===Yami pov===
As dinner finally had arrived, I followed my father inside the dining room. I smiled gently as I saw Kiley sitting a man with long light green hair. A golden crown rested on his head, by my guess this must be Kiley's father. I looked at Kiley it was strange but, she had her lovely face covered with a veil. Why would she do that? Was she afraid to show her face when she was eating? She looked at me for a moment, I could see the happiness shine in her eyes. I smiled at her then turned to Karim, the holder of the millennium scale, he stood next to my father and began to introduce everyone to us.
"My pharaoh these are the guests who arrived today. This is King Dartz and his daughter princess Kiley from the Southern kingdom. The two lovely ladies are princess Anzu and princess Tea from the Easter kingdom." He said as he gestured to the ones he introduced
"It is nice to meet you all, I am happy all of you have journeyed so far to visit my kingdom. As rumor spreads of my time nearing, I am here to say they are true. My time is nearing and my final wish is to have my only son wedded." He explained
I looked at each one of them to see their reaction towards the news, Kiley looked worried at my father while Anzu and Tea looked at me…one of these three girls will become my bride. I sighed softly, all of them would try to compete to be the next queen. I looked back at the small girl Kiley, her eyes were kept away from mine. My father took his place at the head of the table, I sat on his right. The princess from the Southern kingdom was only mere inches away from me. She shifted uncomfortably and kept her gaze down. Maybe he was embarrassed about earlier, I gently placed my hand on hers. She quickly looked at me, I smiled gently at her. If it were for the veil, I could see her blushing.
"Are you feeling better angel?" I asked
"Yes, thank you for helping me to the healing chambers." She said
"We were so worried about you princess." Tea said
I looked up to see Tea and Anzu were looking at Kiley, both of them had a worried look on their faces. We could easily see the outline of Kiley's smile through the veil.
"Thank you for worrying about me, I am well now." She said
"You should be more careful princess Kiley, we don't want to have you faint again in front of the prince." Anzu said
Kiley's father wrapped his arm around her shoulder and placed a kissed on her forehead, the princess smiled happily.
"I will make sure she doesn't do it again, you will no longer need to worry." Her father said
Kiley looked down at her lap upset, I saw her clutch her dress tightly between her fingers. I frowned at her, why was she upset. Was it because, we were all worried for her?
"Would you lovely ladies like to join me in a tour of the city tomorrow?" I asked quickly changing the subject
"Of course we love to see the rest of the city." Tea said
"Princess Kiley?" I asked
She looked at me then back to her father, he nodded his head. I could see the outline of her smile, I smiled back at the princess. The servants arrived, the place many types of dishes on the table. The aroma of the food quickly spread throughout the room. I heard Kiley's stomach growl a bit, I couldn't help but chuckle as her face began to turn pink.
"Eat as much as you like." My father said
They all nodded they head, I looked at the twin princess as the only place a small portion of fruits on their plate. I looked back at Kiley as she had grabbed a sample of each dish. She slowly began to eat happily, I smiled as I began to eat my own food. During dinner we all made small talk, my Father and Dartz got along quite well. Anzu and Tea talked to a few of the priests while Kiley kept to herself. Once dinner was done, my father got up and clapped his hands together.
"I'm glad you all enjoyed your meal, please enjoy the rest of the night to yourselves. I will be retiring for the night." He said
We nodded our head, my father left the priests also excused themselves and left with him. I watched as Dartz came close to Kiley and whispered something to her, she nodded her head. Dartz stood up and bowed to me.
"I will also be retiring for the night." He said
"Enjoy your sleep, thank you for coming to the kingdom." I said
He nodded his head and left, I turned my attention back to Kiley. She shifted a bit then looked at me, she spoke softly in a quiet voice.
"Yami…could you…walk me back to my room please…" she said softly
I smiled happily and nodded my head, I helped her up onto her feet. She kept her eyes away from mine. I couldn't help but, frown at this.
