Darkwing Duck flew around the city in his amazing aircraft the Thunderquack. He built it for the use of air patrol and to avoid traffic jams. He had been looking for Morgana and Gosalyn for two days now, but he could not find them. No matter how hard he looked, he just came up empty handed. He asked a lot of people if they had heard of or seen Negaduck, or the girls, but still he got nowhere. He only hoped that they were alright.
It was about sunset of the third day and Darkwing Duck was about to give up when he heard Negaduck on the radio. He thought to himself. I wonder if this is the break I need to find Negaduck, Gosalyn and Morgana?
Darkwing listened to Negaduck's announcement. "Attention People of St. Canard. I, the one and only Negaduck demand four million dollars to be delivered to the east docks by midnight or I will kill Gosalyn Mallard, Morgana McCawber, and Commissioner Hopper in the worst way!" he ordered with a evil laugh. "I hope you're listening Darkwing Duck because I'm calling you out to stop me if you can," he added.
Darkwing knew he had only five hours to find Negaduck's hideout, but he had no idea where to look because he had been over the whole city except for one place, the construction site where Michael Darkduck died.
Meanwhile at the construction site, Negaduck was trying to seduce Morgana into joining him by offering her power and stolen jewelry, but she would have none of it. Because as everyone knows: Crime doesn't pay.
"I would never break the law, or join you, Negaduck!" barked Morgana as she held Gosalyn in her arms to keep her safe. "Now let us go free or you will pay dearly for this!" she demanded.
"Morgana, darling, I had a girl in my life, and her name was Clovis," explained Negaduck sadly. "Clovis and I were planing to have a great future together, but when she thought that I was dead, she threw herself out a window, and that's why I'm asking you to join me, or you will die if you don't join me," he said with a evil smile.
Gosalyn knew who Negaduck was now. "You're Michael Darkduck, because Taurus Bulba had a secretary named Clovis who was rumored to have been in love with you." she stated with amazement. Morgana saw why he wanted her to join him. "The night when you and Darkwing Duck met , you took notice of me," she said with a frown.
"Mostly because of your beauty, Miss McCawber," added Hammerhead Hannigan who was now Negaduck's top henchman.
Morgana hated men who only wanted to date her because she was beautiful. But now she really hated the type who wanted her for her beauty and wanted her to turn to a life of crime. Still, she refused Negaduck's offer of power even though it would cost her life.
Just then Negaduck saw something coming in fast from above the clouds. What was it? It looked like a jet of some kind, but it didn't bother Negaduck at all because he was ready for anything. That was until he heard a familiar voice broadcasting on his radio.
"I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am your worst nightmare! I am Darkwing Duck!" announced Darkwing over the radio. "I have come to stop your dastardly plan, and I will put you behind bars, Negaduck!" he added with a growl.
Negaduck could not believe it, Darkwing had a jet. It made him angry to see that his plans were not going to work out, but also he was going to have a hard time getting rid of Darkwing Duck. He turned to Hammerhead with a glare.
"Hammerhead, why didn't you bother to tell me that he had a jet!" he screamed. "Gee, Boss, we didn't know until now, but don't worry we'll take him off the air," assured Hammerhead with a smile.
Hammerhead took out a walkie-talkie from his coat pocket and spoke into it. "Pluck that Duck out of the sky, boys!" he ordered.
On the top floor Negaduck's goons fired anti-aircraft missiles at the Thunderquack, and one of Negaducks choppers fired some missiles, but Darkwing just evaded the missiles. He flew toward the construction site. A few seconds from now, he'd be directly over Negaduck and his goons.
It was time to put a end to the villain's plan. Once and for all.
Darkwing flipped a switch on the control board. He turned on the weapon systems. A computer voice announced when each of the devices was properly deployed. "Laser guns and heat-seeking missiles armed."
Darkwing fired a heat-seeking missile at the chopper. The chopper took a hit, and fell to the street below. Negaduck grew even more angry. Then Darkwing fired his laser at the missile crew, the laser hit the floor and burned through it. The floor gave way and Negaduck's goons fell out of sight, now all that was left was Negaduck.
"Well, Boss, I guess we're screwed," shivered Hammerhead, as Negaduck shook his head in frustration. "Hammerhead, give me your damn gun," he ordered while keeping his eye on the Thunderquck.
Hammerhead calmly took out his colt 45 and handed it to Negaduck. Without warning he shot hammerhead in the head. "I nailed you right between the eyes!" he laughed evilly, as Hammerhead fell to the floor. He then turned to Gosalyn and Morgana who were shocked of what he did to his own henchman.
"Girls, Darkwing might be a great flier, but can he do air rescue?" he laughed.
Negaduck went to the control board and he turned on the crane. Morgan and Gosalyn looked up and saw Commissioner Hopper tied to the crane's hook. Negaduck flipped a switch, and Hopper fell from the hook. Darkwing saw Commissioner Hopper falling to his death, but he flipped a switch and net deployed and caught Hopper.
