DLaO 4: Two Out

((A/N: HAIII-))

Ruby and Sapphire took off with a sprint, heading in a direction where they hoped where they wouldn't be caught, hopefully.

They left in the direction they came from.

"So what have we concluded?" Sapphire yelled.

"The Order seems to have started taking control of Life as well, it may not be safe to march right into Destruction now either." Ruby started panting. "I really hate running, it makes me sweat so mu-"

"We get it! Kalos is getting plunged into chaos, and all you care about is how you look!" She felt rage bubbling inside her, sure, Ruby could be a prissy, but Kalos was 'dying'! The peace that their ancestors had made was being entirely thrown off. The anger could not fade.

"I do not really care about what becomes of Kalos, I came here to find someone. As long as that person is safe, I won't really care about the well being of Kalos." Sapphire stopped in her tracks.

"Alright. Then leave and never come back. This is why we don't get along! You understand?! You all say we're selfish, but look at you! The very fact of which you live is being thrown away!" Sapphire turned to the Order soldiers heading this way. "If we were a little younger, or born in a different time, I wonder if we could of gotten along." And she drew her sword before heading towards all the soldiers.

Ruby stared agape, there were 7-8 soldiers already on the ground. He felt the itching urge to go fight with her, but the glare in her eyes when their gazes met told him otherwise.

For some reason, his chest felt strained.

Serena's POV

I felt uncomfortable, somehow, Sapphire going to the surface at this point seemed unsafe.

Severely unsafe.

I saw Lavender sitting alone, detached from the rest of the group. Everything I saw now was unsettling. Red getting close to a blonde girl from Life, Lavender becoming antisocial, Gold being repeatedly injured from Crystal, Faitsu actually not being nervous, Black being quiet.

And then there's him.

Prince Calem.

Supposedly my rival. My enemy, sitting in the same room as me, thinking, and not trying to kill me.

It's strange how the Order brought us all together forcefully.

[BOOM]

I jolted at the sound.

"Ruby's gun." Blue (?) jumped up, "He rarely uses it."

"Judging from the sound of the gun and the direction it came from." Lavender spoke in a monotone voice, "It's 25 metres away and to northeast."

Calem sprung up.

"We need to go find them, if we're only in the forest clearing, it'll be alright.

Lavender's POV

If I cried to Arceus, would he ease my suffering?

Serena ran out the room with Calem. Everyone here seemed to have a pair. Red with Yellow, Gold with Crystal, Faitsu with Rakutsu, many more I don't want to name. There was me, Silver, Black and... Emerald I think his name was?

We were alone.

It's unfair this cruel world isn't it? Is it not?

I refuse to acknowledge anyone now, defeating Order would never do me any good. I covered my mouth and smiled. This was going to be fun.

line break

Sapphire grunted as a soldier managed to stab his sword through a crack in her armor, the metal hit heavy chainmail as blood seeped through the fine holes between metal chains.

"Why are you helping me?! I don't need your help to care of these bastards!" She yelled.

"Because! I was partnered up with you, so I'll keep it that way!"

Sapphire smirked, "As long as you don't hold me back." She turned her head back, "I never forgave you, remember that."

Suddenly Sapphire froze, "WHAT THE-"

The Elite Officer walked up to us, "I am Olympia, Psychic Master." She said calmly. "Tell me your reason for visiting Anistar City."

"It's a Life town, is that a bad reason?" Ruby said carefully.

"Life? There will be no more Life or Destruction. All that will remain will be Order. Do you not understand?" Olympia said walking closer.

"Ru...by... Run... Go tell Serena and... Prin... Calem..." Sapphire's voice was restrained through the psychic power.

"There's no way I'm leaving. I've made that mistake already." He said, his eyes blazing with anger.

"You're powerless to stop me boy." The psychic rolled her eyes. Suddenly the ground cracked beneath her feet slightly.

Ruby's eyes widened, he concentrated more and the ground slowly formed a slight ledge around Olympia.

"Such a waste of potential." Sighing, Olympia raised her hands up and shattered Ruby's concentration, freezing him as well.

Calem and Serena couldn't see all this happening, but they could hear everything.

"Sapphire..."

"Ruby... Damnit..."

Serena looked downcast, "will they be okay?" She spoke softly.

Calem put his hand in her shoulder, "They'll make it. They're both strong people."

Crystal's POV

I cannot take it anymore! This stupid Gold, and his stupid pranks!

I sat down before a boy with long red hair, sighing at how much another young girl from Destruction yelled repeatedly at Gold to act his age.

That girl seemed to no longer care.

"Hoiiii!~ Super Serious Gal?" I heard Gold's voice call.

Super... Serious Gal? I snapped.

"ALRIGHT GOLD WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?" I yelled, standing up again, the girl I was thinking about earlier pointed her finger left.

When I faced Gold, the color drained from his face.

"Ahhh... Heheheh..." Gold laughed nervously, "Ummm... Hey SSG?"

A demonic glare came across my face. "Hello Gold, are you happy now?"

He gulped, "Why would I be happy?"

"Because you now have what you asked for..." I cracked my ankles by spinning them. "My FULL attention!"
