This chapter is just me killing off character. Have fun! :3
Chapter 14 - Crash and burn
(Sjin's POV)
Sjin and Minty made their way into the centre of town. About half way there, in a residential part, they came across a group of three including Duncan, but they didn't seem keen to fight and seeing as they were outnumbered they acted like they didn't see the group and headed straight for the bank in town.
Minty searched the ground floor for loot while Sjin took the second floor. He was just finishing clearing a chest when a scream pierced though air. Dashing to the railing, he was just in time to see Minty's limp body and a the boom of a cannon. He turned towards the stairs, but standing behind him was Rythian, sword drawn. Sjin leaned back on the railing, but lost his footing and stumbled over it, crashing into a pile of boxes below him. He looked around to see Zoey heaing towards him and tried to roll out of her way, causing her to set fire to the boxes he was just on. The fire spread quickly, singeing his clothes as he only just managed to get out the way. He stopped to get his breath back giving Rythian time to run down the stairs and come up behind him. Sjin noticed him coming but it was to late. Rythian pushed him backwards and he crashed into the fire and burned to death.
(Zoey's POV)
The second cannon rung through the air as Sjin's screams died down. Silently Zoey and Rythian turned around and made their way up the stairs to the back of the building where they had made a small camp. Teep had made his way back and was cooking food in the furnace. Zoey sat down, hugging her knees, Rythian walked over and sat down next to her.
"You ok, Zoey?"
"Yeah, I just, we killed them, I killed them. This is so messed up."
"It is, but we don't have a choice, we need to get out of here, alive. Lets get something to eat."
(Toby's POV)
Toby walked next to Ty and Kimi, and Wolf walked ahead of them.
"You ok Ty?" Toby asked
"Yeah, I'm just worried. I have a feeling I won't be making it out alive."
"Don't think like that, we have an awesome group! You should have seen Kimi and Wolf fight! They were like ninjas and I heard that Wolf is one of the best mages that ever lived!"
"That's kind of what I'm worried about. I know Kimi thinks she can get us all out alive but I don't see how and when everyone turns on each other who do you think is going to live?"
"Well, just try and stay positive. Come on, we should get to the bank."
They caught up with Kimi and Wolf and made their way cautiously into the bank. Glancing round and seeing no one, they began to hunt for loot. Toby kepy his eye on Ty and he went to check a chest in the center of the main room which was most likely empty, but there was no harm in looking. As he was looking around in some boxes, he heard Ty shout in pain. He turned round and ran to Ty who had fallen to the floor, dislodging an arrow form his leg. He knelt next to him and frantically searched for a health potion for his wound. He was just about to use the potion when another arrow came flying by, going straight into Ty's side and knocking him unconscious. The second arrow had caused Toby to drop the potion. He searched the ground but when he heard Kimi shout his name he looked up to see her across the other side of the room.
"Toby behind you!"
Toby turned round to see Rythian standing behind him. He was barely given time to gulp before the world went black.
(Kimi's POV)
Cursing under her breath she ran down the stairs shouting at Wolf to take care of Rythian. She lent down at Ty's and Toby's side and felt their pulse, Toby's pluse was still relatively strong whereas Ty's was almost gone. Frantically she reached for a healing potion and gave it to Ty but he was drifting too far. She couldn't let him die, she had promised Sophia she would keep him safe. She put her hands over the wound in his side and closed her eyes as she started to heal him when a flame shot up next to them.
She looked up to see Zoey standing next to her with a flint and steel in hand. Kimi stood up.
"Zoey, just put the flint and steel down I don't want to hurt you."
"Why would you not want to hurt me? We are fighting to the death here!"
Zoey sent another spark towards Kimi, but she moved out the way and caused the wooden floor to catch alight. The fire started to spread quickly.
"I'm sorry Zoey, I'm so so sorry. I'll talk to you soon."
Zoey stared at her and their gaze locked. Kimi could see what she was feeling, what she was thinking, but she didn't read her eyes. She could never do that to Zoey, but she did see one thing. Zoey had worked it out. Zoey's body froze to the spot.
"Are...are you? You are! Omygosh y...you!"
Zoey stuttered but Kimi didn't give her time to finish. With a clean swing of her sword, Zoey was sent crashing to the ground and a cannon sounded. She took out her bow and aimed at Teep, and shot him dead in one shot. She dropped to her knees, and putting out the fire she lent over Ty, but she was too late. A cannon sounded, then another. She turned round to Toby and felt for a pulse. There was none.
(Wolf's POV)
Four cannons sounded but Wolf barely noticed. He sent a pulse of energy towards Rythain as he dodged Rythian's attack. He had heard about this Rythian on his travels. He was said to be a very powerful mage, there was even a rumour he had End magic. If he did, he was not using it.
He was a challenge, yes, but Wolf liked a challenge. It was nice to have someone who could put up a good magic fight. It wasn't long until Wolf claimed victory.
He turned towards Kimi to find her kneeling on the ground with Toby and Ty lying still next to her.
"What happened?"
"They're dead. Zoey and Teep killed them. I could have stopped it you know. I could have kept them safe but I couldn't bring myself to kill them. The only reason I did was because she, she worked out who I am."
"What are you going to tell Martin and Sophia?"
"Martin is not the problem. Toby will be fine once this is all over."
"Sophia then?"
Kimi didn't reply, she picked up her bow and started to make her way to the exit.
"We should go meet the others."

Me: I feel evil after dis chapter but i probably shouldn't say much in fount of... were is Sophia?
Kimi: She's, uh not been looking forward to this chapter.
Crystal: You mean she been trying her best to stop you from writing this chapter cause she new what you were going to do but all she managed to do was delay you for a few weeks. Ow and she probably try killing you again.