This made Negaduck furious, his goons were taken out and now Commissioner Hopper was safe. Darkwing put Hopper down on a roof of a building just across the street from the construction site. He then was ready for Negaduck, but one of Negaduck's goons who was on ground floor of the construction site fired a missile. The missile came to fast for Darkwing to see it, and the missile struck the under belly of the Thunderquack.
Morgana and Gosalyn were horrified to see the Thunderquack explode and crash to the street below. Darkwing was their only hope, but now all hope of escape seemed lost. Negaduck laughed in triumph and then turned to them. "Well at least I still have you," he said boastful with a evil smile.
Gosalyn rushed toward Negaduck in anger. "You murdering Psychopath! I'll kill you!" she screamed hitting him repeatedly in the chest. Negaduck just pushed Gosalyn away from him, pointed Hammerhead's gun at her, and smiled at Morgana.
"For the last time, Morgana!" snapped Negaduck. "Join me, or join Darkwing in the grave after the child joins him!"
Before Morgana could answer Negaduck. A fist smashed into Negaduck's jaw, knocking him away from Gosalyn, sending him to the floor.
"Darkwing," cried Morgana and Gosalyn happily.
Darkwing had bailed out just as the Thunderquack exploded and came to the rescue of the girls, but he had to first deal with the villain. The villain who could take everything he loved away from him.
Negaduck got to his feet and tried stab Darkwing with a knife, but he knocked knife from Negaduck's hand, and grabbed him. "I'm going to kill you," he said.
"You idiot," howled Negaduck. "You made me! Remember? You dropped me off this construction site on our first meeting. That wasn't easy to get over, and don't think that I didn't try."
"I know you did," said Darkwing as he slammed his fist into Negaduck's stomach.
Darkwing then threw Negaduck into a pile of boards. The wood splintered and Negaduck struggled to get up, but Darkwing grabbed his cape and pulled him to his feet. He then slammed his fist into Negaduck's face, sending him back bleeding from the blow, but he remained standing.
"Guys like you killed my parents!" said Darkwing in a low, but strong voice.
Negaduck was confused about this fact. "What are you talking about?" he asked as he spit some blood out of his mouth.
Darkwing moved slowly toward Negaduck. "I made you. You villains made me first." he growled as he moved closer to him his fists balled up.
"Hey look, Darkwing," protested Negaduck moving backwards toward the edge of the roof. "I was a kid when guys like me killed your parents." he laughed weakly as he stopped at the edge of the roof. "This is crazy isn't? How childish can you get, Darkwing?" he said putting his hands in the air.
Just then to wrist pistols popped out of Negaduck's sleeves, and before Darkwing could react, he was shot in the right shoulder and in the chest. He fell to the ground, groaning in pain, and Negaduck loomed over him with a psychopathic smile, but before he could finish off Darkwing for good something happened.
Morgana's eyes were glowing red, she then waved her right hand and lighting appeared over his head. Negaduck stepped back as lighting struck the ground before him. He lost his footing and fell off the roof, but he found himself trapped in a shield of energy. Darkwing and Gosalyn were just as shocked of what happened.
"You're a witch, Morgana?" Darkwing asked weakly, as Morgana got down on her knees to help him. "I didn't want any to know that I was a witch because it would be bad for the world of magic," she explained as she looked at the wounds.
Gosalyn held her father's hand tightly. "What are we going to do, Morgana?" she cried.
Morgana just put her hands on Darkwing's wounds. Her hands glowed light blue and then the wounds were gone. Darkwing got to his feet and looked into her eyes, she did the same. They both knew that they loved each other because they helped one another.
Just then they heard police sirens coming, they grabbed Gosalyn, and then headed for home, but Darkwing left a note for the police.
That night Commissioner Hopper called a press conference at police headquarters and hundreds of reporters came to hear what he had to say. Hopper just looked into the beautiful night sky and saw Darkwing Duck standing on a stone gargoyle that hung from a church just across the street from headquarters. He then turned to the reporters and made his big announcement.
"Are police have rounded up all of Negaduck's men, but Negaduck was taken care of by our savior-Darkwing Duck, who saved my life, as well as Morganan McCawber, and Gosalyn Mallard," he said with a smile. "I have here, a note that Darkwing Duck left for me to read to you all."
He then pulled out the note. The reporters all looked on with excitement as Hopper help the note up to read it.
The note read: "People of St. Canard, I Darkwing Duck have given your city a rest from crime. But if the forces of evil threaten the city, call me and I will come."
Morgana upon hearing what Hopper read called from the crowd of reporters. "How do we call him?" she asked, even though she knew what was going to happen because Darkwing told her about how he will get the call of help.
"He gave us a signal." Hopper replied as turned on a searchlight that had two letter that said DW.
The reporters all cheered as the light hit the clouds, Darkwing Duck watched from atop the church and smiled, he made the city safe, won Morgana's heart and made his daughter, Gosalyn proud that he was there for her.
