Finn wakes up and sees Rachel staring up at him he chuckles and kisses her forehead. "That is a creepy way to wake up in the morning."Finn says
"What's creepy?"Rachel smiles
"I didn't expect to open my eyes and have a pair of beautiful brown eyes just staring at me as I slept."Finn says Rachel laughs
"Did you even sleep at all?"Finn asked
"Finn I was dead for 2 days I think I'm well rested for the next few days."Rachel says Finn shutters at the word dead Rachel smiles and leans up to kiss his lips.
"I'm okay remember. Alive and well..It takes more than a dagger to kill the most powerful Witch in the Berry Coven."Rachel says she turns her head and stretches then points her finger to open the curtain when nothing happens she raises her eyebrow and does it again. Finn sits up looks at her confused Rachel tries another simple spell but again nothing happens.
"These are the simplest easiest spells in the book, why is my magic not working?"Rachel asked
"We should ask your fathers, come on."Finn says helping Rachel stand as they get ready.
~At the Berry house hold~ Finn opens the door for Rachel and she walks inside they see her father Leroy sitting in the living room setting out plates and muffins
"Daddy."Rachel says Leroy smiles and walks over to hug and kiss his daughter
"How do you feel my star?"Leroy asked
"Still a little weak but I'll be manage."Rachel smiles
"What brings you two here?"Leroy smiles
"Mr. Berry something is wrong with Rachel's magic."Finn says Leroy turns to Rachel
"What do you mean?"He asked
"I tried just opening the curtains with magic and nothing happened I even tried to do a simple levitation spell but there was nothing...Daddy what's going on?"Rachel asked
Leroy looks at the crystal placed around Rachel's neck he gets a strange look on his face then he walks into the other room to retrieve something.
Finn looks at Rachel and she stands up and holds his hand leading him to the couch Finn sits down and Rachel sits on his lap and nuzzles her face against his cheek.
"Rachella.."Hiram says Rachel sees her Papa and smiles "Hi Papa."Rachel says
"The Crystal that brought you back to life...that is the reason."Hiram says
"What do you mean."Rachel asked
"This enchanted crystal is not meant to revive supernatural beings. You were a witch Rachel...thats why it didn't work instantly."Leroy says
"But...if Im a super natural being...how did it revive me?"Rachel asked
"The Dagger that killed you took away your ability to do magic making you mortal, when Finn placed the crystal around your neck it was able to revive your life because you were only a mortal."Hiram says
"Are you telling me..I'm not a Witch anymore...I don't have my powers?"Rachel asked
Hiram and Leroy both nod "The only way to save your life was to make you Mortal and this crystal did that."Hiram says
"Excuse me for a second."Rachel says getting off of Finn's lap and walks out the door slamming it.
"She's going to be alright Finn, 21 years of being a Witch that's all Rachel ever knew she's going to have to cope with being Mortal."Hiram says Finn nods
Rachel is outside she throws a rock over the fence and sits down on the ground placing her head on top of her knees. Finn walks outside and sees Rachel curled up into a ball he sits down next to her Rachel picks her head up and Finn smiles at her and wipes her tears away.
"I hate seeing you cry."Finn whispers
"I do it a lot so get used to it."Rachel says Finn smiles and kisses her lips
"Talk to me?"Finn asked
"My whole life I was told that being a Witch is what I was destined to be...Im destined to be the most powerful Witch to ever have existed...but now that's taken away from me..."Rachel says
"It's my fault."Finn says Rachel gives him a confused look.
"That dagger was meant for me Rach, but you got in front of me and saved me now you don't have your powers anymore."Finn says
"If I didn't save you, you wouldn't be here next to me right now..I'd save you again if I had to."Rachel says
Finn shakes his head "Yes Im sad I lost my powers but...magic is never a life long guarantee...but you and I are."Rachel says leaning her head against his.
"Rach, you're mortal now...and I'm still a hybrid."Finn whispers Rachel lets his words sink in a little longer then she realizes as a Mortal Rachel is more fragile and vulnerable to danger her relationship with Finn now as a mortal changes everything.
"Nothing changes with us. I love you, you love me. You're not getting rid of me that easily. We just have to be careful."Rachel smiles Finn closes his eyes and Rachel holds his face.
"You're not ending this relationship because you don't want to hurt me..You're not a danger to me."Rachel says
"I love how you know exactly what I am thinking."Finn says Rachel laughs and kisses his lips.
Later on that day Finn leaves Rachel at her father's house so he can go back to his place and grab a few things for his surprise for her.
Mike walks into Finn's room then smiles "You okay man?"Mike asked
"Rachel's a mortal now. The crystal brought her back to life but as a mortal."Finn says
"You're not going to break up with her are you?"Mike asked
"No she strictly told me not to."Finn says
"You do realize you're putting her in a danger situation."Mike says
"Of Course I know that...I don't know what to do."Finn says
"You could...change her."Mike says
"What?"Finn asked
"Change Rachel into a vampire..."Mike says
"She wouldn't be a vampire she'd be a full Hybrid."Finn says
"There you go change her"Mike says
"I can't do that I won't do that she doesn't need to live a life trying to control the urge to feed on people."Finn says
"You taught me remember and you taught Puck."Mike says
"I won't do that to her."Finn says
Rachel is in her old room sitting on the bench that's facing the window she is reading a book when Finn walks inside her room and smiles at her.
"Hi Babe."Rachel says Finn smiles and sees her curled up with a book and her teddy bear beside her.
"This is a cute site."Finn smiles Rachel giggles and she kisses his lips Finn rubs the side of her neck and takes something out from his jacket pocket and hands it to her. Rachel looks down at the envelope and opens it inside were two tickets to New York City.
"Finn?"Rachel asked
"We agreed that you would take me to New York and we would watch a Broadway Musical so..."Finn smiles
"You are the best boyfriend ever."Rachel says wrapping her arms around his neck. Finn kisses her lips and Rachel kisses him back she smiles and Finn lifts her up and carries her to her bed laying her body down Rachel moans and Finn kisses her neck then lowers his lips down Rachel's body Rachel pulls his head closer to where she wants him Finn licks her body then grips Rachel's hips and he lifts her skirt up and pleasures her.
"F-Finn."Rachel cries softly Finn kisses each thigh then crawls back up to kiss her lips Rachel smiles and props herself up on her elbows and Finn slowly unbuttons her blouse as he places it on the ground he smiles at her and sees prominent bruises on her hips...Finn stops then looks at them.
"D-Did I just do this.."Finn asked Rachel looks down and sees the bruise on her hip
"You and your Hybrid Strength it's alright Finn it doesn't hurt or anything."Rachel says rubbing his cheek. Finn pulls away from her then shakes his head.
"I'm so sorry.."Finn says Rachel sits up and rubs her hands up and down his chest to calm him down.
"Finn I know you didn't mean to...Im not a Witch anymore and that means Im not as strong as I used to be but we can work around that."Rachel says
"Rachel I'm hurting you without even trying..how can we possible work around this?"Finn asked
"We just can. Okay Calm down..I'm fine really."Rachel says wrapping her arms around him but Finn doesn't hold her back in fear that he will hurt her again.
