What happened last:
Finn and Bonnibel had a very heart-felt conversation about fear and courage as well as a story on her and Marceline's past and how Ash caused problems. She still couldn't tell Finn her real feelings. Maybe one day it'll be obvious for him? After all was said and done, it's time to start the movie and Bonnie is popping bottles…
M: "Oh boy. This is gonna be a long night." She said after Bubblegum opened the first of many bottles of wine.
F: "What's that, PB? Grape soda?" He said innocently.
PB: "Uh…"
M: "It's like that stuff you and me drank that one time at my house, Finn…"
F: "Oh… that stuff." He got all wide eyed. He still didn't understand its "magical" properties, but it definitely made things interesting.
PB: "Oh Marceline, you dirty girl." She said in a sly voice and Marceline immediately blushed and Jake chuckled out loud. Lady Rainicorn said a dirty innuendo in Korean and everyone else chuckled and snickered at it but Finn. He understood some Korean but not very much.
F: "What's soo funny, guys?" He was clueless.
M: "N-nothing, Finn. So… let's go watch that movie then." She excitedly said, attempting to avert Finn's attention to something else.
And without stalling anymore, Jake put the movie in the movie player and they all sat down and watched it. During the first movie, everyone was more talkative, sometimes not paying attention to the movie even though it was a comedy.
They were all slowly drinking whatever Bubblegum had available. Lady Rainicorn left and returned sometime around the middle of the first movie. She went home to check on TV and now she's back. TV can be soo co-dependent sometimes...
They all laughed and joked for what seemed like hours. Drinking more and more and eating all of the snacks in sight. By the third movie, everyone was feeling sufficiently "good" and that's when things started to get interesting.
M: "Fffinn… we should go check on that thing…" She wasn't making much sense and she was slurring her words. It seems as though she drank faster than anyone else just because that's how it happened.
F: "W-what thing, Mar Mar?" He was slurring his words equally as bad as the vampire queen.
She didn't say anything else; she just grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the room in a hurry. Lady Rainicorn and Jake were already planning on leaving soon so they could have some privacy.
PB: "Don't do anything I… *hic* wouldn't do, Marcy." She said to Marceline with a dirty smile on her face as she and Finn left the room. She fell back on the couch and laid down. Beemo did the same although he was just doing it to fit in.
The vampire queen brought Finn to the same closet that Bubblegum brought him to earlier. It seems as though this is a popular room for privacy…
The human boy didn't know why she brought him back to this secluded room but he knew that he needed to tell her what he had on his chest. It was starting to bother him more and more and he needed to say something.
M: "So Finn…" She turned around to him with intent to create an interesting moment. She closed the door behind them and locked it.
M: "Are you ready for your seven minutes in heaven?"
She scanned up and down Finn's body, making sure that he knew that she wanted something.
Finn could easily pick up on Marceline's obviously aroused actions. He hated that he had to stop her and change the subject to something more serious, but he had to do it.
F: "M-Marceline…" He said with an uneasy voice.
M: "What is it, hero?" She replied with a low and sexy voice. She began to walk towards Finn as erotically as she could. The wine was easily a factor that was influencing her actions as well as a "certain kind" of tension and frustration that was building up inside. Not a lot of time needed to pass for it to seem like forever to the vampire queen.
Even though Finn's mind was set on telling Marceline what happened while in Beemo's game, he couldn't help but feel the adrenaline rush from the excitement that Marcy was causing. Her amorous mood was contagious…
F: "Marcy, I need to tell you something important…"
M: "And what would that be?" She whispered as she grazed her lips against Finn's ear when she got close enough.
The human boy gently pushed back on Marceline's shoulders to get a good look at her. He needed to see into her eyes when he confessed what he did.
Once he pushed back on her, she caught onto his serious tone and seemed to have sobered up quickly. She didn't know what he could possibly need to tell her, but she made sure to give him her full undivided attention.
M: "What is it, Finn?" She said in her normal voice.
F: "I need to tell you something that happened… while we were in Beemo's game. It's something I did."
M: "Ok…?"
F: "Whenever we were about to win and that tank came by and almost killed all of us… I… uh… I had to…" He sounded painfully guilty and it was obvious in his voice that this really bothered him.
Marceline took in a deep breath and exhaled.
Then she grabbed his face and made it so they were both forced to see into each other's eyes. She got close enough to where their noses were almost touching to make the moment feel more intimate.
M: "Finn, whatever it is… It's ok. I forgive you."
F: "What? But I-"
M: "Honestly, Finn. I've been through soo much throughout my lifetime and I've suffered soo much from relationships. And if I ever learned one thing, then it's that a bad person, or boyfriend in your case, would never admit to doing something wrong. I mean… if you didn't care, then why would you even bother to bring it up? Because you're obviously about to tell me something that you did wrong that might hurt my feelings; or am I wrong?" She was spot on and Finn didn't know what to say. He felt a bit better knowing that she wouldn't try to kill him for what he did but he still felt obligated to tell her what happened.
F: "I… how did you know?"
M: "Like I said, I've dealt with this sort of stuff a lot throughout my life. I've kind of grown accustomed to it."
