Sorry that I haven't updated. I have had this ready for so long I just had to retype it on my computer.

I also have school but I am done with this chapter.

It has been a month since Karin and Toshiro got a letter from Ichigo. Toshiro has been watching Karin like he was told. Karin has had a lot of training with all the captains. After a week of training Karin was able to get her shikai and was getting to learn a more about her zanpakuto. Then after 2 or 3 weeks of very hard training, she was able to get bankia.

Karin got Toshiro to agree that on the weekend that was her free day and got to relax. One time Toshiro brought Karin to a hot spring and Matsumoto was able to convince her captain to let her come too, but she had to pay for herself. The whole time they were there Matsumoto was bugging them saying how Toshiro was wanting Karin all to himself in the hot spring. Toshiro was always yelling at Matsumoto to shut up or leave him alone. It was funny to Karin most of the time anyway, a few times it was weird and the first time she said that Toshiro wanted to see her in the hot spring she was blushing so much. Every other weekend they would spend together and watch movies and NOTHING else. Just in case Ichigo would randomly pop up.

Now Karin was at the end of training with Ukitake. Toshiro was walking to where they were training. Ukitake saw that he was coming and waved him over to him. When he got there he saw that they were having tea and candy. Toshiro sat in between Karin and Ukitake, but not too close to Karin and not too close to Ukitake so it would look normal incase anyone saw them. Ukitake smiled at Toshiro and then turned to Karin and winked. It was like he was telling her to do something. Karin got up from where she was sitting and Toshiro looked at her confused.

"Where are you going?" Toshiro asked knowing that they were away from other people in the squad, but still wasn't sure if someone would come and see them. Karin smirked at him and walked close to him.

"Oh if you are so worried then I guess I will have to do something." Toshiro looked at her still confused and Karin just grinned.

"How are you going to do that?" Toshiro was still confused by everything that was going on. Toshiro thought that it was weird that Karin and Ukitake were out a little bit further than usual.

"I will do it like this." Once Karin said that she sat down in his lap. Toshiro was a little shocked by this until came close to his ear and whispered, "It's okay. We are further away and no one will come here. So you don't have to worry, just act like you would when we are alone, but lets not forget that Ukitake is here. You still have to follow the rules that Ichigo told you to do."

"Fine, whatever you say?" Then Toshiro put his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him. "Are you happy now? I'm following the rules." Toshiro said seductively to Karin.

"Very much so." Karin then turned back to Ukitake. "Thanks for letting us do this and it is kind of nice to see new place and it is a little more relaxing out here." Karin smiled started to look around and Ukitake just smiled at him.

"Oh it is completely fine. I like to come here every once in a while as well. It is very beautiful out here only few know that I come out here and they are only aloud to come here unless I say so or it is important."

"That's good that you can have a place that is relaxing and no one can come unless it is important and with your health it is probably helping." Toshiro said with a little smile. Ukitake looked a little surprise then had a smile on his face.

"See that you have changed for the good. It's nice to see you smile more." Ukitake said and before Toshiro could say anything Ukitake turned to Karin, "So thank you Karin for that."

"Oh it's nothing really. I am glad that he smiles more too." Karin smiled and leaned back on Toshiro more so he had to use this arms for support.

"Hey what is that supposed to mean? And what are you talking about Karin? You haven't really done anything to me." Toshiro said trying to argue back. Karin turned around so she was facing him and smiled at him seductively.

"Oh really now. I think you are lying and you know it. So why don't you just say that I helped make you smile more." Karin then leaned in close to his ear and whispered, "Then I will give you a kiss."

"A bride won't do anything and really a kiss. I won't fall for something like that." Toshiro said confidently with a smirk. Karin just smirked as well.

"Well how do our usual one kiss end?" Karin just smirked and moved away to look at his face, but Toshiro did not remove his smirk from his face.

"But I thought you said we have to follow the rules and we are also in front of Ukitake." Toshiro smirked but then he was a little surprised when she moved her hand to his chest and started messing with his top.

"What if we went behind a tree and break a few rules then?" Karin smirked still playing with his top and moved her face really close to his. Toshiro swallowed hard really hard and even Ukitake could hear it and he couldn't even hear their conversation.

Just then none of them seem to notice two third seats running toward them. Kiyone Kotetsu and Sentaro Kotsubaki are the third seats of squad thirteen were the ones running towards them. When they got there they saw Karin on Hitsugaya looking like she was seducing him and he was about to fall for it. They even looked like they were going to kiss.

"Umm… Captain Ukitake there is a captain meeting and umm… Miss Karin will need to be there as well." Kiyone said still being a little shocked about the scene in front of them.

"It is also immediately so you should hurry." Sentaro said loudly. Ukitake just smiled at the two.

