Helena rushed the small space to grab onto Myka, but as soon as her hands were around her neck, trying to pull her closer, the other pushed her away. She shoved her from her body, ice cold. Helena knew that Myka was hurt, and felt betrayed by her; but she couldn't let her leave. She would not let her go before she could explain to her what...what she kept hidden for so long. She had no explanation for her behavior lately, no explanation for why she wasn't completely honest with her in the last few days, why she wasn't honest about the Regents. Why she couldn't be honest. She had no right to beg for her forgiveness, but she had to at least try. Myka became her everything from the first time they met; but it took her much to long to realize that. The realization came last night when they...now is not the time to think of what happened last night; it is time to beg, beg and pray for Myka to forgive my idiocy and to understand why I have to do this.

"Myka, please." The words came out as silent as a whisper; but loud enough for the women in front of her to hear them.

Myka had never felt sicker in her life. This morning she woke up as happy as she ever felt in her entire life; not even Sam made her feel the way Helena does. She promised herself that today was the day; she will finally tell her how she feels. That she can't stop thinking about her, that her every word is memorized in her mind. That she yearns for her touch when she is away. That the sound of her voice does things to her, that she had never imagined to be feeling.

That she, Myka, was for the first time in her life, truly, deeply and madly in love with a woman that seemed to be to good to be true.

But this, this felt like a nightmare. A dream from which Myka was aching to wake up from. She steeped backwards, trying to be as far away from the other women as the small space of the room would allow them to be. But there was no such luck.

Helena steeped closer to her once more; this time with a careful, slow step. Her hands were cold by her side, she didn't want to touch Myka at this moment, when it seemed that she would only push her away again. Helena deserved her rejection, but she was not prepared of how bad that rejection would feel on her skin. The ice cold touch and the tearful look full of pain and betrayal written all over her face hurt Helena more then she would have thought possible. She came close to her, a breath away from her lips; Myka still avoiding to look at her. She pressed her body close to Mykas; pretty much trapped the other women dead in her spot. She leaned her forehead to hers and closed her eyes; gathering her courage, the right words, a way to fix the mess she has gotten herself into.

"Myka..." The name left her lips so slowly; her breath tickling Mykas lips. She couldn't bare this any more. If this was the last time she would be close enough to touch her, to feel her, to kiss her; she would use this moment and hang on to it as long as she can; even tho it might kill her at the end.

For a moment she stooped breathing as she brushed her lips over Mykas, feather light. She feared she would be rejected again, shoved away. But to her surprise, she felt Mykas lips move slowly over hers; before she turned her head away from her.

"Please..." Helena moved her hand up to her cheek and caressed her face, slowly brushing away the tear stains under her eyes. She looked eyes with Myka, when the other finally managed to turn to look at her again. She opened her mouth to speak, but was stooped dead in her track the same instant as she heard Mykas voice.

"Don't. Not now. I don't, I don't wanna know. Not when I...when I'm. Just don't, okay."

"Please Myka, let me explain. I want you to know why I am doing this. Listen to me, I beg of you."

Myka pushed her away and walked over to her bed, siting down on it and looking anywhere but at Helena, the woman that turned her life up side down and then in a matter of few hours made it impossible to breath.

"Explain? How can you explain this stupidity you're about to do? Helena, this is practically suicide! You are giving up on your life to save the Regents, that, lets be honest, have more then enough artifacts to protect themselves from Sykes and who ever is working with him. You don't have to do this." Myka finally looked up the woman who was leaning against the wall, hands in her hair, trying to think this thru. Now Helena was the one that kept her gaze anywhere but on Myka. She slowly approached her and sat next to her, her hands resting on her lap. They sat like that for a few moments, neither wanting to say anything more about what will happen soon.

Helena waited for the last moment to tell Myka about the Regents plans for her, how she would be protecting them, and the Warehouse, and most of all she would be protecting Myka.

"If there was any other way, you know I would..." Myka suddenly turned around, pulling Helena closer to her by her shirt and kissed her fiercely, almost desperately. Their kiss was hot, full of need and longing. They both knew this might be their last kiss, and they wanted to make it last as long as possible. After breaking the kiss to finally come up for air, they rested their foreheads together, hands on the others neck as their breathing evened out.

"I know you will find a way to bring me back. I trust you Myka." Helena knew the Regents were waiting downstairs for her and she should be on her way, but the thought of leaving Myka was crushing her, even tho she had faith that she will see her again. That the adorable curly haired agent will find a way to bring her back into her arms. She kissed her one more time, her lips lingering on Mykas before she stood up and walked out of the room and downstairs.

Claudia ran up into her arms and gave her a crushing hug, while Pete just patted her back and Artie nodded his head towards her. After Claudia finally let go of her, she put on her jacket and walked out of the B&B with the Regents. And just before she sat into the car, she stopped for a moment, her eyes wandering over the small place she just started calling home, as her gaze fell upon green eyes, that were looking down at her from the window. Her heart clenched inside her chest as she smiled up to her and took of to protect the Warehouse.
