Chapter 28—Reddy to Rumble

Beth

"Are you sure that's right, doc?" I could hear someone asking.

His voice, which sounded oddly like Matt Jamison's, was far off and foggy. When I tried to open my eyes to check, I couldn't open them no matter how much I wanted to.

"Positive," another person responded despondently. Was that Doctor Oliver? What were they talking about?

"Maybe there was some interference and it got matched with some of the files in the archive?" Grace suggested. I recognized her voice instantly. Where the hell was I?

"Look, the Sonic Scan was a perfect match, even with the wind in the background."

Sonic Scan? What in the world were they talking about? Again, I tried to open my eyes, but they simply would not budge. It was like I'd lost feeling in my entire body. Maybe it was just a dream. I heard two swishing sounds followed by a stereotypical sci-fi sound. Then I heard Jay talking.

"What's up, Doc?"

If I could, I would have furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Jay hadn't been in the room before, had he?

"Let's wake Beth, first," our principal said calmly. I could hear his footsteps approaching me, and then I heard the sound of air being let out of something—like a decompression wave or something. "Beth?"

My eyes finally flipped open, as if I'd magically been given back control of my body. "Where the fuck am I?"

I glared in the direction of Grace, who looked confused. Behind her, was Aaron, who shared the same look of general idiocy.

"What?" I snapped.

"Um, are you okay, Beth?" Amy wondered cautiously.

From the corner of my eye, I noticed Patrick move haphazardly away from Aaron, as if he was sneaking something.

"I'm extremely confused," I finally conceded, the anger slipping from my voice temporarily.

"Do you know why you're here?" Doctor Oliver asked.

Hesitantly, I said, "No. Should I?"

Instantly, the entire room got tense and upset. Jay rubbed his hands through his hair, Amy trying in vain to calm him down. On the other side, Grace was whispering with Doctor Oliver, while Matt, Patrick, and Aaron were all talking. Matt, Patrick, and Aaron? Amy and Jay? What the hell?

"Did…did something happen to me? Why does my head feel like I just head-butted a rhino?"

Aaron stepped forward from his little huddle with Matt and Patrick. I glanced uneasily at the two of them before smiling timidly at Aaron.

"Hey," I greeted caringly.

"Hey, uh, Beth…" he said uneasily. "Um, I'm not really sure how to say this, but, you kinda…um…we think you lost your memory."

My face fell. "What?"

"Well, you have no memory of this place, and from the looks of it, you have no idea why I'm close with Patrick and Matt and why Amy and Jay are clearly a couple."

I shot them all looks of desperation.

"Do you…do you know what this is?" he asked, showing me a large device on his wrist.

"It's a…a…"

"A morpher."

My eyes widened. "You're a-a…a…"

"Not just me," he interrupted, glancing around the room, and then holding my hands out in front of me. On each of my wrists were new bracelets that I had no recollection of; and when Aaron twisted my wrist quickly, they flashed red and changed shape.

"I'm a power ranger?"

"We all are," Grace said softly.

—28—

The information I was being told sent me reeling. I was a Power Ranger, Doctor Oliver was Grace's dad, Grace and I were friends again, Aaron was an Eltarian prince, there were Super Stones buried deep beneath the Earth's surface, Gabriel was an evil reincarnation of Cronus (or something), and we'd just gotten our asses kicked by a team of evil rangers.

"So...what do I do? I mean…I can't lead you guys," I said, looking at the group of ragtag teenagers from very different ends of the social spectrum.

"That's why I lead; you're my backup," Aaron said cheerily, patting my shoulder.

"Alright, so these Super Stones—right?—yeah, Super Stones; how do we get them?"

"They're our only chance at beating the Mecha Squad," Grace sighed.

"Well, for now, that's a problem I'm going to have to work with Hunter and Dustin to solve," Doc Ol said. "In the meantime, I do have that Sonic Scan all processed."

