A/N: I'm sorry! I don't like putting AN at the start of a chapter unless I have to. And... Well I have too. Okay so I don't know a lot about Zerefs magic. So umm... I'm winging it. Sorry! Really am! Please review and no AN at the end of this chapter.

With all the demons and dark mages attacking Zeref decided he wanted to go down and bring back Lucy Heartfilia. Of course that meant kill Natsu Dragneel as well. He walk over to his window and jumped out of his library. He land softly on the grass right behind both his targets. He stepped on a branch so they would notice him. They both spun around so fast they were dizzy. He was amused at this. "Lucy?" Zeref asked in the whiniest voice he could. "Why did you leave me? And for this pyro?" He said still whining. Of course he couldn't really feel any emotion for anyone but still. He wanted to play with them a little.

Natsu glared at the man- wait- no that's wrong. He's not even a man. More like devil. Okay so Natsu glared at the devil in front of him. He knew that Lucy was ether out of magic or about to be. "Lucy get away. Go to Erza or Master." Natsu whispered to her. "No. I'm staying here." He heard her say. Natsu grunted at her. Knowing that now was no time to argue with her. He set his fist a flame and started attacking Zeref. "DIE!" Natsu screamed out. "You must kill him Natsu. I'll be right here with you.' Igneel said inside Natsus head. "Thank you father." Natsu whispered as he hit Zeref with his fist.

Lucy Watched as Natsu started fighting Zeref. She couldn't do much and with her magic almost gone she felt useless. Lucy watched as Natsu was sent flying into the tress. She watched as he got back up with a few cuts but other wise not hurt. Natsu lunged at Zeref again. "Fire Dragons Roar!" She heard Natsu yell. She need to help. Lucy grabbed her whip and started to take out some of the dark mages that were about to attack Natsu. She mange to knock out a few of them but more were coming. She heard Natsu scream in pain. Lucy turned around and what she saw made her blood run cold. Her heart hurt and she felt as if her life ended.

Natsu was fighting with Zeref when he felt something go into his stomach. He coughed up blood as he looked down. A spear. Zeref had stabbed him with a dark shadow spear. Natsu did the only thing he could think of as he heard Lucy scream. He turned up his body heat. He temp went from 99.7 F to 980 F in a mater of seconds. Zeref toke his hand away from being burnt but left the spear in Natsus stomach. The spear wasn't burning and Natsu felt his magic drain. He put his hands on the spear and pulled with all his might. He heard the sound of ripping and saw that the spear was out but he now had a whole in his stomach that was bleeding like crazy. He head Master yell out something that sounded like 'Fairy Law' and then everything was surround by a bright light.

Lucy scream out as she saw Natsu a flame and a spear in his stomach. She watched as he pulled it out and Zeref smirk at him. Lucy ran over to Natsu and saw he was about to pass out. She heard Master use Fairy law and saw as the dark mages were wiped out but the demons were still standing. She felt some what relived that there were not as many enemies as before. She heard Zeref laugh and she turned to look at him. He was looking down at her smirking. "So Princess have you given up yet?" Zeref asked. Not caring about what was going on around him. Lucy felt her blood turn to the boiling point. She screamed out in rage. Lucy felt her head get dizzy and her arms started moving on there own. She felt as if she was watching a movie from her point of view she couldn't see her self but she could see everything in front of her.

She heard her self yell something then her fist went alight. "Dark Slayers PUNCH!" She heard her voice yell out as she watch her self lunging towards Zeref. He had a look of mild surprise on his face as he felt her punch him. He fist was glowing white. Zeref lit his fist with dark magic. Lucy cried out getting ready to throw another punch. Zeref glared at her as he blocked her punches.

Lucys P.O.V.

Natsu! I went into a fit of sheer rage. I was blindly attacking Zeref with all I could. I felt magic well up inside of me. An image of Momma flashed inside of my mind. Then Natsu. Then all of Fairy Tail. And last, Father. I felt my rage build. My family. Momma and Father may be gone but Fairy Tail wasn't. I refuse to let some hurt my family. Refuse!

I punched Zeref with all my power. He was pushed back into a tree but still got up. He came at me screaming "Toketsu!". I felt my body becoming heave and slowly stopping. I cried out with no reply. I looked to see if anyone was around. No one. I was fighting this one all alone. I looked down at Natsu. He was bleeding so much. So... so much. I screamed out in pain. My heart was hurting. It was hurting so much. Natsu grunted in pain. I looked down at him. He was burning his stomach closed. Burning it close. I gasped horrified. Zeref looked at Natsu surprised.

"Lucy.."

Who's there? I looked around as much as I could. I couldn't really move my neck so I couldn't really see much Zeref was powering up his magic getting ready to attack me and Natsu.

"Lucy! My name is Igneel. I'm going to tell you how to use a magic called Dark Slayer."

