting her heart to a stranger.

It was fast.

But it was a feeling that can't be dismissed.

"Take a picture with me."

It was like a twisted way of Emma, trying to reassure Regina.

And they did.

"I really like you Regina." Emma said as sincerely as possible. They were currently snuggled to their room trying to relax after a whole night of exploration.

It always end up like that since the Arc de Triomphe night. It was seemed that they already had a mutual agreement as to what they would do after exploring the place.

They don't do anything aside from lying beside each other while Regina was reading and Emma was memorizing the other woman's face with her eyes.

They were just like that.

Comfortable.

"I know." Regina said, trying to act confidently where in fact she was nervous.

No one made Regina feel like this.

Not even Daniel.

"I am glad that you came with me even if I'm a total stranger." Emma said. Regina was about to say something, maybe a sassy remark about the book.

But they both knew that the book was long forgotten and that the trip imitating Dora the explorer was about them trying to try something new.

Something exciting.

"I know that it was stalkerish of me to say that I saw you before. Is it still stalkerish if I say… I was mesmerized with you and your laugh?"

"Emma, stalkerish is not even a word." Regina corrected.

Emma giggled.

"I know… but I'm being serious here. Can't you listen? Please?!" Emma countered.

Regina nodded much to Emma's satisfaction.

"Experiencing Paris the way we did for the last week was like experiencing a new life. It was something that I know I will cherish for the rest of my life. I am beyond attracted to you… not just because of your face but because you are an amazing woman. and I like you because of that. Whatever happen, I know you are always be a part of my heart. It may sound crazy but I think, you already have a compartment in here with your name on it." Emma smiled awkwardly.

Regina was astounded with Emma's words and she can't comprehend any words.

She lived for words.

But all of a sudden… they all died.

"Say something." Emma said, anxious at the silence.

Regina stared at Emma's blue green eyes that seemed to be a little bit darker with the dim light.

They say, actions speak louder than words.

Regina, for the first time, initiated the kiss.

It was soft, like a ghost kiss perhaps. Regina put her hand on Emma's cheek as she capture the other woman's lips. It was perfect.

They fit perfectly.

It was Emma who deepened the kiss as she sucked on Regina's lower lip. She darted out her tongue and trace the outline of Regina's lip. It slowly opened and Emma immediately pushed pass her tongue. Emma heard Regina growled low in her throat as she kissed back. As their tongue danced in a rhythm that only the two of them knew, both ladies felt the electricity rushing to their bodies. A groan escaped Emma's throat the need that pooled in her belly at the kiss.

They parted in the need of air. Both eyes connected trying to grasp what was happening but not really trying to stop it. Emma slowly creep her hand on Regina's satin clad body. Her adventurous hand find the buttons of the other woman, slowly, she unbuttoned each one by one revealing luscious skin that were needed to be devoured. Emma caught Regina's eyes on the process, the brunette eyes were darkened with lust. Emma groaned at the view infront of her.

Regina looks like a feline.

A hungry one, ready to devour.

Ready to be devoured.

Emma straddled Regina in one swift move and started kissing her neck, sucking the pulse which made the brunette latched her hands on her mane. Emma's mouth traveled down to her lover's collar bone, her other hand traveled downwards the Regina's full breast.

The skin to skin contact made her groan in desire.

Regina's body arched off the bed.

Slowly, the blonde began to massage the brunette's full breast, her mouth travelling to the other. She gently latched her mouth on the soft bud that immediately hardened at the contact of her warm tongue.

"Oh! Emma!" Regina moaned.

Emma smiled at the hoarse voice coming from the woman below her.

The hand that was caressing Regina tentatively reached out inside her pajamas, into her panties. Emma run her hand down the middle, feeling the soft, warm flesh pulsating under her hand.

Her hand was immediately got soaked; she earnestly rubbed it and was delighted with the hip buck response coming from Regina.

Emma connected her eyes with Regina once again and in one swift move, her lips captured the other woman. In response, Regina weaved her hands through the soft blonde mane of the woman straddling her. Regina let her hands explore; starting with the skin just above the garter of Emma's boy shorts. It illicit a moan from the other woman which made Regina smirked into the kiss. She slowly peeled Emma's shorts along with her underwear and tossed it somewhere at Emma's back.

Emma rocked her hips into Regina making the brunette moan in pleasure. The hand Emma used in caressing Regina's clit slowly parted the brunette's lower lips which immediately made her shudder in anticipation.

"oh" Regina moaned as Emma's finger slowly entered her.

"Re-regina.." Emma response hoarsely as Regina's tentative finger entered her and after a couple of seconds the brunette added another, her thumbs circling her clit slowly in the process.

The two of them created a rhythm.

Emma's other hand left Regina's body as she clutched to the mattress, as the pleasure inside her intensified. Emma thrust deeper into Regina. The other woman threw her head back and released her grip on Emma's hair. Her hands flew above her to the pillow, bawling firmly in her fist.

Struggle moans can be heard on them as they match each other's thrust with long and deliberate strokes. Emma used her thumb to press Regina's clit enough to make her legs part widely and buck up to Emma's eyes were screwed shut as they feel the buildup happening in their lower abdominals. They could feel the tightening around their fingers, sucking it to go deeper. Emma sucked and nicked Regina's flesh just below her ears in order to muffle the moans that were escaping her throat.

They both knew that they were coming undone and was about to be suck into oblivion. Emma was pulled into a searing kiss and she then felt the buildup explode. After a series of moans and gasps, the both began to come down.

Emma lingered for a bit above Regina, admiring the view. Beautiful was all Emma could think of. Regina slowly opened her eyes. Blue meeting brown ones.

"Hi!" Emma said hoarsely.

"Hey" Regina responded huskily.

They both smiled for a bit before Emma tentatively placed a kiss on Regina's lips. And with that, she peeled herself from Regina and lay beside her.

Regina closed her eyes as she could feel the tiredness of the activity that they just did, yet she could feel eyes watching hers. She slowly crept her hands towards Emma, grasping the hand that was just inside hers earlier.

She is not a cuddler.

But this time, she let herself be.

They both shut their eyes and savor the comfort in each other's arms.