F: "N-no, Marcy. It shouldn't be like that. You shouldn't expect bad things to happen and just accept them when they do-"
M: "-What do you want me to do? Punish you or something?" She sounded serious.
F: "No I… Look, I just want you to know what happened so I can at least live with the fact that I did something wrong and it won't be something that I feel like I'm hiding. I don't want to keep any secrets from you. Because I…" He choked on his words. Not because they were hard to say, but he felt as though he didn't have the right to say that special four letter word to Marceline after his actions.
M: "You what?" She said in a quiet voice. Her heart skipped a few beats.
He stopped himself from what he was about to say. He wanted to get the weight off his shoulders first then move onto other things.
F: "N-nothing… So, while we were in the game and about to die, Bubblegum was too scared to do anything about the tank so I had to find a way to… build her confidence."
M: "Soo… you kissed her?"
F: "I… *sigh* yes..." He felt ashamed and didn't know what else to say.
M: "So, that's why you've been calling her Bonnie? Cause she's your new special friend?" She sounded as if she just had an epiphany.
F: "No! That's not-"
M: "So, you've been having an affair with her behind my back?" She was starting to sound mad.
F: "N-No! I would never do that-!" He was sounding frantic trying to explain himself.
M: "-And you were too greedy to share?!" She sounded very angry.
F: "I… wha?" He was completely blindsided by what she just said.
M: "Hahaha!" She was laughing at Finn's confusion. She was messing with him the whole time.
F: "What's soo funny? This is serious…" He realized that he fell for one of Marceline's classic tricks once again. It's been awhile.
M: "Finn, like I said… I forgive you. Whether you think it's bad or not, I'm used to it. That and I really trust you. I know you're a good guy and you don't mean any harm. Yes, it was in the heat of the moment and yes, there was probably some other way it could have worked out in that game. But we're here. We're alive. Isn't that all that matters?"
M: "And besides, there's a big difference between actions and habits. A one-time action can easily be forgiven because people make mistakes. But it becomes a problem whenever it goes from a single event to habitual action. That's when it's bad."
F: "I guess so. I'm sorry for all of this Marceline."
She looked at him and smiled. He made mistakes and he was far from perfect. But at least he didn't hide his faults and blame her for it instead.
M: "It's ok, hero."
F: "And, Marcy…?" He said and grabbed her sides and got in close to her face.
M: "Yeah?" She began to blush.
F: "I love you." His heart began racing and he could feel his blood rushing in his veins.
M: "I love you too, Finn." Her heart skipped and her face felt hot. She hasn't felt legitimate love like this in years and it's such an amazingly warming feeling.
The sound of one telling those three little words to the other reverberated in their minds. That simple phrase was soo powerful and held soo much meaning.
The hero boy aggressively pulled Marceline in and began to kiss her. She was completely submissive and weak at the knees. She's been waiting for this moment and she finally has him where she wants him.
She pulled back to say something to Finn for a second.
M: "So, is this how you kissed PB?"
He didn't respond. He just turned his head in shame. He still felt bad about it regardless of how oddly forgiving the vampire queen was.
M: "Oh, c'mon I was just kidding!" She said in a playful tone.
M: "And it's not like you kissing her would be that big a deal, I mean… I used to do it." She was trying to make Finn feel awkward by talking about her relationship with the Princess. And it didn't work. Instead a warm wave of blood rushed to his face and his lungs seemed to absorb less oxygen. Once again, his body was acting in ways that even he didn't understand.
He still didn't say anything. And after a few seconds he finally turned his head back to look at Marceline.
M: "Hmmm… well, I guess this all explains that faint taste of bubblegum on your lips back in Beemo's game." She was still messing with him…
He quickly turned his head away again. He was getting more and more upset.
M: "I'm just kidding, Finn! I couldn't even really taste anything. It just tasted like carbon and explosions."
M: "Finn?" She was about to start prying to make sure that nothing else was wrong. Maybe she really upset him this time?
He was quiet for a few more seconds then finally said something.
F: "Explosions?" He said in a low and monotonous tone.
M: "Well, yeah."
F: "What does an explosion even taste like?"
M: "Y-you know… Like, pshhh! Boom!" She was making explosion sounds and hand gestures to portray explosions. She was trying to act silly and cute to cheer Finn up.
F: "You sound ridiculous." He started to chuckle at how she was acting.
M: "Say what you want. I know what I'm talking about."
The mood was finally lifting from serious and upsetting to lighter and happier.
F: "So uh…What was it you said about punishing me?" He changed the subject to get at what Marceline wanted when they first got in the closet to talk.
Smooth.
M: "Ohhh… you bad little boy." She said and her cheeks began to blush. She was unintentionally baring her fangs and Finn still thought of it as kinda cute. It didn't happen much but it always stood out when it did.
Finn knew what she wanted so he decided that it would be best to lay this problem to rest for now because she said that it was ok and move on. After all… he wouldn't want to keep a vampire queen waiting…
So... how'd you guys like chapter 46? On a scale of 1 to Adventure Time, how would you rate this story so far? lol
