"Emma stop..." Regina let out, pulling away from the kiss. She saw the blonde's eyes opening in shock and fear, but she couldn't be selfish to the point of letting Emma into that mess. "It's not right, I've done something terrible, I can't let you be around someone like me" she was being honest, she couldn't lie to Emma, she knew that.

Emma took a few seconds to react but when she did, the answer let Regina speechless.

"Maybe I'm brainless,

Maybe I'm wise

But you've got me seeing

Through different eyes."

Regina looked at Emma in shock, after all the blonde heard her singing in the hospital and she was finishing the song, she was answering her, finally.

"Somehow I've fallen

Under your spell

And somehow I'm feeling

It's up that I fell"

Emma took Regina's hand into her own and smiled so truly, so deeply but Regina couldn't give in, she was fighting herself.

"Emma, don't. We can't be together, I.." her words were lost in Emma's voice.

"Say there's no future,

For us as a pair.

And though I may know

I don't care, as long as you're mine"

"I don't care what you say, you won't keep me away" Emma confessed caressing Regina's hair, she missed the brunette, every second, every breath, she missed her and she didn't want to feel that way again "I love you Regina Mills and I'll make you mine".

"Are you proposing?" Regina let out in a laugh.

"One day you can bet I will, I'll be kneeling in front of you showing you that my heart and my life always belonged to you" Regina's mouth was open. "But for now" Emma said pulling the brunette closer "For now I'm saying that I want you with me, and I'll not waste any time"

This time Regina couldn't escape and honestly she didn't want too, when Emma's lips captured hers she melted into the kiss and forgot all her fears, all her doubts, she wasn't being selfish, she was in love.

"One day you'll get enough of me" the brunette said tired when they broke the kiss, she was so tired from all the fighting and the crying, she was exhausted "I'll get old, and boring and you'll get tired of me"

Emma grabbed the brunette's face gently and looked her right in the eyes "One day you'll get older and I'll be here, one they you'll feel boring and I'll be here, one day you'll tell me to go and I'll still be here, and you know it" a smile was born in Regina's lips and Emma kissed them gently.

"I'm tired Emma" Regina confessed finally when they were both on the couch, her head resting in Emma's chest, listening to her heart beating against her rips "I'm so tired" she whispered one last time.

"Sleep angel, I'll be here when you wake up" Emma said kissing the brunette's forehead.

Regina smiled once more before falling asleep "That's the only reason I have to wake up"
