Finn and Rachel are walking around New York Rachel leans up and kiss Finn on the lips he smiles and then looks down at his watch.
"Have you heard from Mike yet?"Rachel asked Finn shakes his head a little worried.
"Im guessing maybe he left the Statue of Liberty early to see some of his friends who live here but...he would have texted or something."Finn says
"Im sure he's fine Baby come on you can have your first official New York hot chocolate."Rachel smiles Finn nods and pulls her body in front of his as they walk into the drink shop.
The couple sits down with their drinks outside and Rachel sits next to Finn and they begin laughing and talking Finn takes her hand and kisses it then smiles at her.
"This is just a perfect day, sun shinning, us enjoying the New York atmosphere. Being with you is always incredible."Rachel says Finn chuckles then suddenly his ears perk up he could hear someone's neck being bitten into...he heard the sound of a carotid artery being broken into. Finn turns his head and looks around Rachel looks up at him and nudges him.
"Babe what is it?"Rachel asked
"Nothing nothing is wrong"Finn says Rachel looks at him confused then slightly smiles as she kisses his lips A few minutes later Finn and Rachel get up to walk around they reach a narrow alley and Finn stops the smell of blood filling his senses. Finn's eyes turn bright yellow, his fangs come out Rachel holds his hand and tries to calm him down.
"Someone's hurt...either that or dead."Finn says
"Stay here."Rachel says and walks into the alley. Finn watches Rachel carefully as she turns and sees then stops "FINN!"She cries Finn darts right next to her and sees the body of a male with a chunk of his neck missing. It was obvious the man was drained completely of his blood Finn shakes his head and looks up at Rachel.
"A vampire did this..."Finn says
"I didn't even know that there were vampires in New York city...what are we gonna do.."Rachel says looking down at the corpse.
"Go to the hotel I'll take care of this."Finn says
"Finn.."Rachel says unsure. Finn kisses her lips and takes off his jacket wrapping it around her.
"Just Go I'll be there in about 30 minutes."Finn says Rachel nods then hails a taxi cab and drives to the hotel. Finn turns around and takes a deep breath.
~About 2 hours later~
Rachel is back at the hotel sitting in the room waiting for Finn suddenly there is a knock on the door she opens it hoping its Finn but it's Mike.
"Hey what's going on."Mike says Rachel looks at him and his clothes are a little shuffled and his hair is a bit of a mess.
"Where have you been?"Rachel asked
"I uhh...don't really remember actually I just woke up in my room and it was like I had a bad nightmare..and I don't know what happened."Mike says
"Maybe you had a lot to drink?"Rachel asked Mike shrugs
"Where's Finn?"He asked
"We found a body earlier in an alley way the body was drained completely of it's blood there's a Vampire in the city Mike...and who ever it is is set on killing more people."Rachel says
"We'll figure out who it is...maybe stop them before they get another victim."Mike says Finn opens the door and Rachel smiles and runs into his arms. "Finn there you are!"Rachel says squeezing him.
Finn holds her and kisses her forehead.
"What did you do with the body?"Rachel asked
"Brought him to the harbor, I looked through his wallet and saw an address but I guess he lived alone so I left a suicide note and contacted his family they should be spotting his body at the harbor in about two hours."Finn says
"Were you worried about me?"Finn asked looking at Rachel she lays her head on his chest and nods holding him tightly Finn kisses her kiss then runs his fingers through her hair.
"What do we do now?"Mike asked
"I'm trying to get a sense of this vampire but Im not getting anything...we gotta keep a look out..."Finn says Mike nods
"Hey Finn can we talk?"Mike asked Finn nods he kisses Rachel and follows Mike to his room.
"I think you need to keep a close eye on Rachel man.."Mike says Finn gives him a confused look
"Why? Did someone threaten her?"Finn asked
"No I just...you need to trust me I just have a feeling Rachel may be in danger so just...watch her okay."Mike says Finn nods
"You know I won't let anything happen to Rachel, thanks for worrying about her Man."Finn says patting him on the back as he walks back into his room.
"Im worried I'll be the one to hurt her."Mike says in his head as he lays down on the bed.
Finn walks back into the room and hears soft music playing he turns into the bathroom and sees Rachel in the tub sitting in a hot bubble bath with her eyes closed Finn smiles and pulls up a small seat and places it behind her and he begins to massage her neck.
"Hmm..feels good."Rachel says Finn leans forward and kisses her neck as he continues to do that Rachel gives him more access so he can keep kissing her but Finn stops he feels the pulse in her neck and can hear the blood flowing through her body he has to physically pull himself away from her so he doesn't risk biting into her neck. Rachel feels Finn pull away and she turns to face him. She sees he turned into his hybrid state.
"Finn, are you alright?"Rachel asked Finn closes his eyes and trys to calm down.
"Yeah uhm I just need a minute."Finn says
"You're hungry.."Rachel says
"I'll be fine Rach."Finn says Rachel shakes her head she sees the razor on the side of the tub and grabs it she cuts the top of her index finger and holds it out to Finn. He looks at her and she smiles.
"I trust you."Rachel says Finn sighs and places his lips over her finger and begins to suck her blood he is keeping his hearing concentrated on her heart beat in case it slows down in case he takes too much of her blood as he is feeding from her Rachel sees Finn is going back to his normal self. She smiles and runs her fingers through his hair. Finn stops and then licks her wound watching as it closes.
"Are you okay? You're not woozy?"Finn asked
"No Babe I'm fine. I swear."Rachel says Finn kisses her cheek and smiles "Thank you.."Finn whispers
"You know If I were hybrid you could feed from me all the time if you needed to."Rachel says Finn places her hand on his chest and she places it right over his heart she smiles and kisses his lips.
Finn reaches into his pocket and holds up a white gold light sapphire diamond ring in front of her. Rachel looks at him confused.
"The thing is, Is I've never been more in love with someone in my entire life than when I met you...I'm know in my core that you are the one I am destined to be with until the Earth stops existing, and if you want me to turn you into a Hybrid so we can be together forever then I'll do whatever you want just to make you happy because Rach you have made me the happiest I have ever been in the 156 years that I have been alive..."Finn smiles Rachel begins tearing up and he chuckles.
"Rachel Barbara Berry will you please Marry me?"Finn asked
"You're proposing to me while I'm in the bath tub?"Rachel asked Finn laughs
"I know it's not the most ideal place to propose but..."Finn says
"But it's perfect and it's us...Yes.. I will be yours forever."Rachel says Finn leans up and places the ring on her finger She smiles and pulls him into a a kiss.
"This Ring is unique, it's breath taking Finn."Rachel says
"It belonged to my mother she gave it to be in 1920.. your father to turn it into a day light ring."Finn says
"What?"Rachel asked very surprised
"After you lost your powers and turned mortal, your Father Hiram got the idea that maybe I should turn you into a Hybrid naturally I was against it and told him I would never turn you with your consent even if you wanted me to I didn't know if I could put you through it...so he told me to think about it very hard and then he found this ring in my pants pocket when I was holding you in that basement he said if fell out of my pocket and he did a spell to turn it into a daylight ring if you ever decided to become a Hybrid."Finn says
"So turn me now?"Rachel says Finn chuckles
"It's a little complicated than that but we'll figure it out."Finn says running his fingers through her hair. Rachel smiles and nods.
"I love yo Finn so so much."Rachel whispers against his lips
