Hey guys! Hope that you're about to have a merry Christmas, I know I'll enjoy my three complete days off reading, writing, and at times wishing I don't exist. I don't know why by the actual holiday, I get depressed and hate myself….urgh I need to change my life.
Anyway for the tricky question. If you search Yuki, Kaname and Zero on google images it'll be in the fifth picture in the fifth row.
Here's the link: url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=78JdMT8-WiHW7M&tbnid=AZj_cTuEtwtzZM:&ved=0CAQQjB0&url=http%3A%2F% .com%2Fwiki%2FKaname%2C_Zero_%2526_Yuki&ei=e8S1UtSdMeGfyQHP0YDYDw&bvm=bv.58187178, &psig=AFQjCNEPJnBlU9NWRqvL_AVIMWwvEAxRcg&ust=1387730140504155
Ahhhhhh long link…But anyways the full picture is much better because it kind of shows the connection. Zero trying to kill Kaname, Kaname stopping him without even looking worried, and Yuki being the peace maker with both hugging her.
Although I do like the one where Yuki and Zero have white wings and Kaname looks like a demon king that captures Yuki….MY GOD THAT SYMBOLISM!
Kaname awoke and with small surprise realized he was missing the girl that had stayed with him last night. Usually he was the one to have been up before her, but now it was obvious that she wanted a chance to break away. He rose from the bed in no big rush to chase after her, knowing well that patience would result in her coming to him as he did so for ten long years.
He slipped into a white dress shirt and left it unbuttoned before walking into his sitting room. The books that had been Yuki's notebooks as a human along with the journal he had written in were gone from their place on his desk, though it wasn't a big ordeal of who had taken them. His attention diverted to the chessboard that he walked over to. Very hesitantly, he opened a small compartment drawer on the table as the white queen rolled towards him.
Picking it up tenderly, he ran his fingers around the piece as if memorizing every edge before placing it behind the white king. The real game…a game of mind…was set into motion.
Yuki was curious to the handwriting and compared it to a few written pieces she had written on earlier in the week. The handwriting was eerily similar to the fact they were one in the same.
"It's so odd." She muttered, moving aside the books and rising from her desk. The grey tunic hugged her small delicate curves over the skin tights that were placed underneath. Her long dark brown hair was held back by a simple black headband to complete the modern look other than the pin heels she was still forced to wear.
She paced around thinking over the facts that played in her head. Other than the evidence that was clear to the thoughts she held about keeping to the title she was destined to be given from birth, and the memories and writings of Kaname. A part was still conflicted of the reason to not trust the happenings around her.
Her head shot up to the sudden sound of familiar piano music that she looked to her door that was kept locked. All morning she had been careful to not speak much aloud, knowing the bodyguards that kept count of her every breath. Now, their presence was missing.
Cautiously she neared the door and looked out to see the hallways bear but the piano music still echoed around the emptiness of the halls. She stepped out of the room and looked around before walking down the hall to follow the beautiful orchestration. It was nothing that was commonly known of, like Mozart.
The music led downstairs to the parlor as she opened the door a little wider to look at the composer. It was of little surprise or shock to her to see Kaname sitting in front of the piano with his fingers gliding over the keys. She turned her head to either side to see he was alone without his concierge.
"You can come in Yuki." He sighed, sounding a little agitated. Her pride overflowed her, as she opened the door wide enough and waltzed in without any disgrace.
"What are you playing?"
"The piano." He teased, an actual smile that was never shown before the nobles spreading across his face.
"What piece?" She corrected, leaning over to look over his shoulder to recognize his own handwriting on the music sheets that he didn't bother to look at. Instead he looked to her with a comforting and relaxed smile that tugged at a piece in her heart.
"It was a composition that I started composing on your twelfth birthday. I like to say that it has been my greatest pass time that I promised would be complete by our wedding day."
Yuki made no comment or gesture but took a seat along him on the bench looking to the piece. She was able to recognize a few of the keys, from piano lessons she might have taken at a point in her past, as on instinct the placed her hand over the keys. Their hands played in sync to coordinate to the sheets of music, to where it reached a part Yuki could read no more, and before she moved her hand away, Kaname's placed over to guide her fingers along the keys. With the piece trailing off to all that was composed atop the sheet.
"It's beautiful." She murmured with a small sigh, his hand trailed up her arm to gently caress the nape of her neck.
"My Yuki hardly speaks to me." He sighed in disappointment. "It's been weeks since you've awoken, yet you refuse to speak with anyone…refuses to interact with anyone. I wonder why?"
