Chapter 3

There were whispers in the corridors. Looks in the ER and glares in the OR's – when she was allowed in them. Dr Zelman had, had her black listed. Though none of the attendings listened to it – the chief had said she wasn't.

All that mattered was that Troy and Gabriella knew that they together for each other and nothing else.

Everything with everyone mum and colleagues would smooth out eventually. For now they would be happy with each other.

Epilogue

Following in her granddad's footsteps Gabriella became a truly brilliant surgeon. She became a neuro surgeon like Troy and they were a ream team.

The only time they didn't work together was when Gabriella had given birth to their gorgeous daughter Mia.

They were a dream team as surgeons, husband and wife and as parents.
