Lucy looked all around the room in the hopes of finding a way out. There was none.

"I'll get us out of here." The lion spirit said. He drew back his hand and ran full speed towards the door. "Regulus Punch!"

The walls fell apart and crumbled to the ground as they broke apart. Lucy ran up to Loke and thanked him. She still felt like crying. He didn't know her. But that wasn't going to stop her. No one would stop her from finding her way back to her home, Fairy Tail.

Zeref watched the girl fight along with her spirits. She was strong he would give her that.

"Why did you do it?" Mavis' voice rang through his ears. "Why did you erase their memories?"

Zeref turn to his right and looked at the blond girl right in the eye.

"Their not strong enough yet."

Virgo had given Lucy a whip since it turned out Lucy didn't have one. Lucy snapped the whip back and forth at dark mages and with the help of Loke they had found a window.

Lucy was beaten up badly and trying to keep her breath even. She looked out the window and found the town of her home. She saw Fairy Tail. The building was huge and people were laughing everywhere in the city. Her home. It took her a moment to realize that she was high above the ground.

She was alone, she had sent Loke back once she was at the window, and she was scared. Lucy had bruises and cuts everywhere. She looked down one more time at Fairy Tail.

Then jumped.

Zeref watched as she fell to the ground. Her hair flying back along with her clothes. She looked like she was flying.

Mavis started at Lucys disappearing figure. She was shocked to say the least.

"How did you take away their memories?" she had to know before the girl git the ground. It was life or death.

"I took the one thing she needs most." Zeref stated as he grabbed a small box. It was black with red and gold patterns.

Mavis eyes widened in both relief and sadness. "No," she whispered out.

"Yes. I took her heart."

Lucy Heartfilia had nothing to lose. Her spirits didn't know her and Fairy Tail wouldn't. If she survived this fall she would make them all remember. She void she would.

"Lucy dear! Come here! I want to speak with you!" Layla Heartfilia called out.

Lucy ran up to her mother with a wide smile. "Mamma!"

Lucy was about seven years old. Her short blond hair bounced with every step she took. "What is it mamma?" the young girl asked. Layla bent down next to the small child and hugged her.

"I wanted to tell you I love you," her mother replied. Layla felt like her hearts had been ripped out of her chest. Which it had. The older blond was crying as she pulled away and looked her daughter right in the eyes.

Lucy looked up at her crying mother. "What's wrong mamma?" Lucy felt her eyes start to get watery and soon she was crying too. She didn't know why though. "I'm going to be going away for a long time and I'll miss you," Layla stated.

Going away? Where was her mother going? Lucy thought. She wanted to go with her! "No! I want to go with you! I don't want to stay with daddy! I want to be with you!" Lucy screamed. She didn't understand! Why was her mother going away!? Did she not want to stay with her?

"I'm sorry dear but you can't. You need to stay here," Layla stated firmly. Lucy looked up at her mother with wide eyes. Her mother was leaving with out her. NO! NO! NO! NO!

"NO! I want to come with you!"

"Lucy, please. Please understand that you can't. Be a good girl and trust me,"

"Bu-"

"Please."

"Okay mommy."

Layla turned and walked out of the libary. Before she left though she looked at Lucy and said one last thing.

"I love you. With all my heart, body and soul, you'll always be my baby girl,"

Layla shut the door, running to her bed room she shut the door. Jude wasn't there. 'Probably in his study.' She thought before laying down on the bed. She cried for about 10 minutes before she felt her heart being crushed.

"Good bye Queen" Zeref sneered looking at her. Layla Heartfilias' heart was in his hands. He crushed it. Black ash that was left over from the heart fell to the ground.

Layla Heartfilia had just died. She lied on the bed with her eyes closed and her right hand on the place where her heart should have been. But before Zeref crushed her heart she whispered one last thing.

"I don't need a heart to always love my daughter."

Lucy felt light like a feather. She was still falling but, she felt free. Free as she could be. She saw the ground become closer and closer. Was she going to die?

She was about to find out.

Natsu had been walking around the town with Happy. There was nothing to do! Master had said that no one was to go on a mission today. Something about not wanting to write letters to people.

Happy was watching people from his spot on Natsus' head. He looked up at the sky wondering why they just didn't just steal a quest. That's when the blue feline spotted something.

"Hey Natsu?"

"Yeah buddy?"

"Can people fall from the sky?"

"Huh?!" Natsus head shot up and found a girl falling from the sky. She was getting close. "Happy fly me to her before she lands,"

"Aye sir!" White wing came out of nowhere. The cat grabbed Natsu and flew him to the girl. He grabbed her waist and held on tight. Happy couldn't carry both of them. His hands slipped and Natsu and the girl were now falling to the ground.

Happy wasn't to worried about his partner. Natsu had fallen form higher places.

Natsu curled his body around the blond haired girl so he would get the most damage. He landed with a boom. Dust and dirt went everywhere.

Happy flew down to them and landed softly on the ground. Natsu stood up and looked at the girl in his arms. She was bleeding badly on her arms and legs and she was cut everywhere.

Who was she? And what had happen to her?

"What a weirdo. Falling from the sky," Natsu stated, looking at her face. She was pretty. He felt like he knew her.

"We should bring her to Fairy Tail," Happy commented. Natsu looked up at his partner and nodded. "Lets go!"

And with that clock was ticking again.