"Good, maybe if we can figure out the identity of these people, we'll have a shot," Jay enthused.

Everyone was silent, hinting to Amy, Jay, and me that they already knew the identity of at least one person, and that it was not good.

"The White Ranger, Jay," Aaron started slowly, "it's…it's Gabe."

The Yellow Ranger's face paled as his eyes faltered to a different object in the room. "Wow."

"I don't know if I can fight him," I immediately responded, shocked at this turn of events. "I mean…"

"Well, you won't be fighting him," our mentor said sternly. "After observing the power differences, I'm ordering each of you to fight your respective colors."

"But dad!" Grace interrupted. "We'll lose every time, you know that!"

"If Beth were to try and fight Gabriel, she could be killed! She's already lost her memory and suffered enough physical injuries as it is," he shouted. "The power gap is much too wide."

"Then we need to get those Super Stones," Patrick said solemnly.

Sighing, Doc Ol stood from his chair. "I'll get to work on finding a way around it."

"We can talk to Aaron's parents tonight, too," Patrick offered. "We'll talk about it over dinner."

Aaron nodded, "Exactly. Besides, once Patrick and Dyn get going talking about Ranger stuff, Dad and I just kind of listen."

Patrick grinned affectionately and I felt very confused. Something was up.

"Uh, well, um, do you think you could take me home on your way?" I asked Aaron.

He looked at me cautiously. "Uh…sure?"

"No, Beth, I've already had Grace call your parents; you'll be staying here tonight so I can keep an eye on you."

I frowned at Doctor O.

"C'mon babe, let's get goin."

I froze as I watched Patrick and Aaron begin to walk away. Babe?

"Wait, I'm sorry," I said as they stopped at the stairs. "Did you just call him…babe?"

Patrick looked uncertain at first before a look of realization hit him. Matt was immediately in front of me, bracing me for what I'm sure was going to be infuriating news.

"Yeah," Matt said kindly, "he did."

"What's the problem?" Aaron asked in his trademark clueless manner.

"I think you left out one tiny little detail of the past few months," I shot.

"Look, we've all gone through this already," Matt defended. "You were with Gabe, and Aaron's with Patrick."

"What?" I screamed, throwing Matt's hands off me. "You're gay?"

Aaron sighed, irritated. "Beth, I don't have time for this."

"And how does everyone know about Gabriel?" I continued, ignoring Aaron's protest.

"The Prophecy and you told us," Amy explained. "But we've all had time to get over all this. It was shocking for…well…everyone, really."

"Well whoopdie-fucking-doo for all of you! I, on the other hand, don't remember having to get over anything!" I bit back the tears of humiliation, anger, and sadness that threatened to fall and stormed upstairs. "I hope you're happy," I spat at Aaron and Patrick before I left.

When I reached the kitchen above, I ran my hands through my long hair (long hair? Last I knew it was just barely past my ears), and gasped for air to hold back these damned tears. When I heard the basement door open again, I glanced back, expecting to see the happy gay couple come prancing out.

It was Grace.

"You okay?"

"Do I look okay? I'm a fucking mess."

"Hey, friends, remember?" she said, holding her hands up in peace.

"Sorry, I keep forgetting."

"Look, I know it's weird seeing them together," she said after a few moments, sitting on a barstool and facing me with a small smile. "I mean, especially because Aaron was part of the reason you and I stopped being friends."

"That wasn't the only reason," I said quietly.

"Well, I've already forgiven you for everything, Beth. The only thing left to do is forgive yourself."

"How?" I half-pleaded. "I mean, I don't even know if I did it the first time around. I don't get how I'm supposed to do all this over again; I'm supposed to adapt to stuff that everyone else has had almost a year to adapt to. My life is already complicated enough without this shit; and what am I gonna do about school?"

I think Grace could tell I was about to lose it, because she gently laid a hand on my shoulder and led me upstairs.

—28—

After a hot shower, some ice cream, and a facial from Grace's beauty kit, I was feeling much, much better.

