Finn's perspective.

Yeah, Finn loved Rachel. And now that they were finally together he realises that.
But also something else.
Every time they make out he always gets hit by her nose.
During that day's make out session Rachel's nose hit him, right under his eye.
"Rach?" Finn says, "You're poking me with your beautiful but, uh, generous nose."
That's what started the three day fight.
Finn eventually went to Kurt and asked him to help him write an apology letter to Rachel.
That day Finn learned an important life lesson.
Always get Kurt to write his letters, especially the romantic ones.