"Yami?" Tea called
"What about us?" Anzu asked
"Would you girls like me to walk to your rooms too?" I asked
"That would be very kind of you to do." Tea said
They quickly got up and walked over to us, I began to lead the princess back to their room. I looked at Kiley as she once again began to play with her dress. Anzu and Tea noticed this, they walked over to her and smiled gently.
"You shouldn't do that, it will ruin your dress." Tea said
"Sorry, it's a habit." She said softly
"It's ok, it's such a plain dress though." Anzu said
"…is it?" Kiley whimpered
"Prince, what do you think?" Tea asked
I looked at Kiley's white dressed, as they said it was plain but I couldn't picture Kiley wearing more decorative outfits.
"I think it looks nice, I don't mind the simple things, actually princess Kiley looks lovely." I said
Kiley's face turned bright pink at the comment, I held back my chuckle. Anzu and Tea remained silent for a few moments then looked up and down at Kiley.
"Either way, why don't we do a bit of shopping tomorrow." Tea said
"Shopping?" Kiley questioned
"Yes, we can help out a nice lovely dress for you." Anzu said
"But…I like my dress." She said softly
"And there's nothing wrong with it, but a girl should always have a dress saved for a special occasion." Tea said
Before the twins princess could say another word we had reached their bedroom, I opened the door for them and smiled gently. They looked at Kiley once more then bed her and I a good night, I closed the door after they went inside. I looked back at Kiley, she tugged at her dress, slowly I lead her to her room.
"Prince…do you like my dress?" She asked softly
"It's a lovely dress princess, you shouldn't be worried what I will think of your dresses." I said
"I shouldn't." she questioned
"No, Kiley no matter what silks you were I will always think you are beautiful." I said
She stopped by her door, I could see part of her face glowing bright pink. I gently held her hand and kissed it, her face then started to darken to crimson. I smiled gently at her, slowly and carefully I reached out for her veil. She moved away, scared and frighten. My worried eyes looked at her.
"Forgive me, it's late….I should get to bed." She whimpered
"Oh…well sweet dreams to you princess." I said
She nodded her head and quickly went into her room, I sighed heavily and began to walk back to my room. Why did she move when I reached for her veil, did she not want me to see her blushing or was it something else? Maybe with more time she would be able to trust me.
===Kiley pov===
Quickly I went into my room closing the door behind me, I sighed in relief. The prince had gotten to close to taking off my veil …if he saw my bruises…I worry what would have happened. I looked at the hand the prince had kiss, I couldn't help but smile gently. He had been so kind to me and he has only known me for a short time…
"Kiley" a voice hissed
I jumped and looked up to see my father sitting on the bed, his arms crossed over his chest. I whimpered softly at his glare.
"Yes father." I said
"How close are you to having the prince marrying you." He said
"…I…I'm not sure." I whimpered
He got up from the bed and walked quickly in front of me, I whimpered as he raised his hand. I backed away hitting the door behind me, his eyes narrow darkly at me.
"But, he kissed my hand." I whimpered softly
He lowered his hand and looked at me for a few moments.
"What about the twins, did he also kiss their hands as well?" he asked
"No…he also said that no matter what silks I wear I would always be beautiful." I said softly
"…well I guess you are not useless after all. Soon you will have a promise ring on your finger." He said
I looked up at my father happily, hoping to see any sign of pride in me. My smile quickly faded when I saw no smile or any sign of happiness. No…he would not show me a smile until I have done my job and married the prince. I moved aside so he could reach the door.
"Tomorrow do more than to get a kiss on the hand." He said
"Yes father." I said
And with that he left without another word, I felt the hot tears run down my face. Why, why can't father love me…I never asked for anything from him…all I just want is my father's love and praise. I cuddle on the bed and cried myself into sleep.

Cat: I am so so so sorry for taking forever to update. I had a lot happened in the past couple months
Dark: we had to move back in with aibou's grandma because he dad had to move
Hikira: we also had to clean the whole house for the new people that were moving in
Cat: my boss has been making me work extra because we hired a new guy and our bosses were in town
Dark: and aibou had a bad case of writer's block with this chapter