I sighed as I sat back in the chair, my eyes closed as Grace told me more details of the past 8 months.

"And then Patrick apologized and we forgave him; partly so we could get the Super Stones and partly because we need him. And I guess partly because we knew we couldn't beat him."

I smirked, but on the inside, I was angry. He had been an evil ranger? He almost killed Aaron? Hell, he'd almost killed all of us in that time, apparently. I knew I was being irrational and dwelling in the past, but I was hurting. I was so lost. So confused.

"So, now we've got the Mecha Squad to worry about?" I sighed.

"Yeah, except for they're even more brutal than Patrick. At least with Zeta Ranger, we only had one enemy; we could team up and sometimes avoid major injuries. This group has just as many rangers as us and manages to trump us all."

"That element idea you were talking about earlier sounded like it would've been a good idea. You know, if your dad had let us incorporate it, that is."

"Yeah, but looking back on it in a mathematical way, our elemental advantage would have to be equal to three levels—and that's just if we were to fight base-ranger to base-ranger, never mind the super rangers. I suggested fighting Gabe, but he's a level 21, and I'm a level 5—that's over 15 morphtronic units, and my dad would flip shit."

"This is true," I admitted. "I just can't help but feel useless…I can't remember any of this. You would think that someone would remember stuff as important as all this is."

"None of that jogged your memory at all?"

"Not a bit. I mean, I could find truth in what you were saying—I could see some of the reactions in my head—but it wasn't a memory."

"Maybe if you get some sleep it'll help?" she suggested after a long minute, putting her hair into a ponytail and hopping on her bed. I followed suit with my hair and plopped down on the bed.

"This is just like old times," I laughed finally. "Now all we need is an old chick flick."

"I think I can take care of that," Grace said, clicking on her TV and pressing a few buttons on the remote.

There was a faint knock at the door, only marginally distracting Grace, who instructed the visitor to come in.

Doctor Oliver entered bearing popcorn and a warm smile. "Glad to see you ladies are getting some normal teenager time."

Grace eagerly took the bowl and set it between us. "You and me both!"

"Beth, there's another room at the end of the hall, I made it up for you whenever you two are ready to crash."

Grace looked at me, shaking her head frantically while trying not to alert her father.

"Ah…thanks, but I think I'm probably gonna just sleep in here and fall asleep to a movie."

"Okay, well, it's there if you change your mind."

I nodded appreciatively, though awkwardly, and then looked at Grace, who was now looking at her dad.

"Is there something else, dad?"

"Oh, yeah, um, I talked with Hunter and Dustin—they're going to send Aaron and Patrick tomorrow morning with something Hunter couldn't disclose. So, that means none of you are going to be in school tomorrow—we need a time where we know Gabe won't interrupt. It also gives me a chance to scope out who he's hanging with. Maybe I can find out who his teammates are."

"Sounds like a plan," Grace answered, looking to me. "Sound okay?"

"Oh…yeah…sure?" I mumbled confusedly. Amnesia sucked.

He bid us goodnight and closed the door, much to Grace's relief. "The guest bedroom is creepy, trust me."

I laughed and thanked her. "I'll have to keep that in mind for the next time I'm forced to sleep over."

"Maybe I'll force you more often."

28—

"Power's down by 28 percent!" Matt yelled over the sound of metallic alloy scraping metallic alloy.

I cringed at the sparks spraying from our view window and the consoles around me. "Uhm…boost reserve power to shields. Jay, draw weapons auxiliary from the ventilation systems."

"Raising shields," Amy reported.

Jay followed up: "Re-energizing weapons systems."

Our Megazord stumbled back to its fighting position, looking to the right at Aaron, who was not faring well with the White Aleph Ranger's Mecha Dinofelis zord. Above Aaron was Patrick and the Dragonzord attempting to provide Aaron with aerial cover. He didn't see the Zayin Ranger's Mecha Dracozord coming in from above.