"Thank you Kiyone and Sentaro, oh and don't tell anyone about Captain Hitsugaya and miss Karin being together. It is a secret and now we have to trust you, I also don't think you would want Captain Hitsugaya going after you." Ukitake said with another smile that sent a chill down their spine and that it was also a smile that anyone, unless you are completely stupid kind of like Ichigo, that said to keep their mouth shut unless you want to die. Karin got up from Toshiro's lap and helped him up. They saw that Ukitake was already up and ready to go with them.

When they got there everyone but three were there and ready to start the meeting. Toshiro got into his spot and so did Ukitake while Karin just stood in the middle of the room. The head captain looked at her with a bit of a smile.

"Karin Kurosaki have you learned how to use your bankia?" The head captain asked Karin.

"Yes, I know how to use it." Karin said nodding her head, wondering why he is asking this when he has seen it himself. Toshiro had no idea what was going on while Ukitake just had a big smile because he had learned about this a week ago and was just waiting for this.

"How do you like it here in the soul society?" The head captain asked her with a little bit of a bigger smile.

"I like it very much and there are a lot of good people and friends here." Karin said still very scared.

"Then have you ever considered staying here?" The head captain asked Karin wondering what she would say. Karin was just shocked at what the head captain just asked her. She did want to stay with Toshiro but she never could and for him just asked the question she thought he never would. Toshiro was so shocked when he asked Karin that question and he was hoping she would say yes.

"To be truly honest I never really thought about it because I knew that I had to go back and that this would probably be the last time of me coming here, well until I dead. Now that you have asked the question I never thought you would has really surprised me and I am wondering why you would me to stay. I know that it is not normal for a human to stay here, so why is it you want me to stay here?" Karin asked knowing that they were hiding something from them.

"Oh I see that you have caught on to it. I didn't really think you would but I am glad that you did. I asked a few of the captain if they thought you would be worthy of becoming a captain and to my surprise they all said yes. Never though I have not seen your bankia, if you say yes to this question then I will have to see your bankia to see if you can truly become one. So Karin Kurosaki so you want to become a captain of the thirteen court squads?" The head captain looked at Karin with complete seriousness. Karin was shocked and so was Toshiro. They never really thought that the head captain would do something like this.

Karin smiled at this and that just surprised Toshiro even more. "Yes I would like to become a captain, but before I do I would like to do something before hand and I want to make sure that I can go anytime I want back to Karakura town to see my family of course squads." Karin said this with not a question it was more like a demand. The head captain opened his eyes just a little, very little, to look at Karin and then closed them again.

"I think I could work with this, but I would like to know what you are planning to do before you become a captain."

"I want to kill the person that was trying to kill me and I will also like the help of Captain Hitsugaya to do it. He was there when the person tried to kill me."

"Very well then with that said you are all dismissed." The head captain said that and everybody started to leave. A few people came up to Karin and congratulated her. Toshiro went up to her and whispered in her ear that they should head home.

When they got there once the door closed Karin started to jump up and down and cheering. Then she jumped on Toshiro and that surprised him so they both fell on the ground. Karin was laughing so hard.

"Can you believe it Toshiro? I'm going to become a captain like you and protect the ones that can't protect themselves and I can also stay here in the soul society with you." Karin said laughing and she hugged Toshiro with all her might.

"Yes you can, I am so happy that you can stay here and then I can be with you anytime I want. I can go to you anytime I want and no one can say anything. I do have one question and that's why do you want to kill that person?" Toshiro asked hugging Karin back and looking down at her while she looked up at him.

"I want to prove to everyone and Ichigo that I don't need protected and that I am strong enough to fight my own fights with no help."

"So why do you want me to come along if you want to fight him yourself?"

"I need someone to watch so that I can prove that I did kill him and I will probably need you to help me get back to regular health because I have a feeling I am going to get hurt badly."

"What do you mean Karin?"

"It doesn't matter, but tonight can we sleep in the same bed? Tomorrow we are going to the world of the living so I can kill him and you are not allowed to help at all." Karin said with complete seriousness in her voice when she looked at Toshiro.

"Yes I guess I will have to do what you say." Toshiro picked up Karin and carried her to his room because the bed was little bigger. Toshiro put Karin in the bed and then crawled in the bed as well.

When Toshiro was about asleep he thought he heard Karin say 'Sorry Toshiro but this is fight is mine and even if I die. I hope that you know that I love you and that is why I wanted to spend the night with you. I hope you don't get mad at me. I really love you'. Toshiro felt Karin's head moved over to his chest and went to sleep. Toshiro hugged Karin and went to sleep with her but before he went to sleep he promised that he will make sure that she will live and that she can fight the guy by herself but he will help in another way.

Oh I hope you people liked the chapter.

I need to tell you that I am planning on only have one or maybe two more chapters then the story will be over. I hope you people like it. I will try to update faster than how long it took me t update this one.
