Chapter 6
The feelings were running deep, deep though his veins entwined with his blood. If he thought – it was about Gabriella, if he smiled – Gabriella. Eating, sleeping, dreaming, breathing, everything he did – he thought about Gabriella.
Troy Bolton was slowly falling in love with his best friend. That wouldn't be good for their situation. How could he sleep in the same bed as his best friend when he was head over heels in love with her – it seemed impossible.
Slowly every thought that consumed him was about Gabriella. He was happy and whistling and his band mates noticed.
"Dude what's up with you?" asked Chad.
Troy looked around them, he saw no one and Gabriella was not in sight either.
He leaned closer to Chad and the other guys.
"I think I'm in love with Brie," he whispered.
"Well it's about," chuckled Chad, slapping him on his back.
"What do you mean?" asked Troy.
As this conversation was going on Gabriella and Taylor were having a very similar one in the empty locker room.
"Taylor you have got to help me," whispered Gabriella frantically. "I don't know what to do."
"Are you in trouble?" asked Taylor.
"No," said Gabriella, getting changed.
"Then what?" asked Taylor, calmly.
Gabriella sank to the bench and cradled her head in her hands.
"I'm in love with Troy," she whispered.