Yuki moved away from his touch, and remained curious to why he didn't try to keep her close.
"Because, you never know when someone will lie to you…and use you."
"Yuki, I promise, no one here will ever dare think of using you or stealing from you. I can give you my own word…that for twelve years I have avoided drinking of your blood…and if there ever was anyone…whoever tries or tried to steal your blood…I will kill them."
Yuki's eyes widened at the chivalrous act proposed to her.
"Where are the others today? The mansion is so quiet." She murmured softly.
"I sent them away to take care of a few matters…and I thought that perhaps we really needed some time alone."
His arms encircled around her waist that took her off guard.
"I want to know what you're thinking Yuki…without looking into your eyes or sucking your blood. I want to hear…the woman I love…the woman I would do anything for…tell me what brings her so much fear."
"Let me go."
"Tell me first."
Yuki's efforts failed knowing his strength was greater than hers…although she did think herself a weak vampire.
"I'm afraid of the truth…I'm afraid of how to accept everything….I don't know how to…the pressure upon my mind…and the feelings that haunt my heart…I wish that I could have made this disaster never happen." She cried turning to nestle into his arms. "I wish I could find the person who makes me suffer this way…and kill him. I would have been happier had things remained the way they were."
Kaname brushed his hand over her hair gently with calming whispers of comfort.
"Accept what you feel Love…you fight it because you are afraid…but fear not for the one who shall always protect you is here. As for the one responsible, in due time we shall make him feel pain to what you have felt. You can be assured I have not forgotten him."
"May I ask you for something?" She asked, her hand clenching his shirt.
"Anything,"
"Let me go outside." She whispered looking up to him. "I don't want to feel like a pet that is trapped inside a cage. Let me out."
His expression was stiff that he reluctantly sighed and loosened his hold on her.
"You are safest with me, so if it was ever a time for you to go out it'd be now." He replied, walking past her to a closet. He pulled out a small navy coat with a fur hood and handed it over to her. "It's snowing outside Love."
She took the coat and looked to the door, ready to step out into the world. Her hand gripped the handle before pulling it open to see the surrounding woodland area covered in white snow. A small flurry was still floating down upon her as she stepped out from under the cover of the door step and looked up to the full moon that was still present beyond the clouds.
A small gasp left her lips as she stepped further outward onto the land. Her shoes weren't made for the weather conditions but she kept from sinking into the snow as she looked around in wonder. Snowflakes nestled into her hair and stuck to her clothes that she paid no mind to, with the tension that was released from her body in the moment she stood in the fresh air.
A hand dusted over her head to brush off the snowflakes as she looked up to look into Kaname's eyes. His eyes looked to her with a small glow of happiness that spread the warmth of happiness into her as she smiled up to him.
"It's so beautiful out here." She giggled, twirling under the falling snow. "The air is much better….and at long last I feel like I can think for myself now."
"Is that how it feels being under my care?" He murmured into her ear. She looked to him to see a playful smirk upon his lips.
"I feel like I don't have to hide anymore." His eyes widened at the comment, though she looked away. "You always say that you don't mind waiting…but now I want an honest answer from you."
"Oh?" He asked in surprise.
"I want to know what you want."
Silence filled the air other than the howling wind of the snow, as they kept places in the shadows away from the moonlight. Their eyes remaining focused upon each other while waiting for the tension to loosen.
"All I would ever want…is for Yuki to finally come to me willingly." He finally replied, taking a step under the light. Yuki diverted her gaze, before she let out a hesitant breath.
"Things might not ever be the way that it was…but that can be okay…when you think about it, this gives us a new chance to create new memories. It may take forever….but I know that this can be the first step…to the lives we may lead."
She stepped out towards the light and walked up to him. Her hand caressing his cheek.
"But only for now…I want to know what it feels like…If we were to have been…close in the past, than…a kiss will be my proof. But also is something I want."
She stood upon her tiptoes for their lips to touch under the moonlight.
Okay why am I ending it like this? Why? Because I don't know…WHY IS IT EVERYTIME THAT THE HOLIDAYS COME I HAVE SOME TIME OF RETHINKING OVER MY LIFE! I just don't know….oi, I just need 2013 to be done with. But thanks for reading and I have a double question for you today! This time doesn't involve anime *gasp* but something equally as good.
Q1: What is your favorite Disney movie?
Q2: Any good New Year resolutions anyone?