"Patrick, above you!" Matt warned through the communicators.

The Dragonzord barely escaped the claws of its evil opponent, and it spun around to face the Aleph Beyt zord descendent.

"This isn't working out in our favor at all," Aaron said tersely.

"We've got to push them back; let's go into Tetra-Cyber Megazord formation," I decided.

"Tetra-Cyber Megazord, online!" the others announced unanimously.

I took the few moments it took for our zords to combine with Aaron's as a time to breathe steadily and get myself together. Nearly a month had passed since losing my memory, and nothing—even Doc Ol's medical machines and their assistance—would even jog it. So I learned to adapt again. I doubled up on training, became the best Ranger I knew how to be, and I prayed to God I was doing a decent job.

Saving the world, though, was the easy part. It was dealing with the knowledge of Gabriel's demonic destiny and fighting back the feelings I still felt, dealing with seeing Aaron and Patrick together all the time, going to school and relearning a year's worth of materials, and somehow trying to act like everything was okay with my family at home when I couldn't remember a damn thing—that was the hard part.

"Cyber Tetra-Megazord, Battle Ready!"

I snapped from my thoughts and began barking orders. "Amy, Get that Radiated Dissolution Field at max; and Grace, have the Elesfite Ablative Armor locked into place and ready to take some blows. Computer, initiate Auto-responsive Combat Controls."

There were no responses, just the steady whirring of a well-oiled machine heeding to my commands. It was a wonder I remembered the names of the parts of the Megazord—down to the details.

"Aaron, do me a favor and get some of that Solarized Energy Recovery going for our auxiliary; we'll need it."

Immediately, he was on it.

"Matt, Jay; helm control with me. Let's get ready to rumble."

My console informed me of the Blue and Yellow rangers joining main combat helm as I felt the massive Megazord move under my control. Jay jumped forward with a knee strike to the Mecha Megazord's abdomen, and Matt immediately followed with a right hook that sent it reeling. I pushed the weapons fire forward and unleashed our secondary weapon on the chest of the falling Megazord— a Superionic Multivariated Dispersion Beam. To say the least, I fucked their shit up.

I could practically feel the opposing rangers scattering around in their zords. They may have been more powerful, but they had no idea how to work together like we did; they had no idea how to run a Megazord like I did.

"Let's finish this, shall we?" Aaron suggested from the back.

I nodded and the others began powering up our primary weapon.

"Positron Cyber Saber!" we all cried, drawing forth our mighty blade and imbuing it with our powers and elements. "Photon Charge—Cyber Slash!"

When our sword glowed an intimidating white, we slashed forward in an X-Shape, following up with a cross that finished the attack and exploded on impact with our foes. The main Megazord was down, but the Dinofelis and Dracozord were still a problem, and our power cells were dwindling after using such a massive amount of energy on topping the other Megazord.

"I'm gonna go help Patrick, you guys head to the ground and keep the other Mecha Rangers at bay," Aaron instructed, initiating the detachment process for his Tiger Zord.

So, I followed his orders and set my zord on autopilot to return to the hangar bay. In mere seconds I was catapulting toward the ground in a tele-jump, ready to face my Ranger foes on the ground in some good old hand-to-hand combat. I had been training fiercely over the past month or so whenever Doc Ol allowed me to run the training simulations in his basement. It seemed I spent more time at Grace's—as I refused to call it Doctor Oliver's house—than anywhere else. She helped ease the pain of not remembering anything important, and she was more than patient with helping me relearn my Ranger abilities. She was also the most knowledgeable of our powers other than Patrick; but because of his relationship with Aaron, there was no way in hell I'd go to him for help. I couldn't let go of my jealousy.

"You got lucky in the big leagues," the Red Mecha Ranger spat as he stepped up, his teammates following suit.

"Luck had nothing to do with it, believe me."

He cracked his knuckles. "We'll see about that."