Igneel!? As In NATSUS FATHER! Where are you! Please tell me!

"Don't worry about that. First focus all your magic to go to your hands."

I did as I was told. My hands started to glow a bright yellow.

"Good. Now with everything you have move you arms."

I tried to move my arms but they didn't want to move. I saw Zeref kicking Natsu as Natsu started getting back up. I tried again and this time I was able to move my hands a little bit.

"Good, Once you can move again attack Him while saying 'Darkness be gone, Light come forth, Let the Light shine and bring back the happiness of the ones I love.' Understood?"

Got it. I was able to move now so I ran over to Natsu and Zeref. I let my emotions take over. I felt sad, angry, love, hated, and hope. My whole body started glowing like the sun. "Darkness Be Gone!" I yelled out as Zeref ran over to me with a spear. Th same one he used on Natsu. It was still dripping in his blood. "Light come forth!" I yelled out the next line as I just barely dodged his attack. "And Bring back!" I yelled but movement caught my eye. "The happiness of the ones I love!" I screamed out as I was stabbed in the shoulder. I just barely saw Erza stabbing Zeref and Natsu breathing fire. Then everything was white. I closed my eyes.

When I opened them again I was floating in a world of white. The only thing other then me was Zeref. He was on the ground dead. Well I thought he was dead in till He coughed. I backed up. I didn't have any magic left. Then Natsu appeared. Then Erza. Then all of Fairy Tail. I could now clearly see everything around me. And I could fell the pain in my body from the stab. I screamed out in pain as I felt something being pulled out of my shoulder.

"I'm sorry! Hold on a little longer." Wendy said. All I could do was nod weakly. Natsu finished Zeref of with one last punch to the face. He then limped over to me and collapsed. He was lying right next to me. He toke my. "Don't leave me." I said. He nodded. "Same goes to you." He said then passed out. I felt tears leave my eyes. The world start to black. I was passing out. Great. Then. Everything was gone.

"Is he really dead?" Gray asked as Juvia hung on to his arm since she was unable to stand. "Yes." Erza said as she fell to the ground. She was covered in stab wounds and was bleeding all over. The only ones that could really stand were Wendy, Laxus, Gray, Master, Lisanna and the 3 flying, talking cats. All the other were ether passed out or slumped on the ground. Even the one able to stand weren't doing to well. "And the demons?" Juiva asked. Master nodded. "Dead. We need to get back to the guild." Master said. Virgo and Loke appeared with a puff of smoke. "We'll take you." Virgo said. Loke just nodded. He was bandaged up around his torso and head. Virgo went to the ones that were passed out and touched them as Wendy touched her shoulder. The she was gone. Loke put his hands on Lucy and Natsu. Erza was able to stay awake long enough to grab his arm. The Loke was gone. The two spirits did this in till everyone was back at the guild.

Master was the last one to be brought back to the guild. But be for he left he went over to check Zeref. Zeref used his last breath of air to tell Mast one last thing. "She's the key to bring the dragons back. Kill her and they return." Was the last thing Zeref said to the Master as he died.

Lucy was floating in lava but it wasn't burning her. She slowly opened her eyes and saw she was right above the lava and screamed. But then she noticed it wasn't burning her. She was warm but not to warm. She looked around and saw two huge green snake-like eyes. Lucy screamed again and jumped back. The owner of the eyes was a dragon. Not any dragon though, this dragon was Igneel. Igneel laughed at the small human girl. "No need to fear Lucy. I am The All And Powerful Igneel!" The dragon said while laughing. Another dragon came up behind of him. "Igneel, the all mighty, Igneel, the powerful, Igneel the strongest! Oh please. That just make me want to laugh." The dragon said. This dragon was a bright blue while Igneel was a dark red. "I'm Grandeeney, young human! I apologize for this dumb hunk of fat for scaring you. He's really nice so don't worry." The bright blue dragon said. Lucy just stared up at them in shock. "Who are you calling fat! I'm not the one who likes to eat the greasy covered things!" Igneel said. Grandeeney glared at him. "YOU are the one who can eat a whole forest! Not me! And don't call me Fat!" She said. As the two bickered Lucy looked around she realized she had no clue where she was. "Where am I?" Lucy asked. Both dragons stopped talking and looked over at the small human girl. "This is a dream." Igneel said. Grandeeney nodded. "Yes, a dream. We are coming to you through a dream. Igneel did it once with Natsu and now We are doing it with you. We came here to give you a warning. Well... Would you call it a warning or just giving information?" Grandeeney asked Igneel. "Well. Infro- inf- What the hell you said last." Igneel said. The female dragon nodded. "Here it is. The only way for dragons to come back is for you to die. That or for you to find some way to collect our elemental keys. You are a spirit mage right?" Grandeeney asked. Lucy nodded her eyes wide. "Keys... Dragons... Back... Me die..." Were only things going though Lucys head. Then the world went black once again.
