What happened last:

Finn, Marceline, Jake and Princess Bubblegum were all put into one of Beemo's most dangerous games by accident and they just barely made it out alive. Now the normal parts of the slumber party can recommence. All is well except for what happened between Finn and Bonnibel…

After the green flash of light filled with random zeros and ones dissipated, everyone looked around the room to see that everything was actually back to normal. They were all quiet for a second, just taking in what they all just experienced. They were all wide-eyed and mostly out of breath.

M: "Well… I guess it's safe to say we don't need to do that again." She said, hinting at how they all were about to die.

F+J: "Word." They both obviously agreed.

PB: "I don't know what game you guys were playing but… that was amazing…" She said in an exhausted tone as she lay sprawled out on the floor.

They all stared at the princess with scared looks on their faces. Had she gone insane?

PB: "What?" She said as she sat up and looked at everyone.

Marceline, Finn and Jake just looked at each other and starting laughing harder than any of them had in a while. Marceline began snorting a bit from how hard she was laughing.

Bubblegum thought that everyone was making fun of her but she didn't care; she just started laughing with everyone and they just kept laughing harder and harder.

They just experienced death, explosions and they were all close to dying themselves. Knowing that they all made it out just fine was a liberating feeling and everyone was able to appreciate the value of living a little bit better than before.

They all kept joking around and laughing together for a few more minutes. Eventually, Bubblegum nudged Marceline's shoulder jokingly and the vampire queen nudged right back, only a bit harder. Then Jake nudged Bubblegum, and Finn nudged Jake and Marceline…

They all paused for a second and Bubblegum announced the next event. She made sure to say something before the room became one large wrestling match.

PB: "So… I'm getting the subtle hint that everyone is still thirsty for combat… well, I propose a duel, with pillows!" Once she said that, one of the random candy castle workers brought in a few pillows on a large silver plate.

Everyone grabbed a perfect goose feather pillow and began to fight. Everyone was having an awesome time and were only thinking about the pillow fighting except for Finn.

After he grabbed the incredibly soft pillow, he couldn't help but think about Rosalinen. He was never able to remember her when he wanted to because it always seemed like a dream to him, but for right now, he could remember it like it was yesterday.

She was always such a down-to-earth type of pillow/person. She never asked much of Finn and they never had problems. She treated him right and he did the same for her. She was far from being his dream girl or being the most exciting girl he's ever met but that didn't matter. Finn always lived by one rule when it came to relationships, and it's always served him well.

"You gotta look at the beauty on the inside… like the brain and stuff. Nothing else matters."

~Finn the Human

He had his few seconds of decreased awareness thinking deeply about Rosalinen until he was knocked back into the present when Marceline whacked him in the face with a pillow.

M: "Ha! Take that, Finny!" She said playfully.

Finn quickly put his guard back up and engaged Marceline. He moved with finesse, blocked another one of her attacks and followed up by smacking her in the head. Her hair was sufficiently messed up from that hit.

M: "Uh! I'm gonna get you Fi-" She was abruptly interrupted by PB's pillow hitting her in the face. And then Jake hit Finn on the back of the head.

It quickly turned into a war. Feathers were everywhere and everyone just kept attacking until their pillows were flat and they were all out of breath.

Only about 5 minutes passed and everyone was exhausted. After all, they just got out of a realistic combat simulator. And that takes a lot out of you.

Everyone was lying on the ground at this point from pure exhaustion.

Bubblegum let out a weary exhale and sat up to look at everyone. They all looked just as fatigued as she felt and she decided that it was time for a less physically demanding event.

PB: "Well, I guess it's safe to say that everyone is pretty tired."

Everyone just kept staring at the ceiling, making it obvious that they were tired.

PB: "I propose that we watch a movie." She said with a smile.

J: "Yeah, sounds good to me, PB."

F: "Heck yeah! Bring on the movies!" He said excitedly as he hopped to his feet.

M: "I agree but… what are we gonna watch?"

Everyone looked at each other in silence for one second then started to bring up suggestions. Everyone disagreed with everyone else and the situation gradually escalated. After a few seconds, everyone was shouting at each other; not out of anger, but just so that they could hear their own voice over everyone else. It was almost getting out of hand until Beemo chimed in with a calm tone and gradually got louder until everyone heard.

BMO: "Hey guys. Uh… hey? Hello!? HEYYYY!" Beemo screamed the last word as loud as he could.

Everyone: "WHAT?!" They all answered simultaneously with the same volume as when they were arguing.

BMO: "I heard that you wanted to watch some videos." Beemo said in a different voice. He was acting just like he was before he had everyone play that very dangerous video game.

PB: "Uh… y-yes Beemo. We were planning on watching a movie." She made sure to be clear that they were going to watch a movie. She didn't want Beemo to misinterpret and cause some sort of chaos again.