"Cyber Squad, attack pattern Gamma Alpha!" I cried out, feeling Matt and Grace fly by me at an accelerated rate. The attack patterns had been incorporated as well over the time we'd been fighting the evil Rangers. Gamma Alpha was one of my favorites, standing for Ground Assault. It took a little help from Aaron and Grace, but eventually, we had a whole playbook of Ranger attacks that we'd been testing out.

Jay and Amy instantly brought up projectiles from my right and left flanks, and I back-flipped behind them as I brought up spikes of earth in a cage-like fashion—ensnaring the Mecha Squad before they could move. From above them, Grace and Matt let loose with a barrage of energy blasts while Jay and Amy did so on the ground. A large explosion hinted at me to release my prisoners from their chthonic cage, so I brought my hands down dramatically and felt the spikes of rock slam down on them.

Mem Black Ranger was the first to recover, spinning a sphere of black water around him and his group and dispelling rocks from around them.

"Mecha Union-Z, attack!" ordered the Yod Red Ranger, Lunarus.

We may not have been able to interchange opponents with the Super Rangers on the field, but with Patrick and Aaron busying Solaris and Technos in the zords, the rest of the Cyber Squad and I played musical-Ranger-opponents and switched things up.

I lunged for Naturos, the female Pink Ranger, spearing her before she could wrap Amy up in a horde of thorny tendrils. Her and her flower garden would be no match for me.

Matt took on Red Ranger Lunarus, whose gravimetric distortions meant little to Matt's aerial abilities, and Grace ousted Spiritos' energy by putting the Yellow Ranger in the dark of shadows. Meanwhile, Amy's acrobatic expulsion of raw energy left the Black Ranger Aquos clueless as to what watery tactics he could use to trump her. The fight Jay was putting up with Tundrus, the team's female Blue Ranger, was hardly a fight at all. Her icicles were nothing more than water vapor before they could even touch Jay's searing hot suit. For once, it seemed like we had the upper hand.

Through my commlink with Doc Ol and the other rangers, I could hear him encouraging Aaron and Patrick to take their "unity to new levels" by forming a Megazord together. After I spinning-heel-kicked Naturos into a pillar of rock I'd quickly erected, I glanced at the zord battle above. Aaron's Cyber Tiger Zord formed a pair of strong legs with its Fighter Mode legs, and reassembled its torso as shoulder armaments for Patrick's Dragonzord—now forming the body, arms, and head of this new Megazord. The tail of the Dragonzord detached and retracted into segments until Aaron's Tiger tail stabbed into the end of it, forming a staff of sorts with Aaron's Delta Blade as the handle and hilt. The Dragonzord head flipped into its back, opening its chest compartment to reveal a new head coming forth. When all was settled, its visor radiated green energy before changing to white and settling on a cold blue that reminded me of both Patrick and Aaron's visors.

"Cyber Chimera Megazord!" I heard the two announce.

It was as if all fighting on the ground ceased as we stared in amazement. I couldn't wait to see Technos and Solaris retreat from the imposing threat of fighting a new Megazord on which they had no data.

"Looks like we got lucky again," I mocked to Lunarus, who was being held in a torrent of wind by Matt. "Let's finish this up, Rangers!"

I quickly summoned up a large rock from the ground and hurtled it at Naturos with my mind, hitting her square in the chest before she could block. She stumbled backward and panted, before looking to her right where her red leader had been thrown by Matt's hurricane winds.

Jay, Amy, and Grace all toppled their opponents before regrouping with Matt and me, and the same thought crossed all of our minds at once. "Cyber Shotgun: Gatlin Formation!"

As we readied our more than impressive blaster, the other team looked wary. Spiritos and Lunarus tried in vain to conjure up a force field capable of shielding them from our blast. I could tell they were all hoping it'd be enough.

It wasn't.

The explosion of energy sent them reeling through the air, their energy suits flickering dangerously.

