Since the sixty fifth review has been left, here's the next chapter!
...
"Aomine-cchi! Momoi-cchi! Wait up, ssu!" A whiny voice echoed across the near empty school campus followed by a gruff command.
"Ah, shut up already baka!"
"As unrefined as ever, nanodayo."
"You too, Midorima-cchi? Did Akashi-cchi call everyone?"
"Ara~! Kise-chin, why are you so loud?" A crunch of chips was heard after this question.
"That is unhealthy."
"Eh." The crunching of chips didn't stop.
"Erm… Dai-chan, I think we should head to the gym already."
"Yeah yeah, whatever Satsuki."
"I'm serious! Akashi-kun hates to be kept waiting!" A snort followed her exclamation.
"Yeah, wouldn't want to keep his majesty waiting would we." The sarcasm was thick.
"I'm glad you think that way, Daiki." The five who were walking towards the gym froze at that sentence. It had a dangerous edge to it, that's for sure.
"Akashi-kun… I thought you said we were meeting inside the gym, not next to it." Momoi's nervous voice broke the silence and, suddenly, everyone was talking at once.
"Aka-chin~! I don't want to be here~! I ran out of snacks on the way, can I-"
"Akashi! Why are we here?! What are you doing out here?! You definitely said-"
"Akashi-cchi~! Why'd you call us here?! I gotta go to a shoot soon and Mai-cchi said I'd lose my head if I was late again and-"
"Akashi, what are we here for? We went over everything at the last practice, nanodayo, and I don't particularly care but-"
"Shut it, all of you." Silence came back as soon as that was said and Akashi turned towards Momoi. "I didn't ask you to come; I specifically said only Daiki, Shintarou, Ryouta, and Atsushi. You are dismissed. The rest of you, inside. Now." With that, everyone but Momoi, who was walking away dejectedly and wondering what Akashi had to talk about with them, went into the gym. Akashi walked in last, shutting the doors tightly.
"Why are we here, Akashi?" Midorima ventured to ask, pushing his glasses up as he leaned against the stage that the theatre department would use during plays and such. Everyone focused their attention on the red head that was walking towards them in a slow dramatic way.
"I'm glad you asked Shintarou." All four of the other boys sweat dropped at this – hadn't they all at one point asked already? "It's about Kuroko Tetsuya."
"Eh? Is Kuroko-cchi alright? He isn't hurt is he?! He's involved with the yakuza* isn't he! He had to borrow money to make his rent and they trapped him and-"A sharp sounding smack rang through the large building, echoing slightly. Aomine stood behind the fallen Kise, a tick mark on his head, with his hand still raised from where he had hit Kise upside his head.
"You idiot, if you want to make up scenarios, go ahead, but at least make them realistic!" Aomine glared down at Kise, mostly for putting the image in his head. "He's a model, more popular than you or Horikita Mai-chan, and you think he needed to borrow money from the yakuza to make rent?" Kise had the expression of someone who had just realized something.
"Though I wished I could say otherwise, Aomine has a point, nanodayo. If the famous 'Kuro Te-chan' could not make rent, where would that put you?" Midorima pushed his glasses up (is this the third time already?) as he killed Kise over and over in his mind because of the mental image he had put in his head. It was inappropriate to think of a classmate in rags with bulky men surrounding him and demanding inappropriate things of him. It really was. Especially with the expression the boy was making in his mind. One that should be completely illegal, in both the fantasy world and the real world.
"I wanna crush you, Kise-chin." Murasakibara held his hand out towards Kise with a glare.
"Oh… I guess you're right, ssu." Kise said, ignoring the last comment, then got a dreading expression. "It was his parents! They got involved with the yakuza and racked up a lot of debt before dying and passing it on to the young Kuroko-cchi forcing him to cross dress to make money. He just went out one day to sell himself to some drunkard and a talent agent found him and hired him on the spot!" Sweat drops were on everyone's head this time though they all couldn't help but imagine it. A young Kuroko going out in clothes he had stolen from a female classmate, hair slightly askew, and standing on the corner before a drunkard walked up to him. Akashi coughed to get their attention back.
"You're incorrect; his parents were both CEOs to large companies that merged with their marriage. At the current moment, both are being run by him." Akashi said, tapping the touch screen of his phone. "They are both alive and well; they're just both on vacation that is just masking their retirement. His grandmother didn't take the job so he was given both the companies."
"Oh… Then it was his childhood friend, ssu!" Another smack went through the gym, louder than the last one, along with multiple versions of 'shut up and die' were said.
Akashi looked at the male on the ground with amusement. "This has nothing to do with the yakuza. In fact, I only want to have you all promise something concerning Tetsuya."
"What do we need to promise to you when it's something about Tetsu?" Aomine was getting annoyed already; he wanted to go back home and sleep. Or look at his photobook containing pictures of Kur – Horikita Mai-chan! He doesn't have a photobook of Kuroko, why would he? Okay, he admits, he has one or two or maybe fifteen books on his bookshelf containing pictures of the blue haired male, but it wasn't like he just bought them a week ago or anything. Really, he didn't. It was at times like these that he was glad Akashi could not read minds.
"Aomine, stop thinking about your photobooks." The glare turned towards him made him want to go drown himself in Tokyo bay. At least that way, he could beat the yakuza to it* and save Akashi the money. "Aside from that, what I want you to promise me is quite simple."
