Chapter 17 - Split
(Kimi's POV)
No one dared to speak. Crystal stood up from her crouched position over Martin and turned towards the door. Ragnar turned to face wolf with a face of confusion. Sophia who still seemed to be in shock after the knife killed Martin. Finally Kimi looked up form the ground, standing slowly to see who had joined Wolf at the cave entrance. Ridge.
"Well your a cheery bunch!" Ridge said scanning the group. "and because of the grate mood I'm in I'm here to offer a little gift, i will let 3 of you live! I know how nice am i, well you better get fighting not all of us have all day." He began walking away in a random direction but he stopped and swerved back round to face them "ow before i go, red-purple hair girl what's your name?" Kimi stared at him, she wasn't sure what he was doing by letting 3 of them go and she couldn't help but think it was more than just him being nice. "My name's Kimi."
(Sophia's POV)
She wasn't to sure want just happened, but it must be good right. He said he would let three people live, and that's good she had no idea want Kimi was planning of doing to keep them all alive so three people out of five seemed like a good compromise. Wolf was the first to speck, "So what now? all v all or want, who's the two that's going to die?"
Ty was gone. she couldn't think straight, the reality hit her, he was really gone. The only reason she had tried so hard to survive was for Ty, so he could have a chance in life, so he could grow up and experience life, meet new people, learn new things, have a life. She always thought she had no chance to live properly that all she could do was give Ty a chance. Then Duncan gave her hope for not only a life for him but for her. She needed to believe Kimi that she could get them out alive, she needed to. Now Ty was gone and she couldn't help but think that Duncan was to. and if they were what was the point of her being here any more.
"You can kill me."
(Kimi's POV)
"You can kill me." It took everyone off guard but she could see that Ragnar and Wolf was considering killing her.
"NO, Sophia don't be silly you don't have to die we can find a way..." she started but Wolf cut her off. "Kimi no. No more of this 'i can save everyone no one has to die' Three people its the best offer were going to get so we might as well take it, and there's no point letting Sophia be one of the three if she wan't to die." He took out his sword and lunged at Sophia but Kimi got there first grabbing on to Sophia's wrist and pulling her away, she started sprinting pulling Sophia along with her, away form the other three.
(Crystal's POV)
Crystal watched as Kimi and Sophia disappeared into the forest leaving Crystal, Ragnar and Wolf standing in the clearing. "What now?" She said causing Wolf and Ragnar to look at her surprise she had spoken after so long in silence. "Well." Ragnar began "it's us verse them."
"So Crystal are you with us?" Wolf asked. Part of her wanted to go after them, they had been so kind to her they had been like friends to her, instead of staying with random dude that came and killed Duncan and the person who abandoned her as soon as they could. but she new she would have more chance of surviving with these two and she needed to live. Also it was nice that Wolf wanted her to team with them.
"I'm in."
2 more chapter left and a possible extra one if i feel like it. hoping to get this story finished in a few weeks then I'll put up a pole for want my next big bit of writing will be until I decided it will most likely be just one shots.