"Conceal your identity at all costs!" the Red Ranger barked, his voice now sounding familiar. I knew that voice. I racked my brain to come up with a name, but Jay beat me to it.

"Kevin?"

The Red Ranger, who had been in the process of trying to stand, stopped abruptly. Jay had hit the nail on the head.

"Kevin Gerringer?" Jay repeated skeptically, opening the visor of his helmet. I had instinctively worried about revealing our own identities to them when it occurred to me that the team of evil Rangers already had extensive data on us.

The Mecha Squad's Yellow Ranger attempted to help him up as she held her abdomen where she'd been injured. "Don't respond," she tried to whisper.

"I sort of have super sensitive hearing," Matt reminded her bitterly, "so don't bother whispering."

"Why are you all doing this?" roared Jay, stepping forward angrily.

Aquos tried to jettison a beam of water at us, but Amy flicked a shield up almost effortlessly, splashing his water around like child's play.

"Time to retreat," Lunarus—Kevin—groaned with an edge of cockiness. "You might've gotten this one, but you won't be half as lucky next time."

They all touched their belts to teleport, their colors absorbing them in energy as they began to lift from the ground. Suddenly, though, ropes of dark energy caught all their feet. They were quickly slammed down firmly on the ground. I risked a glance to my right and saw Grace holding her arms out steadily, focused on keeping them a little longer. I rapidly locked them all in place in the earth, chaining them with iron-strong shackles of stone.

"You're not going anywhere until you answer us!" I shouted, now overcome with rage. If these were people we knew, how could we destroy them while keeping our morals intact? Gabriel was one thing, but other classmates?

I saw their suits flicker dangerously again.

"We're going to have to demorph them," Amy suggested.

I tightened my grip of the earth on them and heard a few of them cry out in painful protest. "Talk."

"Go fuck yourself," the black ranger snarled.

"Not a chance, Sanders," said Matt, having matched Aquos's voice instantaneously. "Each time one of you speaks, I'll match your voices. Your suits are way too weak to mask your voices for much longer."

"Well, I guess the cat's out of the bag, then," came another voice.

Without losing focus, I cocked my head to the source, about 10 meters ahead of us and far to the left. Mesomorph.

Amy and Jay immediately tried to blast him, but he knocked away their powers with a mere swat of his hand.

"Your bio-cybernetic powers are useless against me," he mused.

"Wanna bet?" Matt shot off in anger.

"Oh, I don't think that will be much of a gamble," the hideous reptilian creature said with what appeared to be a smile. "See, you may be able to fight off my Rangers," he hissed, flexing his three-clawed hand, "but you are no match for me."

"You're lying," Grace snapped. "If that were the case, you would have already done away with us."

"While it's true I have hesitated in the past," he replied truthfully, "I have recently acquired a gracious boost in power thanks to your…Zeta Seraph." He flexed his hand again and I lost my balance as he revoked my claim over the earth holding his rangers.

Casually, he examined his nails as he thought about what to say next. I stared, bewildered. "Now, I have never particularly cared for Eltarians and their celestial heritage, but I must admit they have an astonishingly vast amount of self-replenishing energy."

I hardly saw what happened next. It happened so fast that I wasn't quite sure it did happen. Until I saw the aftermath.

Hurtling at light speed, Aaron had attempted to crash into Mesomorph in a fit of rage. I assumed he and Patrick must have defeated Technos and Solaris on the zord front. Unfortunately for Aaron, though, our psychotic archenemy hadn't been lying about his power increase. Before Aaron could even touch him, Mesomorph roared in defiance and an eruption of red-hot energy fired from his open mouth. It slammed into Aaron, who seemed to hang in the air as the last engulfed him, before the blast threw him through the air in a puff of smoke.

Our princely leader landed a few feet behind us in a smoking heap, his cry of pain more than audible. I intuitively ran to him, wanting to check to see if he was okay, but Patrick had beat me to the punch, arriving in a bolt of lightning so quickly and viciously that I felt the very ground tremble.