BMO: "Well, I got some pretty cool stuff right here." He said as he held up a cassette tape.

F: "That sounds like a lot of fun Beemo, but how about we save that for later? And in the meantime, let's just watch a movie." He did his best to refuse Beemo's offer and not hurt his feelings at all.

BMO: "Ok!" Beemo excitedly said and everyone walked to another room with Bubblegum leading the way.

They all went to a room that almost had a movie theater-like setup. The main TV screen was massive and the couch in front of it all looked extremely comfortable. Beemo was the first one to run in and take a seat in the center of the room; right in front of the TV.

Next, Jake took a seat on one of the far ends so that he could have the armrest. Then Finn took a seat near to the other armrest, being sure to leave space for Marceline. He was a bit confused when she sat on the other side of Beemo. He just looked at her for a second to ask her why she didn't sit there. She didn't bother to look at him because she knew what he was thinking so she just leaned in closer to whisper.

M: "That's her seat."

F: "Oh, ok then." He didn't really mind, he was satisfied with just knowing why.

(Just so it's clear, here's the seating arrangement if it was too confusing.) [From left to right facing the TV: Jake, Marceline, Beemo, Finn, Bubblegum.]

PB: "Ok. Now… who wants to go with me to get snacks while the others pick a movie… in a civilized manner?" She said jokingly.

Everyone was looking at the princess once she spoke up and the room got quiet. Bubblegum slowly placed her index finger on her nose.

F: "PB? What, does your nose itch or something?" He was confused why she was doing that.

She just gently shook her head and started to smile.

Finn then turned his head to see everyone else doing the same thing except for Beemo. He just placed his finger on the middle of his screen which was close enough.

F: "Uhhh… what are you guys doing?"

M: "You don't know about the "nose goes" game?"

F: "What the math is that?"

M: "Well, this is odd. So basically, if someone has to do something and nobody wants to do it in the room then everyone puts their finger on their nose and the last person to do it has to do whatever nobody wanted to do. It's pretty simple really." She explained it in a very confusing manner but she didn't even realize it.

F: "What the nuts? How come I never heard about this before?" Finn said and looked at Jake, expecting to find an answer.

Jake just shrugged his shoulders and smirked.

F: "Whatevs man. Let's go PB." Finn got up and followed PB out of the room.

As soon as they walked out of the room they could hear everyone else burst out in an argument on what they're going to watch.

PB: "Ugh… they're soo crazy. I mean, we can watch more than just one movie. It's not that big a deal." She said, trying to make small talk.

F: "Yeah, I don't even mind what we watch. It's awesome enough just being here with you guys."

After their odd attempt at small talk they walked to what seemed like the kitchen in silence. It wasn't far by any means but the walk seemed to take longer than it normally did.

Finn didn't understand why it was soo weird to talk to PB right now. He's known her for years and they've basically been best friends ever since. He couldn't quite place his finger on why but it was surely because of their semi-intimate moment in Beemo's game.

They kept walking until they came up on a random room. It was out of earshot of anyone and it was quiet. Bubblegum walked in and motioned for Finn to follow. He walked in and walked past the princess towards the center of the room. He didn't really think anything of it, he was just walking around.

The princess then turned on the lights and the large closet was illuminated. It appeared to be a room for guests to put their coats when they came over.

Finn then turned to look at the princess and she began to slowly take her small jacket off and proceeded to walk towards him while doing so. Her hips rocked back and forth as they often did as she slid her jacket off her shoulders in a very sexy way. Her eyes seemed to be half open as she closed the gap between her and Finn.

His face immediately flared up and his cheeks turned bright red and his face felt hot. His heart rate increased from an anxiety-type feeling.

F: "B-Bonnie?" He said as he took a small step back. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

The princess didn't say anything; she just got closer and closer. Time seemed to move in slow motion. She kept approaching until she was within arm's reach. She didn't say anything; she just walked right past Finn and hung up her jacket. Finn's emotion's changed from what was produced by expecting PB to make a move on him to embarrassment.

PB: "Yes, Finn?" She was honestly wondering why he said her name.

F: "N-nothing… I-I thought you were… never mind." He said awkwardly.

PB: "Hmmm… I think I know what this is about." She obviously picked up on Finn's poorly hidden nervous tone.

F: "W-what's what about, PB? I wasn't gonna say anything." He didn't lie very well...

PB: "Finn… I think we need to talk."

F: "Oh Glob…" He thought to himself.

So... I should be done with this whole moving thing in a few weeks so I'll hopefully be able to post more. But In the meantime It'll just have to be a bit slower sadly. Oh well.

So, what did you guys think about Chapter 44?
