Chapter 8: All of Japan's police!?

The oldest is the pride, the heir.

Never shall loss be accepted.

A katana is the weapon of choice.

Hanasaki over everything!

Book of Heritage from the Hanasaki family

Hanasaki Estate (Tokyo)

After Sakuya had finished training Kuroko, she helped Midorima and Muraskibara the following two weeks. It was the beginning of the fourth week of the training camp.

Everyone was eating breakfast when suddenly the phone rang. Momoi stood up and picked it up.

"Yes? Hanasaki Estate here…"

"TPF here! Emergency! Miss Hanasaki must come immediately!"

Momoi's eyes widened at the mention of the Tokyo Police Force.

"Sakuya! It's TPF! Emergency!"

Sakuya stood up and went upstairs to get her coat.

"Wait, we'll come too!"

Sakuya sighed, but waited nonetheless.

After the boys were ready, they headed over to TPF's quarters.

"Miss Hanasaki! Finally!"

"What is it?"

"Prisoners No. XXX, XXX, XXX and XXX escaped when they were brought to the-"

"Ahh, Miss Hanasaki! The criminals from cells XXX, XXX, XXX, XXX and XXX escaped!"

Another police officer came running towards the group.

"Miss Hanasaki, nice timing! Someone hacked into the security system and opened all the cells! Every prisoner escaped!"

And another officer came after another. It was chaos.

"STOP! I'll take care of it!"

Sakuya's shout immediately caused silence. She went to one of the computers and started to fix the security system.

"Tell everyone to close every door, window and so on. Keep the prisoners inside!"

"Yes, madam!"

The teenagers were still frozen on the spot. After a while, Sakuya had finished.

"What are you guys staying there like that? Get to safety!"

The teenagers woke up in an instant and ran down the hallway Sakuya had pointed to. Except for Takao.

Sakuya sighed. She knew that he wouldn't leave. She grabbed a gun and went to the opposite direction. Takao followed her.

On the way, she grabbed a katana, that had been lying on the floor. After a little bit of walking, they encountered three criminals.

Sakuya immediately started taking them out. Just when she had taken out two of them, the third one tried to attack her from behind, only to be hit rather hard on the head by Takao, who grinned at Sakuya, while showing the victory sign.

This happened quite often till the two of them reached the other end of the building.

The officers were fighting the criminals too and Sakuya lend them a hand while Takao helped the other officers to put the defeated prisoners into the cells.

Meanwhile the Generation of Miarcles, Kagami, Kuroko and the girls were fighting off one criminal after another.

They were all panicking, so often it ended that Murasakibara hit the criminals' head hard or Kagami punching the stomach or Aomine kicking the prisoners. Sometimes the girls' screams would be enough.

But after some time they reached a big hall and found many police officers, who were putting the criminals back into cells that were underground.

After each of the prisoners was captured again, the officers returned to what they were doing while the teens and an older officer went into an office to rest.

"Thank you so much, Miss Hanasaki! I can't find fitting words to describe my gratitude."

"That is not necessary. I know that father is out of town this week. And by the way, Sakuya's fine."

"Still, Miss Sakuya's abilities are far superior to the chairman's skills when he was an adult."

"I had help." Sakuya smiled at Takao, who blushed slightly. Midorima on the other hand hugged him tighter.

"Ehm…", Riko spoke up.

"Yes?"

"Why was Sakuya of all people called?"

"Miss Sakuya is the heir to all of Japan's police forces. The chairman said to call her in emergency situations."

Silence… The boys were processing the information that had just been given to them.

"EHEEEEE!? All of Japan's police forces!?"

Sakuya and the officer covered their ears.

"Do-do-does that mean the Saku-chan has to do this often?", Momoi was stuttering.

Sakuya nodded.

"Ehhheee? Isn't that exhausting? Being an idol, a student, a National player and now our coach?" Kise's eyes were huge. He couldn't believe that a girl only one year older than he was, had this many duties and responsibilities.

Sakuya nodded again.

"But… Aren't you a girl? I thought, girls couldn't inherit something unless married…"

Midorima looked very confused. It didn't make sense to him at all.

"Well, Shintaro.", Akashi said. "The Hanasaki family is very special with their heritage rules."

"Let me explain it to you.", Sakuya spoke fairly quiet. "Our book of heritage states that the oldest is the heir, the pride of the family. I may have a younger brother, but still…"

Midorima still looked at her questioning.

Sakuya sighed and continued to explain.

"It's always the oldest, only not when in jail, in coma, has fatal disease or dead. If it's a female, then she must marry before her 20th birthday and her husband will be president when she becomes pregnant with the first child. Happy now?"

Midorima nodded. The officer chuckled lightly. The teens turned towards him.

"Miss Sakuya has been trained for this since she was very young. She is said to be the best heir the Hanasaki family has ever seen, though she collapses sometimes."

The older officer chuckled at Sakuya, who pouted a bit.

Takao then remembered something, after hearing that Sakuya had collapsed sometimes.

"Nee, Takao-kun?"

The four-year old boy turned around. In front of him was a young girl with light brown hair.

"Do you want to pair up with me?"

Takao nodded.

"Sakuya, don't go near him! He's creepy and scary! He can see you even if you're behind him and hiding!"

"So what?"

Sakuya grabbed Takao's hand and the two paired up to go to the treasure hunt.

In the end they won and Sakuya became Takao's best and only friend.

One day, when Takao and Sakuya were playing, Sakuya collapsed. Just like that.

Takao couldn't wake her and ran to the day-care teacher, who in turn brought Sakuya in and tucked her into a bed.

She changed Sakuya's clothes as she collapsed right onto the muddy ground. Takao noticed many white stripes around certain body parts of Sakuya.

He panicked and asked the teacher what those were.

The teacher comforted him and said: "Those are bandages. They help injuries to heal."

Takao nodded and smiled, happy that Sakuya was alright.

"-ao! Takao! TAKAO!"

Takao jolted up from his daydream.

"Shin-chan! Don't scare me like that!"

"We have to go. Get up from my lap."

"Hai, hai. Ace-sama~"

Midorima just tch'ed at Takao when he stood up.

Hanasaki Estate (Tokyo)

After arriving, it was already lunchtime, so Sakuya and the other two girls went into the kitchen, but Kagami offered to help and then the others too.

Sakuya basically had nothing to do, so she just stood there supervising the others.

She grinned. She knew why the boys were acting like that. They felt bad for making her work that much.

It was the last day of the training camp and the boys were packing. Sakuya and the girls were making breakfast.

"Breakfast is finished! Come down!"

The boys came down and started eating. It was a lively breakfast and Sakuya was smiling throughout.

After breakfast, the boys finished packing and prepared to leave the Hanasaki Estate.

"Guys, short gathering, now!"

The boys went to the living room. Sakuya was sitting there with another pile of notebooks.

One after another she gave each of them two notebooks and a ticket.

"It's for my last concert. I'll retire as an idol."