I couldn't take anymore. The anger I felt at my own personal dilemma was beginning to peak. Here was Mesomorph, the very source of my suffering, triumphing over us yet again. He seamlessly deflected an attack from one of our strongest Rangers, he had created a team of evil Rangers apparently consisting of our classmates, and had ruined my memory—possibly for good. If it weren't for him, I would never have been forced to watch Aaron fawn over Patrick when the team was together, I would never have lost Aaron to Patrick at all, and I would still have my life—untouched by this chaotic ranger ordeal.

I didn't notice it at first, by my body was radiating energy, and I felt the mountains in the distance begin to shake at my expression of rage. Suddenly, all the rangers were glowing, their energy pouring into me as I allowed every bit of emotion I had to overcome my senses. I could feel them all! Every opinion recently felt by my team came to me at once: Grace's sense of refortified loyalty to me and her surprisingly affectionate devotion to me; Amy's confidence in my abilities and leadership, as well as her admiration for my ability to overcome all the obstacles I had faced; Matt's unwavering dedication to my instinct and communication, accompanied with his surprise at my ability to lead and form friendships with everyone; and I felt Jay's pride bursting in his chest at how much I'd grown in the past year and how I'd inspired him to practice tolerance instead of hate. All of it left me wondering if they were really talking about me.

What hit next continued to surprise me.

Aaron's feelings toward me had obviously changed to a more gracious and almost guilty feeling. He apparently saw me as the first form of solidity he'd had in his life, and thanked me for any understanding he had of emotions—as if I was the one who taught him how to care about someone. Lastly, were Patrick's feelings, which caused me so much pain I thought I could die. He felt so much more intensely than the others for some reason—maybe it was because of how much he bottled up—but I was almost knocked off my feet by the force of his thoughts. He related with me. He understood how betrayed I felt, and had learned to cope with the feelings of animosity he'd had toward me when I first became Red Ranger instead of him. Mostly, he longed for my approval. He felt ashamed and wrong for "stealing" Aaron from me and wanted nothing more than to help me with my loss of my memory. In a way, he saw his loss of his mother as comparable to me losing myself. He wanted to help.

All at once, the feelings coalesced and I heard a colossal explosion in the distance. I heard Mother Earth calling out to me, filling me with her wildest powers, and joining all the elements into me. The Shadows, the Energy, the Winds, the Flames, the Light, and the Weather, all coexisting on planet earth in an ecosystem of perfection.

Her energy wrapped me into a frenzy as I teleported to another realm, absorbing armor from all the different rangers. My hands were imbued with the energy Amy felt, gauntlets that were shining pink changed to a dark red as they latched onto my arms. My feet became strong and graceful as mechanized boots that sparkled with yellow energy also turned red and latched on, spikes issuing from my shins. On my thighs, Jay's element continued to empower me, solid, segmented armor grappling to me. My back burned with passion as Matt's osprey-spirited energy lifted me up, giving me armor with cybernetic wing implants than heated up from their cool blue color to a fiery red. Next, Aaron's presence overtook my chest, showing me the grace of light and making my heart thump with faith. The amount of hope he carried bolstered my morale, for my torso was now lined with thin, but sturdy light-powered armor than remained bright white with a glowing red orb in the center. Patrick's superior power ran down my abdomen and also grasped my shoulders, biceps, and triceps. I felt the static intensity course through my veins and settle in my stomach, where Patrick's energy apparently was harnessed. And lastly, I felt the ominous energy and wisdom of Grace wrap my head in a technologically advanced helmet adorned with spikes and cybernetic enhancements around my face plates. I felt like the master of rangers. Some higher being must have taken me over, because when I posed in this new dimension, the powers of nature abound in a loosed rage, I felt divine.

My voice sounding oddly omnipotent back in the real world's dimension, I bellowed out with all the command of a God: "ALPHA RED GAIATECH RANGER!"
