Chapter 2
It was being called the mother - daughter fight of the century. Montez vs Montez. Gabriella vs Maria. Who the victor was no one was sure but both party had left finishing with a wounding remark. Gabriella was over weight, lazy and living of her grandfather's name and money. While her mother was a selfless bitch, workaholic, who had no time from her children and never wanted them in the first place. Her workaholic state and her drive to be the best had been what had driven Gabriella's father away.
Now Gabriella was trying to compose herself and find Troy.
Where are you?
Gabs
Still in the on call room.
Sorry.
Troy
"You said you'd have my back," exclaimed Gabriella, as she stromed into the on call room.
"I'm sorry I feel asleep again. I'm only human," shrugged Troy.
"I have just had the biggest public fight with my mother. Now everyone knows what we think of each other and that I am dating you to get surgeries and a higher status in the world of medicine," scoffed Gabriella, lying down next to him.
"But your not," smiled Troy.
"Of course I'm not but I'm a Montez, I'm meant to be cutthroat so I must be – according to my mother anyway," sighed Gabriella, her mind drifting to that portion on the fight.
"You're living of your grandfather's name Gabriella. You're never going to get anywhere if you do that and if you keep dating that Bolton guy you won't get anywhere. No one likes a suck up hunny," hissed her mother.
"As it not occurred to you that I may not be with Troy because I like not because I want his surgeries I couldn't give a damn about his surgeries," shouted Gabriella.
"You're fat and lazy I don't know what a man like him sees in you," smirked her mother.
"You are a selfless bitch who cared more about work then you did you're only family. If you want to point fingers about trying to get up the ladder then why don't we talk about how you only married dad for his name and status. Don't criticize my good relationship just because you're marriage failed because of you're work ethic," snapped Gabriella, her eyes blazing. With that comment she started to walk off.
"I knew I shouldn't have had children," sighed her mother.
Gabriella whirled back around.
"You don't want me as your kid that fine!" she shouted. "I no longer consider you as my mother!"
"Gabriella," said Troy.
"Hmm," said Gabriella, snapping out her thoughts.
"You went off somewhere," laughed Troy.
"I was just thinking about the fight," sighed Gabriella. "Do you think I'm fat?"
"Hmm let me see," smirked Troy, his hands reaching for Gabriella's waist.
Within seconds Gabriella shirt was discarded on the floor and she was in giggles as Troy kissed her entire torso.
"I think you're beautiful," smiled Troy as he glanced up at her.
"I'm not lazy?" asked Gabriella.
Troy shook his head against her stomach.
Giggles soon turned to moans which turned to sighs and soon after quiet as there pair slept. Well Gabriella did as Troy lay next to her propped up on his side – watching her and stroking her hair lightly with his hand.
