"Hi Stacey," Trent called out, confidant that this was going to be it, he was going to ask her out.
Stacey turned and wow she is so beautiful and amazing and funny. I can't do this!
"Yes, Trent?" Stacey replies.
"Y-your hair looks nice," he mumbled to the floor, bright red.
Your hair looks nice? What the hell Trent, what happened to asking her to the Lima Bean? She's going to think I'm-
"Thank you! Hey wanna come to the Lima Bean at 3?"
Well, fantastic.
"Yeah- uh sure. I-I gotta go, see you then!" Trent stammered and rushed off.

Prompt- 'Trent is insecure about his weight'. That was always something I wanted to hear about him-you know, maybe the 'sassy warbler' isn't so sassy. Maybe he's just as scared and shy as the rest of us.

Everyone in the Warblers had something about themselves that they weren't proud of. Be it physical, mental or emotional.
But the one who hid it the best was Trent.
He hid the fact that he beats himself up about his weight. When he's by himself he's not the cheery person he usually is.
So that's why he stays around his friends and are grateful for them. His crazy, psychotic friends who always make him laugh and join in on their adventures.
It was the best part about boarding, the best part about Dalton Academy. It made his life amazing.