"When it comes to you, it's never quite simple Akashi." Midorima stated, crossing his arms, during the pause that Akashi had let dramatically sit there.
"Oh, I assure you. This promise is really simple." Akashi smirked darkly, his gaze more intense than it had ever been. "All I desire for you to promise is a small thing."
"Tell us already, ssu!" Kise whined, sitting cross legged from where he was still on the ground, but shut up at the glare he was given by the shorter red head.
"If you would stop interrupting me with useless statements, I would be able to." Akashi stated, his glare darker than usual before it suddenly disappeared. "All I want is for you all to promise to give up on him." The silence was thick enough that you couldn't even cut it with a chain saw.
"You want us to… what?" Aomine was the first to speak, shattering the silence.
"Promise to give up on him." Akashi adopted a somewhat lazy position. "That is, if one of us can get his heart, the rest of us have to give up on him."
"What do you mean by 'get his heart', ssu?" Kise remained ignorant of the meaning of this sentence, tilting his head the side in confusion.
"I've seen all the expressions you all make around Tetsuya, I see your reactions to things he would say while you would react differently if it were someone else; I see everything. There is nothing my eyes miss. I know that you all have feelings for him. Though, the question is what does Tetsuya feel? We must respect that."
Silence.
"…. I'm definitely going to get Kuroko-cchi's heart before any of you jerks, ssu!" Kise suddenly stood up, a fire in his eyes that only showed when he knew he would be having a challenge.
"As if, you idiot!" Aomine growled at Kise, his posture changing from relaxed to threatening.
"Kise-chin and Mine-chin are being too hasty. Kuro-chin prefers snacks and books over you two." Murasakibara glared in the two hot-head's way lazily. Aomine looked over at Murasakibara in surprise.
"Really? Tetsu likes to read?" Aomine thought for a moment before realizing the shorter male almost always had a book with him. "I never noticed."
"Of course you wouldn't, nanodayo. You're too stupid to notice many details." Midorima pushed his glasses up again, looking off to the side with a calculating expression. In all reality, the only things he knew about romantic relationships came from the books that he read at times. And none of them said anything about how to woo a teenage male. Especially not one that was a female idol. In every way possible, he was lost about how to go about getting Kuroko's heart.
"Aomine-cchi really isn't all that smart, ssu." Kise looked off to the side as if he was disappointed while freaking out internally. Kuroko-cchi likes books?! Since when? When did this happen in all of the time that we've known each other?! I thought the only thing he really liked was modelling and vanilla milkshakes! Suddenly, an idea came to his mind. "Ah! I know what to do!" Kise grinned as he went through various scenarios of what would happen.
This sudden outburst stopped an argument that had erupted between Midorima and Aomine, Murasakibara putting in his opinion every once in a while, which was more Midorima insulting Aomine and Aomine yelling at Midorima. Murasakibara would decide randomly who to take the side of. Aomine whipped around towards the grinning blonde, realizing that the model had a plan and it didn't mean good news for Aomine. "Oh no you don't!" Aomine tackled Kise which started a wrestling match, while the other three ignored the two.
"Ne, Aka-chin. You said that you wanted us to promise but what about you?" Murasakibara spoke around the chocolate bar he had in his mouth as Midorima looked on in disgust and Akashi smirked slightly.
"I already have by proposing the promise for everyone. Besides, I have a plan in the future. Kuroko will be mine." Akashi said before turning away from the other four, Kise and Aomine yelling at him but unwilling to stop their match and Midorima and Murasakibara staring after him. Akashi looked back down to his cell phone screen to see that he had the information properly displayed. He clicked on the number, causing his phone to automatically dial it and call the other person.
"Hello?" A polite voice asked after a few rings, sounding happy and somewhat distracted.
"Hello, is this Takuya Shisui*?" Akashi smiled; he had a feeling that this wouldn't be too hard.
"Yeah? Is there something you need?" The male voice continued to sound completely distracted.
"This is about your next job. The one involving a certain… Kuro Te-chan." The silence made Akashi smirk. This was going to way too easy.
…
The yakuza are the Japanese mafia… Pretty violent people, supposedly, and most manga portray them as having the cover of a law firm or people who loan money to you… Mostly loan sharks… ^.^ Lovely, huh?
There is a stereotype on yakuza that they throw people who bother them or are in their way into Tokyo bay with a cement block attached to their ankles… So, yeah… Basically, Aomine is saying that Akashi either would hire the yakuza to throw him in Tokyo bay or that Akashi is part of the yakuza.
Takuya Shisui is a completely made up name, I have no clue what it means, all I know is that I made it up on the fly… But I feel as if I got Takuya, the last name, from Naruto or something… I don't know, but Shisui is definitely from Naruto… Sorry those of you who may find this annoying, I didn't want to name him Shisui but when I tried thinking up a different name, I couldn't think of anything else aside from Shisui… ^.^'
...
Fun, fun, Sei-kun is planning something! Wonder what it is? ;P Of course, you won't know until next chapter because I'm a jerk like that and I realize that Te-kun didn't make an appearance but it was all a part of the plan… I have a set plan ready for this story and I will not divert from that plan but if you have a request for something that doesn't change that plan; I will more than likely add it in… So…
Requests anyone?
